I'll be doing an update video later after my application for NBI clearance has been approved 🙏 and I've had some queries clarified at the immigration centre.

Those departments have websites to review to get information before hand.
If you are going to official government departments. Do you not think bringing along passports would be prudent?

I wanted to get some information first and I find it easier talking to someone face to face instead of scouring the internet. There's a lot of information to search for online. The websites don't tell you everything and I still have questions about the forms so I'll be going back again. I'll do a video update.

Not too sure but that's pretty typical. Most PR have renewal conditions in other countries. It's an automatic process, just pay the fee (unfortunately)

Keep us updated on the process. I thought I read you got to get some kind of medical clearance too or something like that

I read that too, when the process was done from another country. I haven't fully read the forms yet. I'll get to it this weekend. Will update you later.

@@ChasingTheSun1967 There is no medical clearance required. The NBI check is mandatory!!! Take all your paperwork (most important is your passport and PSA marriage license) and have several passport photos with you. Be prepared for NBI to take multiple photos themselves and also both electronic and paper fingerprints.
Save up pesos for airfare to either Cebu or Manila for your interview. Bring lots of photos of your married life together.
I used a very reputable Visa Consulting service for well under 40,000p and removed all chances of my application being rejected for any silly mistake on my paperwork. Plus they provided special care (priority) on our interview and biometrics in the Philippine Immigration office. I had NO sleepless nights worrying about the 13a visa process failing.
Good luck and keep us posted.
