  • I will cover about 80% of this pedal and its features in this video as well as i understand it at this time , over all its awesome but there is a learning curve and this video will help you with that and get you going on the right track for sure, no other videos have really dont what i have here for you guys. and i have to say i was even frustrated as hell with this thing but after i slept on it over night i was able to get things going and its great sometimes it pays to just walk away for a bit then come back to it a day or so later .. no other videos were able to even help me out with the problems i encountered trying to get things going, enjoy the video please rate and sub for more videos a like is also good to .. anyhow happy looping
    All my videos are uploaded with Standard youtube license and are not to be downloaded or reuploaded ...all music in my video's including my intro is my music written by me .. if i catch you using anyparts of any of my videos or music or the entirity of my vidoes and music you will be going to court and facing charges so think first before doing so ..

    I've had mine for over 9 months now, was going to incorporate it into my solo gig, but the paper instructions and youtube videos sucked so I boxed it back up and put it in my gear bag. Until I found your video my new best friend. I'm a newbie at loopers. There is a Facebook page, The Acoustic & Electric Loop Station page for which I have posted a link to your video so that others can watch your wonderful information. If this is not acceptable, please let me know immediately and I will remove it. I'm thinking I can have this device on my music stand or some other type of mounted side stand then have my two pedals that I bought to help start/stop and change channels on the floor to control the Loop Core. What are your thoughts? What are anybody's thoughts? What's everyone else doing? If I get to work more with the pedal then I'll post to The Acoustic & Electric Loop Station Facebook page. Thank you for this video, Sir! David in South Carolina

      May I pick your brain? At 7:27 in your video you are at rhythm track 3, then you press stop, then you scroll to track 1, you then press the rhythm button and track 3 rhythm starts playing but track 1 is in the display. That's a question as to how this is possible. But then I press and hold the rhythm button and it now displays 3 on the screen. I'm missing something here. Does it explain this in the instructions and where if so? It apparently does this with any numbered track then by pressing the "Hold for Type" button the screen reverts back to 1 then by pressing start again the other track plays, not 1 as we know it. Explain please. Thank you so much. Keep in mind I'm fairly competent, in IT telecom and can maneuver around some things but this is a different beast.

    I am curious as to weather or not will it take a mic on the IN and dub singing, rapping or whatever as an method to create an audio CD. I have found that the files are clear when formatted for zip files. I think there were over 8000 song files formatted for storage and then you format all files to specified by nuxefx.com before sending them to the device. They make nice software for digital mixers and studio editing and mastering.

      If you are running the pedal through an amp’s effect loop, yes. The pedal will record whatever tone you are using, then you can overdub using a different tone, and so on. But again, this is only achievable when you use an amp’s effect loop.

      for that you would have to do seperate phrasing , now if you want to do more then one over dub per tack and you want to get rid of the last one you do then you can other wise you have to do the seperate phrasing

  • @FunkyELF

    Their manual doesn't state that you have to have your loop stopped if you want to save. It simply says "Once you have created a music loop, you can save it to memory". Says nothing about having to stop your loop. This makes it a bad choice for doing anything live... or even by yourself in your home it's annoying.

    Just got mine. It seems the volume adjustment for the drum (Rhythm) tracks has a very low threshold. When I use a drum track and turn the inner volume off (about 6:35 on the dial) there is no volume as you would expect. A slight turn to 6:40 already has the rhythm volume up to about 80%. The 1st (metronome) setting is the worst. It's like an instant on at about the 6:38 position of the inner dial. It is hard to dial it down without completely taking it to zero.
    Is this unique to my Nux Loop Core are are you having the same problem? I can return it to Amazon for a limited time but I don't want to do this - then get a new one only to notice that this how it was (bizarrely) designed.
    As for the loop volume, it works as expected unless you download a jam track (WAV file) or some such recording from your computer. These are stored in the loop folders not the rhythm banks; thus, the volume is controlled by the loop volume knob. It is therefore difficult to attain the right mix with your guitar which uses the same volume control. I have also noticed the "instant on" condition with downloaded tracks.
    Thanks for your video!

