Hey it would've been so cool to see you vlog in Scotland on a scooter or something plus you probably could've written the trip off as a business expense.
Burch! Your channel name is LifeOfBurch! We know your channel is bike centered, but you channel name isn't Burch'sBikes... give us vids of your in between life. They still keep your channel good n full for the algorithms, and all us regulars will enjoy them and keep your channel numbers 👍.
Like I knew we had been busy….But hearing it all together makes me feel a lot better about being 3 weeks behind on laundry😂😂😂 this is a crazy life but we’re absolutely blessed🤍🧡
Dude I would watch anything you post, because your videos learn me another about doing up grades on my bike, and helps me want to try different bikes, and different rides. I learn a lot about bikes and up grades for my bike.
Burch installs and reviews and Burch trips..sounds like a good plan bro. Im gonna be honest, the review ones are/were instrumental to projects i have done to my bike. And really the trip ones were cool because getting to see life beyond installing videos, life behind the scenes of sorts. Also..sorry you had to go to Jersey bro😂😂😂😂
Burch, it’s because of you that I started riding. I started watching your Honda Navi videos and loved when you had your girlfriend on the channel teaching her how to ride. You got me interested in motorcycling and help me gain the confidence to actually do it. I can’t thank you enough for what you do!
I bought my first bike “ a Navi” found you and ended up subbing. I say you need to do you this is what got you here. People come on to learn and see the different things that you do, even when you’re riding and ranting or sharing or cool places to see or ride.
I found you through a review but have stayed for the vlogs. When it is rainy or late and I can't go out for a ride, I can ride along with one of your videos. And I've gotten lots of ideas from your videos as well which makes riding even more fun - because part of the fun of owning a bike is accessorizing it with stuff! Thanks for the great content!
Well, this is called Lifeofburch, I see your point about the way UA-cam does things, but I enjoy them all. Life is a mix of ups and downs. The relationship you and Nina have is special, I find it enjoyable to see the two of you together. You could always do some comparisons of Honda models past and present or discuss the Shadow Line. Do more dealer test rides and dealer locations. With your riding experience you could very well do a great job on reviewing all types and brands.
Soooo freaking excited for you bro!!! It’s exciting watching how excited you are about your dream Honda. Like you my dream car isn’t a new one it’s a 2000 Honda Civic Si. Whatever your channel covers I’m with you bro. You’re worth the watch!
Burch I love your trips. Especially since I'm from the Eastern Shore and I get to see you ride roads I recognize. I love the variety and I will watch anything you put out.
So for me, I just started watching like a month ago and what lured me in was your review videos because I want to get a bike and was trying to figure out what I want ( going to get a rebel 1100) but when viewing your review videos I noticed a few of your other videos and those are what really locked me in to watching you and ended up getting me to subscribe. Love watching your videos now and through you started watching and liking Nina's videos too. I think you need a mix of both for the channel to thrive. Whatever you do just keep up the videos, you're doing great! Hope to see you out on the roads brother!
I came across your channel from the Navi videos when I got mine. Then I got a grom, and watched those videos. Then I got a scrambler and watched those. At this point I watch all of your videos. Keep it up man
I found your channel when I was looking into getting a Navi and I will say after watching your videos and seeing the mods you’ve done to it I fell in love with the channel and bought a Navi. I love all your videos no matter what you post
That little downtown is so cuuute! I know we talked about my husband and I coming out to visit but let's do it for real in 2025. This year has been crazy for me as well 😲 I feel like the algorithms low key hate motorcycle lifestyle content. I'm a bit bored of things tanking and I feel like I straight up can't keep up with what UA-cam wants to promote. The stuff I want to make is a bit cursed, and at this point I have to prioritize simple for 80% of what I make.
I had to rewatch the beginning of the video because I was having flashbacks. I used to love going there back when I lived just off of route 50. I don’t know if you ever tried the crepe spot, but it is delicious. On topic, enjoy your life dude. That’s one thing that will help you enjoy making content. Keeping some parts of your life for yourself and your family like you said of making content on a family vacation. I was worried it was all gonna be news of a tough time, but it was you taking the time you need.
