Thanks for doing a good review of this, much better than other reviews on this pedal that I've seen, I should have one of these pedals arriving in the post tomorrow :)
Ryan K. Creates yeah a lot of fun, had it two days now and it's so easy to work, I just need to get tighter in my timing and better at my playing but it's helping my overall playing improve in a short time, definitely a useful tool :)
Thanks, for the video on the NUX Looper... you provided the best demo tutorial on the web for this pedal and how it actually works. Every other video I checked out. It seemed like the vid host was only demo-ing their guitar skills. So, again...Thank you.
I have exactly same pedal. I really love it but there is a small issue. I copied a backing track to play along. If i turn loop volume knob all the way down, backing track is not playing as it should be. If i slightly turn the volume knob up, backing track starts to play immediately but volume is way too high. There is no in between. My question is, is your Nux is behaving same or mine is defective?
Thanks for the great demo. How does it work with the rhythm though... If you are playing with a bunch of effects obviously the rhythm goes through them, does the secondary out allow it to bypass the effect loops?
300mA...? :o The RC-3 is rated at 70mA and 3 hours (most of the Boss Pedals I looked at were under 100mA current draw). A typical 9v battery is 500mAh but you only get about half of that which means *under* an hour of life on a battery. Have you tested battery life? Thanks!
Just get a usb to 9v adapter (make sure you get the correct diameter size) and you can use a power bank if you're not close to a power source. I did this for my wifi router in India because the power drops out almost every day at some point
They're specifying the PSU supply and being conservative, not the current draw. It draws about the same as the RC-3. In essence it's an RC-3 clone for about a 1/3 of the price of the BOSS looper. Both have been since superseded by newer models.
sorry. it may seem a lame question. but what does it mean when you say 300 milliamp output? should i check something on my guitar or amplifier? thanks in advance
@@_armanshikalgar Hi. Well, if you're in a pinch money wise, I'd say go for it, but my issue with it was memory. I ran out of space pretty fast 🙈 I'm not sure what the memory is like for the deluxe though. Also, I thought it would be worth it to buy a Boss RC 3 (I still haven't), because the rest of my pedals are Boss, a delay & a reverb, for it to all be uniform. So happy with them, got them secondhand.
Demo begins at 1:49
1:47 is where he insecurely apologizes for the brightness and then be sure not to miss the hydrohomie swig at 6:56
Just bought mine a few days ago! Funny jump cuts, and wonderful tone. Love your sound bro-bro!
Thanks!! I really want to get back into making videos and this is really encouraging!
Loved your loop!

Glad you ordered one! It's so much fun. Let me know what you think!

Thank for the tips
You don't have new videos bro. Only 3 years ago. What's up? Hope you doing ok.

may I transfer my loops in my computer?
Yes
Can U tell me how u got that guitar tone?? (Strat? Pedals etc?)
that sounded a lot like modest mouse xD
I want this!!!!
Thanks
great video. Its $ 96 here in the Philippines at Lazada.com and shopee.com
Haha I thought it was pronounced nucks instead of new x too!
I genuinely thought it was nucks... I'm just gonna stick with it now for consistency.
Lmao, btw tight indie loop man
I called it 'Nucks' for years... then heard the actual pronunciation. 'New X' does sound much better lol.

pinback?

no, thats the required amperage for the power supply.....
The pedal requires a 300 milliamperes capable output power supply.
"New X"
it's pronounced like New X
When did Mcculley Culkin start a youtube channel??? Respect!!!
OMG! harry potter plays guitar!?!?
OMG! Fat obnoxious baby in a youtube comments section!?!?
NU X
500 times better then the boss RC-3 and way cheaper and more features as well
I've been using it for a year, and was thinking of switching over to the Boss RC-3... Maybe I'm not thinking straight.
@@nonebutmyself7454 I'm planning to buy the deluxe one. Any words of wisdom you could share? Like Don't buy it coz.... Or Buy it coz...?

@@_armanshikalgar The nux (deluxe) is a mono looper, the boss rc3 is stereo. Stereo comes in handy when connecting other devices then a guitar to it.
Nu X
Lazy vid...
