    Great sound from the guitar and your fingers. You should do a video about your guitar background. How you started why you started and how long it took to sound good. Just a thought.

    After researching the company a little, it makes me want one even more! The Echo Live is 395 USD but without the Fishman preamp the Echo is 295 USD. That’s a screaming bargain for this kind of tone. Of course being played by Darrell helps heaps I’m sure!!

  • @frankhinckley8462
    @frankhinckley8462 5 років тому +4

    After much research (this being the best video btw) I decided to take a chance and purchase this guitar. I must admit I'm not disappointed. Great customer service. The folks at Orangewood were quick to answer my concerns and give me advice. The guitar case/bag is top quality. The look of this guitar is stunning. I did change the strings (no big deal) but after that this beauty was ready to go. It has a great sound unplugged and run through a decent acoustic amp I guarantee you the audience can't tell the difference between my Orangewood Echo Live and my $2200 Gibson hummingbird witch has been sitting in its case since I got the Echo Live. I just can't put this guitar down. Very nice playability too.
    Hoping they make this model with a cutaway in the future.
    I don't really need another acoustic but for the price this one's a keeper.

    I bought the Echo last November, it's an excellent guitar for the price, something to consider is that doesn't have much of bass, still a superb sound quality guitar and the setup it's perfect, I choosed the echo instead of the FG 830 because of the profesional setup that orangewood provides and the free accessory kit and gig bag, I strongly encourage you to buy any orangewood for your budget, the set up is all! As a beginner that you don't know how to setup your guitar it's frustrating, but if the company provides you that, it's a big win

    I know you could make the spiderwebs on a mailbox sing however I have to hand it to Orangewood for recognising your talent to show off their products. My Acoustic imo has too high action and I was looking to replace it with something good but far less than a Martin D-28. The Echo Live (maybe Mason Live) looks exactly like what I'm looking for. I'm old school so never learned much about difference in single cutaway acoustic, maybe one day that could be on your topic list unless it's already in your backlog and I've missed it. I cannot believe how you continually raise the levels in what you create, so, so, awesome, thanks.

    I fell in love with guitar because of acoustic. That thing sounds great esp for the price. I actually first learned chords at the nut and how to barre E and A shapes on a classical. I really, really want a good steel string acoustic guitar. It does not have to have pups at all because a well built dreadnought style acoustic guitar will project. I mean , I would rather mic the acoustic than mic an acoustic amp .. I hope that makes sense. I would love to hear what you think is the best steel-string acoustic bang for the buck! I vote NO on the pick guard issue. That's my two cents worth. Just take care when playing, like all fine pickers do, and later... if need be, from sustained scratches, put the guard on then. But it is refreshing to see a folk guit. without, for a change. And yes, I agree, very clean clear tone. Sound-wise, it reminded me of a good (and probably far more expensive) Yamaha acoustic... in that mid to upper-mid echelon.
