    Yes this is good fudge. I always add some sea salt to cut the sweet. Sometimes I use dark chocolate chips instead of sugar and still the sea salt. My family loves it at Christmas. Thankyou for taking the time for your video❤

    You are saying condensed milk, but do you mean ‘sweetened’ condensed milk? There’s a big difference.

    • @oldtimewhimcooking
      @oldtimewhimcooking  2 роки тому

      No! Its the same theres no difference. You might want to google it!

      @@oldtimewhimcooking Actually, it’s easy to confuse them because they look similar in packaging, and condensed milk is actually evaporated milk. Many people call the unsweetened, condensed. Sweetened condensed is also evaporated and then sweetened. Because so many people refer to the unsweetened as condensed, as well, it’s probly not a bad idea to make sure people understand, so your delicious fudge won’t be ruined.

      @@camillechallis3335 How interesting (and a bit confusing). Where I live “condensed” milk is sweetened (as she is using here) and “Evaporated” milk is unsweetened. I am looking forward to making this recipe (I have never tried using nutmeg) and I hope you don’t mind me asking, but have you use evaporated (unsweetened) milk instead and if yes, how did it turn out?