      o get a louder playback you need to have the levels up and it is best to use the pedla on a seperate amp if you can or PA system it will sound better threw a PA for sure either way on a guitar amp with your guitar in it you do have the have the levels up to record and for play back then adjust them if you need to to balance the mix out yout guitar needs to get over the drums but not drown out the drums

    Just got my NUX Loop Core and was doing ok with overdubs, but then the playback started resetting after every 20 seconds. I checked the battery that came with the new unit and it was only reading 8 volts so I replaced it with a new one reading 9.6 volts but that didn't fix the problem. I tried other channels but keep getting the same symptom. It is pretty useless if I can only record 20 second loops! I will check NUX website to see if they have any fixes for this type of problem before I reset to factory defaults. But I doubt that will fix this either. This acts like a bad capacitor is one of the audio circuits. Not sure what the warranty is on these. Thanks for the quick demo.

      id rest the pedal first and use a power supply instead of the battery i have a power supply on mine is no problems. when you record with the pedal you can do full length songs 6 hours worth or you can do the loops with the song id record the song first then place your loops where you need them on the playback area's try that see how it does ..

    I realize this video was posted two years ago but I’m not seeing any updates so I just want to point out that you don’t have to work on your timing for this pedal. In the instructions it tells how to set up automatic recording. That way when you hit the record button it will wait until it hears your guitar, or whatever input you’re using, before it starts to record. Also, the drums won’t start until you start playing. That way you can have continuous loops without a stop in them.

      dont know but what i do know is the pedal has a usb that you can hook to your computer to transfer files so it makes sence that the aux port being that it is for input can be used in the same manner but without the need for a computer

    Hello,
    Real nice tutorial, worth looking at before purchase, and I agree the documentation needs to be downloaded to get a grasp of what that little thing can do.
    I have one question, there is an audio stereo input, do you know if the device will record the audio of both the stereo in and the mono jack in? The manual it can record the audio stereo in, but both at the same time I don’t know.
    I am looking to purchase this for my kids, with one having a synth and the other a guitar. Just trying to check if I can wire everything once ( the synth on the stereo in and the guitar on the mono jack) and let them have fun (I foresee a big fun mess ) without plug-in/unplug in every thing.
    I know I could use a DAW, but looking for some looping fun without having to carry a computer all the time
    Thanks again for the effort putting that video together.
    Stéphane

    Hello, just wanted to ask you, can this pedal be used for audio stems, or synth as back tracks while playing in a live show? So basically can there be imported every .wav file that has the supported bit depth and play it as any normal player would do? And if so is it practical? Latency or things like that? Thnx for the video

      any sound file format that the pedal supports can be loaded in for playback yes, and if it works for you then yes its usefull

    3 questions!
    Do I need to choose the tempo before recording OR does this adapt the bpm to the loop length?
    Does this time stretch when changing tempo?
    Does the 9v battery get sucked even when cables aren't plugged in?
    PS
    What is phrasing & are the outputs line?

    • @KevinMillard68
      @KevinMillard68  4 роки тому

      you can use an external power supply as well but the battery is not affected as long as the cables are not pluged in if you leave them in then yup it sucks them dry , as for tempo you set it if your using the built in drums to what you want then you do your thing other wise you can do your thing and save it then just play back hit the tempo for the kit your using for drums and slow or speed up according to what you recorded , and no it does not strech when changing the temp your loop is your loop length the drums play as along as its playing or you can stop the drums when ever you want .. if this does not suit you then i would sudjest the beat buddy original and then use this pedal for loops only or record full songs to each memeory bank of 99 that it has you have 6 hours of recording time that you can access total any way you want to use it so its upto you

    • @KevinMillard68
      @KevinMillard68  6 років тому

      you could make up your own rythm and add it into .one of the memory banks for play back

    • @nicolasacunaluongo4217
      @nicolasacunaluongo4217 6 років тому

      Yes, but what about the sync? I mean, when I add a rythm to an existent recording, the rythm automatically adjust with the recording tempo. Could this work if I follow what you are saying?

    Very nice tutorial. I've had my pedal for 24 hours now and have been able to make a usable loop and I've saved it. One thing that I can see now is that it would be great if there was a way to visually see the beginning and ending of your loop. The RC-1 does this. Not many others do. You need to put some kind of a tag that you can hear in the loop that will que you for when to start your over dub.
