and my personal favourite: fulfills his life-long dream of becoming a nobleman, only to be so shit at managing things, that he gets demoted to a symbolic position, spending the rest of his life complaining to new recruits about the glory days.
- laments the death of his childhood friend, changes from an easygoing personality to a more serious and sort of uptight one, names his firstborn son after his friend, and becomes an alcoholic wooooo go gray
You're mixing up the 2 versions of Gray, I think. Gaiden Gray becomes an alcoholic if Tobin dies, SoV Gray marries Claire and names their son after Tobin.

@@irmatrubura4620 IIRC, Nino is a weird case in that she is actually a high tier character, but you get her so late in the game and at such a low level that for most people it's just not worth the extra effort to realize her potential when you've probably already committed to Erk, Priscilla, or Pent well before you got her, all the enemies you're fighting are levels above her, and you've only got a handful of maps left.
@@irmatrubura4620 Typically she's known as the "Est" type character - a late game low level unit that turns out good if you take the time to level them.
Yeah, uh, no. Nino requires far too much investment for what she gives to your army. You’ll have to spend 1-3 maps training her up and only her, and when you’re done, and minus a guiding ring, you now have a slightly better pent. Who joins earlier. Prepromoted. She’s like erk if erk joined a bunch of chapters later.
shadowofchaos725 TBH even if he promoted before getting the Binding Blade, he'd still be pretty bad IMO. Footlock, swordlock, and pretty bad base stats.
shadowofchaos725 I agree. I mean I still like Roy despite how bad he is in Binding Blade mainly due to Smash Bros nostalga but I dont like how late he promotes T.T
jrhamari Roy doesn’t promote until there are only about 4 maps left. So for more than 20+ chapters, Roy will remain unprompted while your other characters will become much stronger. In addition, if you failed to unlock any of the Gaiden [extra] chapters and or have any of the legendary weapons from said chapter break, your screwed from getting at least the good ending of Binding Blade, meaning you’ll only have ONE chapter with a promoted Roy if I recall correctly.
Jared Fayette I remember reading that. Yeah they really screwed Roy over. which is sad because like I said I really like him. Thats why I hope they remake FE6 and 7 so that they can have Roy promote earlier, Like say after you get the final legendary weapon.
1. His hair is actually leaning more towards green than blue. It's inbetween. 2. He's not a magical albino whatsover, even after the magical hair dye comes out
And then the endings be like Childhood friend would continue studying magic for the rest of his life, but the one thing he could never learn was how to get laid. Red cavalier would continue to serve his kingdom, training new recruits to the royal knights. He also never got laid. Green cavalier died alone. Fat Vaike returned to the streets that raised him alongside his husband, Random Old Guy. Crappy archer: (died in chapter 3) Cleric goes on to become a priest in her hometown church. Lame. Knight hit on many women but failed to find true love (this is quite literally just Gatrie’s ending in FE10). Featherweight was revered throughout the royal army for her kindness and skill on the battlefield. Unfortunately, she was not revered enough to find a mate. Cute Mage would go on to marry the avatar character. Huh. Furry returned to his native land and reconnected with his own kind. He never married, but he definitely got laid. Definitely Illegal entered a polygamous marriage with Fat Vaike and Random Old Guy, and somehow no one questioned it. When peace once again settled on the land, Magical Albino packed lightly, and set off with the only person they ever trusted. Wait, this sounds kinda familiar. Blue Haired Lord hopped on a ship and left the continent, never to be seen or heard from agai- yeah we did this already.

