i'm liking the new battle system so far, having a duo in one unit makes the battles pretty interesting

question, if your units die here in classic do they stay dead? and if so what reasoning do they have for this mock battle to kill your units if its just training?

I know it's late, but putting it here for reference. Framme got smacked in one hit by Lumera on my playthrough (Hard/Classic) and she came back Chapter 3.

Also characters that still have plot relevance who "die" will technically just suffer some injury that prevent them from doing any more fighting but let them still appear in the cut scenes they're supposed to.
