- What’s going on guys and welcome to todays update on Scream 7. So it’s been a good while since my last video, but I’m happy to say I’m back on track with everything that has happened since that last update, along with some new pieces of information that may not be well known at the moment. Now as always these are rumours and speculation and should be taken as such unless stated otherwise. Nothing here is official, it’s all just speculation. So I’m just going to just dive straight in because there’s a lot to discuss today;

I hope Sidney is the central character and there is less focus on this nanny and her friends. The whole point of bringing Neve Campbell back was for her to be the star, so I would prefer it if they concentrated on characters related to Sidney's life.
imagine if the scream 7 story is actually happening the same time as scream 6, but obviously elsewhere. would be a cool way around the melissa and jenna drama and why we didn’t see gale at the end.
One thing they could do that hasn’t been done is have one of the killers survive/maybe even the audience knows who they are by the end of the film, but Sidney doesn’t know, possibly isn’t aware of their involvement and that killer carries into a sequel/part 8. Mirroring what Kevin wanted to do with Jill in his story for Scream 5

As Sam says in Scream 6, "what if he gets to win this time? Would love to see a Ghostface survive and carry into the next film. Sets up a cat and mouse sequel where Sidney is hunting down the killer.

This movie sounds like it could be great. The only thing I have a hard time buying is Sidney hiring a nanny. Ain’t no way in hell Sid’s hiring some teenage rando to watch her kids.

I just want a really dark / strong motive not some random teens being angry - lol. But so far, all the rumours surrounding the Scream 7 plot are so damn promising!
Im looking forward to it but come on Sidney knows better than to hire a nanny, that's some psycho killer just getting a golden ticket handed to them.
That was my first thought. No way in hell Sidney is getting some teenager to watch her kids. I doubt it’s going to be as straight forward as it seems. That would be a little too far fetched.

I think the potential cliffhanger could be a killer that get away from Sidney and that Sidney will face that killer head on in Scream 8. Rumor has it, if Scream 7 seceeds (which it most likely will) the studio is thinking about doing another Sidney Prescott Trilogy. So Neve could already have a contract for that. Only time will tell.

@@mihaelism could be I never surprisingly thought of that idk why tho it just usually characters are always meant to die but then again it can be a red herring and who knows the character could potentially be one of the Ghostface’s.
Judy Greer would be obvious if she be Ghostface she already played one of the main werewolves in Cursed.

Really excited for this. A Sydney-focused Scream is a really exciting prospect.
These story rumors are interesting, (even though I'm still unhappy with Spyglass) I'm pretty excited to how Kevin and Co. "Fix" the storyline and the direction they're planning on going
I just really hope the killers/Motive have nothing to do with Stab
It would be awesome if they revealed at the end that 1 unknown killer is still out there
Wouldnt it be interesting if the events of scream 7 are happening simultaneously as scream 6, or at least cross over as in maybe it starts with all the stuff happening to Sidnet in her absence of scream 6 and then in the middle or a little bit in Sid meets Gale in hospital. Would also confirm there where multiple Ghostfaces attacking at the same time.

The ending sounds like one of the killers will either escape or get arrested at the end
I feel that the "open door" will be that the killings will be revealed and framed as one killer, that killer gets killed only for the ending to cycle through something we would normally see in an opening scene - a phone call and a killer targeting someone with that kill upping the stakes for the next film (or not even a kill, a phone call to Sidney would suffice).
Surprise Sydney is Stu Machers voice would be awesome!

That story is finished 😂👍. It sucked and was lame and uninteresting anyway 😂🤷. The franchise is saved thanks to Kevin and Neve, it's brought back to life
Sid and Mark must've waited quite a bit before having kids if it's all these years later and their kids are still young enough to need a nanny. Did she mention having kids when she was in Scream 5?
There's a scene when Dewey called her, she said she was trying to get a run before taking the girls to school. She had one in a stroller during the scene

I feel like every time there’s a sequel coming out the cliffhanger rumors start. I doubt they’d do that. It’s a deviation from what works in this franchise, and they don’t even know if this movie will do well enough to warrant another one.

One thing that has not been done has been two separate killers with different motives and unaware of the others actions
They kinda gave us a glimpse of that in Scream 6

I love Judy Greer but she was the villian in cursed, redeemed villian in Jawbreaker and was a victim in Halloween. I need her to do something comoketely different if she's going to be in it. Kinda glad it she slid through. Also, I don't see Sid getting a Nanny. The amount of PTSD she has, the fact shs chose to stay in hiding eith her cop husband.... I don't sed her trusting the mother in law yet alone anyone to be her kid's nanny.

I would love for the next installment after this one to be about Maureens past in Hollywood and that night of her death even bring Roman back as he doesn’t get enough respect as the only single handed ghostface and the closest to the main character he had the most valid motive now they have the deaging effect so it would be cool to finally see the backstory of how this all started play out
I'd think it would be interesting if one of the killers was a main character (since we have three) with legitly good motives.
I don't think Stu should be the mastermind killer, but I think it could be a son or daughter of Stu's that basically blames Sydney for their life being terrible before hand. The main character killer wouldn't have to be the mastermind killer, but I think this could easily make sense.

If they have thoughts of reconciling with Melissa and are in favor of bringing them back for scream 8 then im in full favor of them setting scream 7 around the same time as scream 6 which would make sense as to why only gale is coming back (maybe she has a minor role where we hear her phone call with Sid tell Sid that ghost face attacks are starting up in New York and she warns Sid to take her fam somewhere safe). Then scream 8 can take place a few years later after, let's say, one of the killers survived (without anyone knowing) and got away or they got caught by police which would be a great cliffhanger for scream 7. At first I was totally against this movie but if everything that has been mentioned so far turns out to be true and if done right, then I truly think a lot of fans would still be pleased with the movie despite the mess that transpired last year. The damage has already been done but it's not too late to make up for it by making a great movie and hopefully down the line also reconcile with Melissa so that the core four can come back for the great finale!

I’m not a fan of Judy Greer, but if she’s casted in Scream 7 the best role for her would be a Karen type of character that’s a red herring that gets killed off by a Ghostface.
Kinda similar to Rebecca (Sidney’s publicist) in Scream 4 who was played by Alison Brie
I just don’t think Judy Greer can act well in serious roles, I thought she was awful in the DGG Halloween trilogy.
She’s a comedy actor, and that’s all she’s good at.
I also think it’s time to kill Gale, I personally felt she should’ve died in Scream 5 and not Dewey.