Waiting for the next couple games to release characters like Isbas and Ically Apparently I posted this reply on the wrong comment before but only noticed just now when someone liked it-
Auberon Sylveon Okay, yeah, I guess they do have uses, but I think there’s postives and negatives to all weapon classes. Personally, though, the fact that bow users get mauled at close range makes me a little hesitant to use them in battle.
The character's name in the video was "Lamus". Change one letter and you get "Camus", the archetype known for putting their country before all else and dying as a result. They know their liege is in the wrong, but they're honor bound to serve them and so they do so to the end.
Mustafa's a bit different. If he had an actual choice in the matter, he'd defect from Plegia in a heartbeat. Emmeryn's speech really got to him. He feels no loyalty towards Plegia or Gangrel. Gangrel's a monster; he's constantly threatening the families of Mustafa and his men. Mustafa doesn't want to fight the Shepards, but does so out of fear of Gangrel's retribution. There's not typically anything stopping a character like Camus from defecting except their own pride and honor. Camus could have easily surrendered to Marth's army in Shadow Dragon, but he didn't because he felt it was his duty to serve Grust no matter what. Even though Nyna was safe, and even though they loved each other, Camus stubbornly refused to surrender. Xander is also like this but fuck Fates so I don't feel like talking about him.
KinglyPeasant Yeah, the second one is pretty much me. Got into the game for the completely wrong reason according to the fandom. I was interested in the characters and the lore. At least for the most current games excluding Shadow Dragon (DS) and Echoes. I tried doing the first fire emblem that came out for the Gameboy, but I failed harder than the time I tried Super Robot Taisen. I have some patience considering the fact I play Pokémon, but I almost never lose in Pokémon, so my temper got the better of me when it came to losing my units.
Axes in general are considered the top weapon type together with lances, if a sword unit can't use lances or axes at least after promotion they normally are considered rather meh unless they got bonkers stats
Assuming Not Lyn (Lord) wasn't wounded, I'm surprised at Suspicious Vizier was able to do 47 (35 HP + 12 Res) damage to be able to one shot Lord. She probably has a dark personal tome and let's give it 18 Mt, that's the same Mt as the S rank dark tome in FE6 Apocalypse not counting it's +5 to the users magic stat, that would mean at Vizier has magic stat at least 29
Wouldn't it be 48, due to her gaining a hit point from levelling up? It's been a while since I played FE (about a year, maybe?), so I don't recall if units heal 1 hit point whenever they gain 1 maximum hit point, but I'd assume they do.
You forgot the one weak character that you get near the beginning that you have to work hard to keep alive and suddenly they become one of the most badass units.

Depends on how you use them. turn an Archer into a Sniper and you have yourself Death at far range because of their ridiculous range and crit stat.
FusionBolt27 Remember Rolf from Radiant dawn?
Auberon Sylveon Only in Fates.
That was glorious. But "secretly" a dating simulator? Fates sure doesn't hide it.

Axes aren't the problem
Axes having so many crappy units as users is the problem.
Hector: I disagree!
"I'm going to die so you feel bad"
-Lloyd and Linus.
Also, Nino and Jaffar OTP.
.........*CAMUS*. Lloyd and Linus aren't part of the Camus archetype.
I think it means more the Yen'Fay type, AKA the obviously good guys who you have to kill because plot.
The character's name in the video was "Lamus". Change one letter and you get "Camus", the archetype known for putting their country before all else and dying as a result. They know their liege is in the wrong, but they're honor bound to serve them and so they do so to the end.
->That one boss dude in the rainy map in Awakening.

Yeah, the second one is pretty much me.
"And the bad one" (Shows Hector) I would like to say how wrong that is, because Hector was a goddamn monster in human form.
Axes in general are considered the top weapon type together with lances, if a sword unit can't use lances or axes at least after promotion they normally are considered rather meh unless they got bonkers stats
Hector is god
Oh also my pic
the problem is that axes have great damage, and they have infinite durability because they never hit

THEY DON'T WORK ON ME!
I remember this well XD
Vaike is legitimately one of my favorite characters in Awakening and will not stand for the slander against him... I will sit for it though
On the Bench?
oh god, not the hanako profile T^T
Assuming Not Lyn (Lord) wasn't wounded, I'm surprised at Suspicious Vizier was able to do 47 (35 HP + 12 Res) damage to be able to one shot Lord. She probably has a dark personal tome and let's give it 18 Mt, that's the same Mt as the S rank dark tome in FE6 Apocalypse not counting it's +5 to the users magic stat, that would mean at Vizier has magic stat at least 29
Thanks
This comment is severely underrated.
Look at Limstella, Lyon, Sonia or Ursula's stats, that doesn't seem unrealistic...
it sounded like a crit so that probably helped.
Wouldn't it be 48, due to her gaining a hit point from levelling up? It's been a while since I played FE (about a year, maybe?), so I don't recall if units heal 1 hit point whenever they gain 1 maximum hit point, but I'd assume they do.

She's basically Lyn from Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken/Blazing Blade/No subtitle for the Gameboy Advanced.
Ya coulda just said Lyn.
Fair enough. Everyone I talk to about that game hasn't played it or doesn't know about it though, so I always end up having to specify.
Must be talking to the casuals. With feh especially now, lyn is stupid popular.
"Does anybody want to use the old man?"
I mean, Athos was pretty boss.
You forgot the one weak character that you get near the beginning that you have to work hard to keep alive and suddenly they become one of the most badass units.