Hey Burch. It was cool to hear all the cool trios you've been doing. I think whatever you think works out best you should do, whatever type of content you do. The greatest part of this channel is that its all you saying whatever you feel like so as long as it keeps the personality it'll be great. Also I would personally love to see the long term Navi review necause I've been looking at those P.s sorry this is so long lol
Being a youtuber can get exhausting but the reason I like your videos is because of how chill they always are. As far as the new 1100 I have always preferred the 1100t's since they are basically baggers lol. I look forward to seeing what you do! Keep it up and I hope you both are doing well.
The unfortunate problem is that people are watching other social media reels and videos. A lot of my favorite vloggers either have gone offline or moved to doing videos on other social media and I only have a few favorites left here, you being one of them who are still sticking with it. However, a few have started posting stuff pointing out their You Tube channel showing a complete video. Keep it up because your fans are still sticking around. I hope you continue here and I look forward to seeing more. I don't know why I haven't gotten notifications from your channel but I guess it's your absence or the algorithm but I have been searching for my favorites and I have found you. I'll check up on you from now on.
Bro keep it up - you’ve helped me mod my 1100 this year and rode right in the same exact area where that water flooded and thought of you! lol cheers bru
You are a brave woman. That cracked me up. I am still riding my XR 150 Honda I bought after watching your review. Best putt putt ever. I like all your vids.
Glad to see you back! I totally get the splitting out of channels. I created a 2nd channel earlier this year... the biggest hit is that while Road Reality is monetized, the new one isn't... although it's getting close to that. It just takes time. Your channel is still growing, I'd say it's still motorcycle- or vehicle-centric, so just keep mixing it in. Also, congrats on the Element! That car has a huge and loyal following!
My personal favorites is the vlog, youre so easily to relate to, funny, LOVE how random you are! Im a little on the ADHD side so i get it lol. Love when you point out the history and just good views. You inspire me to ride again. I do like the reviews also just bc its helpful. Just a fans input here, thank you for being you and sharing your journeys!
Last month my wife an I flew to Italy, spent 12 days there and flew back. We live in California, so that's a 9 hour difference. I feel your jet-lag pain! If you do decide to split your channel between rides and mods/reviews I'll follow them both, as I enjoy your style of presentation. It's because of channels like yours that I finally took the safety class and got my M1 endorsement on my license. I really like your content, and if you do decide to split your channel I'll follow the second (and third?) as well. Keep up the great work!
Hey Burch. I subscribed I don't know how long ago at this point and I've always enjoyed your content for the most part. Hell, I don't even ride a motorcycle. (Always been curious, but I don't have enough dough to buy one.) I watch a lot of youtubers and downtime is to be expected from them at times. You aren't any different. Life happens. You don't owe anyone an explanation, but you are a nice guy so you do. Kudos for all the content and keep having fun!
so i found your channel searching reviews for the navi..went out n got one not too soon later. i also learned a lot of your upgrade videos when i got my 300. ya got me here for that specific content but i generally like your vibe and the way ya edit. i think a travel vlog would be cool too. i would follow that channel also but i agree splitting it up would prob be best for you and sponorship deals in the future.
I got a Honda Navi in March 2023 n was my 1st bike so that’s how I found you. Im interested in the Rebel and the E clutch bikes too. The rides b stuff are just cool motorcycle content to watch. The main reason I watch ur channel tho is your authentic n I think that’s why other ppl do too. Enjoy ur channel for what is it. I think we get impatient with wanting things bigger n better but I think your content is relatable cuz u strugglin like the rest of us lol(no disrespect in any way). Love your content, you’ve created something pure and it’s something to be proud of. Just enjoy the ride, No pun intended👌
One of the reasons i watch and respect your content (again one of many) is exactly that - you buying your own stuff, and talking positives / negatives, unhindered just because the OEM lending you the bike we're interesting to see your take and oppinion on. I think this makes your stuff much more organic and honest, to us (especially like if for me a new bike purchase is on the horizon, coming next spring). Cheers.
