Its nice to have additional lighting when needed. Some states require lighting like this be on a seperate switch that only gets power from the factory supplied low beam circuit this limits excessive lighting while driving on the hidhway to protect blinding on coming traffic.
Stevie! Thanks for another great video. Ima let this marinade in my mind to see if I want to do the same. But I do have a question or advice. I’m going to do the water pump, and a seal refresh on my truck. And was thinking of doing a long road trip after. Of course if all my work is done right. But would love some advice on prepping the truck for a long drive. Or if anyone in the comments would suggest something
Thanks man!🤙 A good seal/gasket replacement job is always a good idea for these old trucks. I’m not sure how long your road trip is going to be. However, I recommend doing a shorter trip day and hour of interstate/highway. If any problems arise, it will happen during that trip. Otherwise my prep for a long drive was always the same for these old trucks. Check all fluids and replace as necessary. Take additional fluids if it’s typically for them to get low. So for my truck, that was oil.
Do you know if the light bar comes with the harness or do you have to buy that separately? Secondary question, was the bottom screw hard to get in/not put in after installation of the light bar? Thank you!
@@TheMinuteMastersI’d think if the truck were sitting running with the lights for an extended period I’d check it to see how hot it gets but if you’re driving it’ll be air cooled enough not to worry.
LEDs produce very very little heat, truckers prefer halogen bulbs because the heat keeps the headlights clear of snow if you live in a snowy area look at the headlights on the newer cars you’ll see it
If you own one of these F150 this channel is a answer to a Prayer .
Thank You for saving me Minutes / Hours .
Thanks man!🤙 I appreciate it!
Nice i just ordered 2 of them one for both of my trucks ill probably do the ditch lights also.
looks great!!! Good idea for off-road.
Hello from Higgins lake Michigan with a 93 Ford aerostar

Thank you!🤙

Definitely!
I didn’t know that. I just figured I wanted it on a separate switch.
Awesome thanks

That truck is looks better and better❤

Yup! The light bar came with a harness. I pre-assembled the brackets to the light bar and then had to mount it to the grille.
Would pop rivets have made installation a little easier than cutting the bolt and messing with it?
You can go that route too. I don’t own a pop rivet tool.
Do you haces video showing how to install your differential locker? And/or a review about the same product?
I paid a guy to install the diff. I’m hoping to do a review video and somehow capture how it works.
Maybe some locknut or lock washers would be a good idea.
True
Did you do a video on installing the ditch lights?
Yup! That is in the lights and wiring playlist.
Where did you get the projector headlights?
They are from Baja HID retrofits there’s a link to their website in that particular video description and on my channel name page
did you get the curved or straight one might be a dumb question but im just making sure before i buy one
Straight!
Wheres the install of the msd digital performance module
It’s in one of my playlists.
What size is that one?
This one is 26” long and about 1” wide.
What size light bar
I think I mention the size in the video but it’s either a 20” or 24”.
What brand is the light bar?
The brand is called Colight. Foreign light manufacturing.
@@TheMinuteMasters Thank you!
Doesn't look too bad, I'd be worried about the plastic melting though.
I’ll be curious too. If it does melt, then I’ll report on that. I’ve seen this setup before and haven’t heard anything.

Any restriction of air flow to the radiator is a bad idea.
True but I’m not worried about that for this application.
Nah. Light bars are evil.
Hahaha! If you leave them on while driving on public roads.
@@TheMinuteMasters Unfortunately, that is most of the people who install them.
