6:34 when the snow plows the snow plow, you know it is heavy snow lol.
Now, I commend the city for acknowledging this man and wanting first-hand experience with what the grunt workers do behind the scenes the the brass usually takes the credit for. Trust me, I plow snow in the winter for my local government and even the main man actually comes out and helps us. That, to me, is the way things should operate. So, thank you to all that of the grunt workers out there that try to keep up with these conditions and thank you to all of those in suits that appreciate what we do...to the rest of you that benefit from our long and tiring hours out here keeping you safe, give us a break as well. You don't know what its like until you do our public works jobs or DOT, and mine extends to water and sewer. So, be kind and thank a worker like us if you know someone.
Plowed roads for 23 years, not as easy as it looks. Plowing in the dark and in a storm on country roads. Is a lot different than in a city
I prefer the country roads, wide open with drifts is better than a one lane road with cars on both sides. I hate plowing in the city (Milwaukee).
Keep up the good work. I did it for 25 years and retired last year
Hello from P.EI Canada! Love the channel
Good video 👍👌
THAT'S MY BROTHER!!
jabjab poor you looks like a goof
BUDDY IS LIKE GET THE HECK OUT OF THAT SEAT ALREADY LOL
New Milford is has a fantastic public works crew
Sharp truck!
Wonderful video
Been plowing for NYSDOT for 9 years, I’m so done with this job. The pay sucks being that I live in the section of New York with the highest taxes. Not the job for a married homeowner who wants to have children. I’ve been applying for the nearby school districts for a groundskeeper position that pays much more than a DOT foreman’s starting salary
My dad as plowed for a long time and still does
Interesting "grader" blade under the truck! I wonder when or how that's useful.
Love it
Alright who farted at the 7:49 mark?? Lol
9SecondStreetMustang ahhhahahaha
9SecondStreetMustang g
9SecondStreetMustang he hit the horn
Mason Lynch no that was not the horn
Honest Mike it was the ghost of the DPW Commissioner that died...
My town should do this lol
In my city the snow plows are large and small and some don’t got one at all
Enjoyed🚜🇺🇸🎅🎄👍
Minnesota's snow is horrible im from there
Iowa gets snow every year but this year why we don't know this climate is so messed up that we don't understand why we didn't get none.
I'm also in MN - Fun to see these videos. I will be doing Plowing for the first time with year. I already purchased my Boss plow, but I need to get it setup on my 2020 F350. I sure hope I can learn this! lol // New friend here please feel free to check out my stuff if you get the chance
@9SecondStreetMustang I heard that to I was about to say something
Well, he’s better than the dude who plowed my street and tore up part of my front yard when there was 1 inch of snow on the ground.
is that truck not a 4x4?
Patrick Whelan I doubt it is, yours are not at my local road commission. Tighter turning radius with 2wd and way cheaper. Lots of traction on drive tires as long as there is weight in the box.
Patrick Whelan most of the trucks in the town i live in dont use 4wd unless completely necessary. steep hills up or down or when there is a heavy amount of snowfall per hour.
i plow for my town in my personal 3500 and i just put counterweight in the bed and i cant remember a time this year that ive needed/wanted to put my truck in 4wd. less wear and tear on transmisson and front end if you dont need to use it.
My town used a 6x6 Paystar 5000 with chains until last year
Very doubtful. I work for a company that makes and mounts snow removal equipment. I don't think I've ever seen a 4x4 (or 6x6 since we do mostly 3 axel trucks) in the shop.
Why is the plow white? youd think orange for safety being its white everywhere during snow storms
Sharon Mount our DPW trucks are dark colors.
I got next
No Todd?
10x10
Hyundai all izz SDK metalwork hyperspectral
How much pee hour$?

Why do snow plows have to push the snow into my drive way? I don't want to shovel Every time I wake up.
Becuase where else should it go? You can shovel it away to the sides. You have like 4 meters to shovel.
The snow plow has to push it to the side so it goes away from the road. Probably badly explained since english isn't my native language.
You explained it fine, but seriously every time i wake up i DO NOT want to shovel. im going to start caling the company that snowplows in my city and tell them to either stop it or shovel it.
a youtube account they’re doing there job that’s why.. don’t want it to happen then you ain’t getting to work my friend
Maybe don’t get your driveway done when they’re still plowing! lol I can’t believe you even thought of calling the town to tell them about it.. guess what once again they’re doing there jobs to keep the towns people moving
he's obviously not from minnesota. it's part of life here. deal with it.