I really enjoy the moto trip vlogs. Just picking a destination and riding and capturing the experience, like the throwing a dart video was super good. Not saying the other content isn't good or entertaining. But you're doing the type of riding I have always wanted to do since I ever got on a bike, it is part of the reason I kept coming back to the channel. Either way man keep posting the things you enjoy, and the viewers will follow!
Glad you found your Element! I had a 2008 to haul my bicycles around, but in 2017 a tree branch impaled and totaled it. Couldn't find a replacement and really miss it. Looking forward to the Element videos.
You motive me Burch! Glad to see you getting this handled and balancing life with your career. I would like one day to pursue a career making videos for my garage. Cheers!
Wait you're blowing my mind with the Honda Element, I hadn't heard of that car (my brain has been tunnel vision on Dodge Challengers for like a decade). I feel like I could totally use that for pop-up events and turn it into a mobile shop. I've always wanted to make an "armored truck" (but it's for selling my moto armor lol)
An Element would be perfect for that! And I LOVE the “armored truck” concept 😂 Do some research on Elements, but good luck getting out of the rabbit hole lol they have a cult following and people turn them into campers and all sorts of stuff! They’re seriously the coolest cars ever.
I really enjoy ALL of your content. Especially the trips and Vlogs. Maybe it's the fact that I have ADHD that makes me get your content, but it's really good. With that said, I understand the issue you're facing. I've wanted to get my own channel to launch for a long time, but I'm struggling to get the time to film, edit and plan videos. That Honda Element looks amazing. Looks brand new.
I know it would be more work but a few channels I watch that do homesteading have multiple channels for the exact reason your talking about. Maybe a Life of Birch motovlog/travel channel and a Birch Reviews channel? Your one of the reasons I wanted to try and do moto camping videos next year, so I'll be watching what ever you do.
I actually just recently got my motorcycle license because of your channel. From reviews to trip videos to how to install parts on your Rebel. 🤷🏽♂️ I dunno mang, I think you are overthinking it. Your core audience will always hold you down. If you need to take your time to make the videos with the quality you want, then take your time. We are going to watch it. The things you really want, don’t come easy in life. You’re doing great!👍🏽
The Element looks MINT! That's a really neat storage faility, being able to work out of your unit, but under the covered are would be a huge plus! More space, providing the managers don't mind you foing so.
When I got my Rebel 500 and even a bit before, I stumbled upon your videos. I enjoy what you do, and look forward to the 2025 Rebel 1100 if you decide to get it! Cheers!
I did not know that she is a Scot... My Mum was born there and I have been a few times meself. I hope you had fun! Keep up the living of life, the content will sort itself.
I'm having the exact same struggle as a motorcycle youtuber just making channels across ALL of the breadth of motorcycling based on whatever I'm up to. Also struggling with the time creep, every video gets a little better, but every little also seems to take longer and longer..... If you figure out what the right answer is, make a follow up video and let us know. I've only got about 20k subs so I need to learn from those doing it better haha
@@LifeOfBurch The 2024 was used with only 10,000 km. It was a Tour model which I converted to a bagger, but with taller windshield and heated seat along with heated grips. I only put it in the garage for winter 2 days at at +4 degrees celcius. Snow on the ground now: so no riding until next mid April:-(
No lie, I’ve been looking for “the right” Honda Element since 2015 or 2016 😳 I can’t count on both hands how many Elements I went to see in person before getting this one!
They make so much honda camp gear for the element. They have like this roof top attachment and another tent attachment but you gotta get it imported from japan.
