    It’s amazing how you were able to cut the ice without putting your conditioner even close to the surface 😂

    oh breamar, how I miss thee...
    How I used to drive your zambonies in circles relatively quickly...
    There I learnt how to break on ice with a quick pump of the pedal,
    As to not crash, and give the conditioner a smash.
    Though I went fast, I rarely missed a pass...
    leaving crystal clear pools as I hit the gas.
    On and off in 7, instead of 15
    giving a little extra time to the peewee hockey team.
    In case any of you oldies are here in the comments.
    Perhaps you might remember me, I went by morty.

    Great video. Cool gal who knows her stuff. Nice rink too. Once you make your passes around the outside one can make left handed turns. I do it all the time for fun. To the comments below its called a dry cut and why would the conditioner be on the nice when the guy is driving the machine around making a video?

      That is a public rink they are in it for the profit.. This rink is for professional sports they need really fresh ice or nobody would go there...

      @@NNTGR-yo2ec I don't know of any pro sports in breamar, but yeah, they do charge for ice time and no one would buy a sheet of ice if not fresh...

    Do they recycle the snow? Like let it melt, run it through filters and reapply the water?

      No, they put it either in a stainless steel melter bin and put it in the sewer system, or they let it melt on an asphalt serface outside
      Edit: surface

    • @jonm3024
      @jonm3024 4 роки тому

      no... it just goes down the drain....

    • @jonm3024
      @jonm3024 4 роки тому +1

      you dump the snow into this big water pit where it will eventually melt on its own and turn into water which gets displaced by more snow and then overflows and goes down the drain. The water they put on the ice is tap water... filtered if I remember right, as to make clearer ice.