At 16:00, are you telling me you like Falling in Reverse? Ronnie puts out every genre of music and doesn't give AF about critics. I was talking to a buddy about doing the "Loneliest Road" ride in the spring. I would like to hit all the lonely roads on the eastern side of the Chesapeake before I GTF out of Maryland. (Crocheron, Wenona, Crisfield and fairy over to Smith Island)
Ronnie’s hilarious and I love watching what he posts on TikTok, but I’ve never been a fan of FIR honestly. The main artist I was talking about is Nothing,Nowhere. Check him out if you haven’t! Heavy stuff, emo stuff, rap stuff, country stuff, little bit everything 🤘🏻
100% if you need help filming or editing let me know. I'm only about 40 min away in Alexandria, and your the only reason i brought my bike up from florida instead of just out right selling it. Including Drone footage!
@@LifeOfBurch Just a heads up though, I got here because I was looking for reviews of the Rebel1100 back in 2021, but I stuck around because of the motovlogs. I love trip content and I don't mind wrench vids or reviews. Its what got me watching Her two wheels and Blockhead. Everyone just seemed chill. Its why I completely stopped watching Yammienoob because constant list content eats your brain (also he's kinda a dick). I have also found that youtube doesn't push motovlog content to me, its always reviews. I have to search for the stuff and it always sends me to places like Freddie Dobbs where its a mix of review and vlog. That algorithm is a monster.
I'm excited for the new Rebel, I'll probably be updating my 2021 to the 2025. I'll look forward to your review, it's because of your videos I got the 500 then the 1100 😊
Yeah it's a pain about how poorly trip videos do and such. I've been wondering what to do a long time now, as I have no way to review bikes over here reliably like I could back in Ireland. Tis a pain, I'm too lazy to split the channel up, buuuuut it's also not my job so I would get it.
Do what's best for you. If splitting the videos into two channels makes more financial sense then do it. I'll subscribe to both as I love all your videos. Keep up the good work!!
Not gunna lie. I sold all three of our rebels for two Harleys and haven’t been around much. What I come back for is seeing what y’all are up too. Follow your heart bro. It ain’t that deep.
If you can swing buying a 2025 Rebel 1100, I think it would be beneficial to the channel (since many people will be searching for that motorcycle when it comes out, so you may get new subscribers.)
Get a small warehouse/Garage. I'm sure there's a tax incentive. you'll have space for all of your UA-cam business i.e editing and working on the bikes. You got this man!
Dude the channel is great. The people who watch you regularly like me like you and how you do things. Make that bread, buy a '25 rebel for the mechanics videos for money. Then take the old one on the road trips. Do what you want to do and people will follow. But plz let us know how that '25 is because im buying one in the spring 👀
@lifeofburch why not do a shorter more day in the life/adventure ride video that you post during the week and then the longer install/longer trip video for Sundays? Sometimes I wonder if you would find success with posting more often like some of the other channels I watch?
Personally, I enjoy watching your different types of videos rather than just one type. I've actually stopped watching other creators because I get bored of the same old videos. I also don't own a rebel. I ride an Indian Scout, I just enjoy your videos. That being said I do understand your point and why you would want to stick to a certain type of video.
Glad you are still sticking with Hondas (even with your car). I have always loved the Element. It's hard to find a good one, they are such a cult vehicle and are in super high demand. (I've owned many Honda cars and that 2.4 engine is bulletproof and in my opinion the best engine they've made.) Good luck with your new vehicle. (BTW many folks on youtube have made some awesome campers out of them too)
Yea it was quite a doozy finding the right Element because they have such a cult following! They’re all either beat to crap and still expecting to get $4k+, or they’re pristine, but thinking they can get $15k+. This one fortunately falls right in the middle. I’m definitely considering a mild camper type build, but that’ll depend what I can work out while still having room for the minimotos 😬🤘🏻
@@LifeOfBurch plus I like the looks of the later years with all the fender panels being the same color of the car rather than the flat black (although I can see their rational for the black fenders for the ease of replacing them.)
1:57 I lowkey feel bad for not reaching out. Part of it is I didn't wanna be bugging ya/a pressure on ya, and part of it was assuming you have your shit handled and you handling it, just that you needed some time away (or maybe going to an every-other Sunday upload schedule gradually, wasn't 100% on that thinking though).
All good brotha! You assumed right. As they say- no news is good news. If my life was falling apart, Patreon would at least know about it at a minimum 😂
You got to where you are, doing what you do. Just keep doing it. If it is no longer fun then it is work. If you do what you love than you will never work in your life. Bunch of cliches but that’s life.
When you do a revue, my broke ass is always thinking "I'll get that someday. And when you do your trips the same idiot lives some of his dreams trough you. If it helps you to split the channel it's ok to do so. A fan from Bulgaria.
Glad to see another video from you; always a great watch. How do you go about your mic not picking up your breathing? I have a movo mic and the quality is amazing but it always picks up my asthmatic breathing. I posted my first motovlog and I got a lot of great feedback but the breathing really stuck out and I’ve been trying different things to remedy it but so far nothings working as well as I would hope it would and it’s getting in the way of me uploading. I’d really appreciate your response and I hope you have a great rest of your week.
Unfortunately, any mic is gonna pick up your breathing and there’s not much you can do about it 😔 I edit out most of my breaths, and honestly kinda change my breathing patterns while filming with that in mind. It’s hard to explain, but like if I know I have a long sentence coming up, I’ll take a bigger than usual breath beforehand to cut down on any unnecessary breathing going on mid-explanation. I have a real ick for mouth sounds in real life, so I do everything I can to mitigate that in my videos lol sounds crazy saying it out loud, but yea…over time I’ve just kinda trained myself to breath different when I’m filming. Also worth mentioning- your videos are SUPPOSED to suck at first. Just keep posting, and find something to improve with each video! I shudder at the thought of watching the first few YEARS of my videos 😅😂
The irony of me posting this 3 hours late 😂
Hey now, I'm loving the timing.
Just got officially off work so, perf timing.

Keep up the good work !
Thank you!! 🙏🏻🙌🏻
And I LOVE the “armored truck” concept 😂
Do some research on Elements, but good luck getting out of the rabbit hole lol they have a cult following and people turn them into campers and all sorts of stuff! They’re seriously the coolest cars ever.
I enjoy your content no matter if it’s a vlog or review!
Hey Burch I’m glad you’re well I’ll be back in DMV in the spring and looking forward to a ride with ya🤟awesome vid bro 😎
I will support both of your channels if you decide to split them, I think it will be a better for you to do so. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the ride through Eastport i haven’t been down there for years
keep up the good work with the editing... I know how you feel in the editing part
That’s the first No Wake Zone I’ve seen in front of a shopping center
Literally though 😂😂😂
The boy has been busy!
No lies detected 😭
I know it would be more work but a few channels I watch that do homesteading have multiple channels for the exact reason your talking about. Maybe a Life of Birch motovlog/travel channel and a Birch Reviews channel? Your one of the reasons I wanted to try and do moto camping videos next year, so I'll be watching what ever you do.
I actually just recently got my motorcycle license because of your channel.
From reviews to trip videos to how to install parts on your Rebel. 🤷🏽♂️
I dunno mang, I think you are overthinking it.
More space, providing the managers don't mind you foing so.
your makin memories buddy dont let your job in the way of that
14:22 BOOM! 💥 you said it yourself! FOLLOW YOUR HEART do what you love!
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Welcome back and I know you I'll be reviewing the new Rebel 1100. I will be waiting because I'm a Rebel girl.
When I got my Rebel 500 and even a bit before, I stumbled upon your videos. I enjoy what you do, and look forward to the 2025 Rebel 1100 if you decide to get it! Cheers!
Should make a mini series called the Wandering Grom, where you load up the Grom and drive somewhere and ride.
I like the "Life" and trips videos over the reviews, but I try to watch them all.
I did not know that she is a Scot... My Mum was born there and I have been a few times meself. I hope you had fun! Keep up the living of life, the content will sort itself.
Living in Scotland i can confirm that the weather this year was really bad. Either raining or windy af.
Life happens, plus instagram showed clearly how busy you’ve been.
Keep killing it dude.
Thanks brotha!! 🙏🏻🤘🏻
@ btw, that element is key dude! Very cool!
I have wanted a Honda Pilot. I am glad you got one. I live near Rockville, and I plan to take a week and just explore northern and western MD.
Really pleased all is well...
I watch because of you, but I get where you are coming from. Good luck with your decision.
Thanks man!! 🙏🏻
I didnt even know I was subscribed, but I look forward to future videos!
Ayy I appreciate ya! 🙌🏻🤘🏻
sad to report I sold my 2021 Rebel 1100 DCT. I bought a used 2024 Goldwing DCT and I am one very happy rider:-)
Ayy congrats!! What an upgrade! 🙌🏻 🎉
@@LifeOfBurch The 2024 was used with only 10,000 km. It was a Tour model which I converted to a bagger, but with taller windshield and heated seat along with heated grips. I only put it in the garage for winter 2 days at at +4 degrees celcius. Snow on the ground now: so no riding until next mid April:-(
Never seen anyone so excited for a Honda Element! lol
No lie, I’ve been looking for “the right” Honda Element since 2015 or 2016 😳 I can’t count on both hands how many Elements I went to see in person before getting this one!
@@LifeOfBurch Not gonna lie, I was impressed when you showed the interior. The open rear and suicide doors is pretty sick haha
I was the same way with my Honda Element and my Grom. It’s a sweet combo. The Honda Element is a great vehicle, very utilitarian indeed
Honda element is badass- I would be excited as well
Great video Burch !!! 🤙🏽
Thanks Marvin!! 😬🤘🏻
Congrats on the honda element!
Im looking forward to the Reading Pagoda video
I’m really excited for that one! Not looking likely that I’ll end up with that drone footage though 😂
I live 15 minutes from the Pagoda!! Would have loved to link up while you were up here!
100% if you need help filming or editing let me know. I'm only about 40 min away in Alexandria, and your the only reason i brought my bike up from florida instead of just out right selling it. Including Drone footage!
Put a sticker on that Element! "Life of Burch"
Look at me being here early af lol. Thats a first. I just figured you guys were on vacation.
Ayy my guy!! 🙏🏻🤘🏻
The Honda Element is such an underated vehicle
Do what's best for you. If splitting the videos into two channels makes more financial sense then do it. I'll subscribe to both as I love all your videos. Keep up the good work!!
Not gunna lie. I sold all three of our rebels for two Harleys and haven’t been around much.
What I come back for is seeing what y’all are up too. Follow your heart bro. It ain’t that deep.
Next time you're in Scotland, you need to do the nc500.. and include the lock Ness monster x
If you can swing buying a 2025 Rebel 1100, I think it would be beneficial to the channel (since many people will be searching for that motorcycle when it comes out, so you may get new subscribers.)
“Everyone’s so nice here because they’re frickin’ loaded.” 😂
It’s true! 😂
Get a small warehouse/Garage. I'm sure there's a tax incentive. you'll have space for all of your UA-cam business i.e editing and working on the bikes. You got this man!
0:01 I thought that was a lake behind you. Then I realized it was a parking lot.
Ended up buying a FXLRS instead of the Rebel 1100, but still looking forward to the new 2025 1100 content.
That's a good series of books. I've enjoyed Sarah J Maas stuff. Her Catwoman book was pretty cool, too.
Thanks dude, I appreciate you!! 🙏🏻🤘🏻
I think your on to something, it’s like the difference between bikes and beards and srk cycles channels
Thank you I really appreciate the response. I’ll keep that in mind in the future.
BUSY life.. of Burch. But it sounds like REAL fun in REAL life.
That Pagoda in Amish country... comin next week... Reading, PA?!?
Burch….my favorite brave woman. 😂🤘🏼
Lmaaooo 😂😂😂
Imagine the confusion from people who read that comment, but don’t watch til the end hahah
