I think Blossom’s weapon being a yo-yo might be a reference to Sukeban Deka a popular manga and drama series in the 70s/80s. Since it went on to influence a good bit of magical girl anime and manga that came after🤔
The weapons they have correspond to what toy the kids had/were playing with when the ppg saved them ( blossom - kid was using a yoyo, bubbles - kid was blowing bubbles, buttercup - kid was playing with some kind of board game that involves a little hammer )

I'm disappointed and upset because our favorite childhood anime, Powerpuff Girls Z, never aired in America.
Yeah it would have been a lot more popular if it aired in America
Shoulda had Akira Toriyama on the case. Knowing what the Powerpuff girls is about its a no brainer. I think some drama aspects could give another side we barely see. Studio Clamp would go in tandem. their work in Tsubasa reservoir shows this. Wasn't much advertising or promos either.
Akira Toriyama would have been absolutely perfect. Yeah I wish the show would have taken some of its drama more seriously too
I remember this show!!
Yeah it’s pretty obscure
3:08 looks like a character Lupin the third would try to steal from
Lmaooo truee
I’m surprised I haven’t heard of this until now?!
Samee
Blisstina:an exchange student she would be hit by both black and white z rays after saved a kid that was playing with a toy shield
Bunny: will an Android ken older sister her weapon is the anti z ray Naturalizer
That would have been really cool to see!
It has some easter eggs sailor moon and lady bug
Really? I gotta look for those
Where can I watch powerpuff girls Z?
I watched it on UA-cam because every episode was uploaded but I’m not sure where you could officially watch it
I didn't know the Powerpuff Girls has a Anime
A lot of people don’t unfortunately, but I do recommend it. All episodes are on UA-cam
I honestly thought Powerpuff Girls Z was pretty cool and if it had done better with ratings, they probably would have made anime versions for more Cartoon Network shows like Dexter's Laboratory Ed Edd n Eddy and Courage the Cowardly Dog.
That would have been really cool, there’s still hope for that. It could still happen one day!
@@Childishju I guess there is always a chance they could be made but after all the stupid choices they made with Cartoon Network over the years I just want these classic shows to treated with some respect.
It was bloody awesome 👍🏾 i was shocked how rhey changed a lot around. But i so wished they would've kept the family part in it. But it was a great show. The new designs of all the cast looks great. I don't remember what kid dud at all. He had two or three episodes about him...but i didn't care for him at all. The acting was great
I agree completely, even though the family aspect isn’t there as much I still had a lot of fun with it! I hope they try doing Powerpuff girls in anime again some day
I love power puff girl z
I’m starting to love it too, it’s really cute
It's way better then the remake.. just like remake of teen titans.. what is this modern world just ew 😓
Yeah I enjoyed it
It's a good show. Just don't Is compare them to the classic Powerpuff Girls show. But the robot dog is too much
The Japanese opening slaps
But, I did lose interest while watching the anime
That’s completely fair, it was a little basic and bland but it’s fun for a few episodes. And you ain’t lying, the theme is so good
I honestly rather watch this show over the horrible reboot.
Not a bad choice lol
Didn’t they air the anime vers on boomerang? the dub….🫤😬😶
It’s like every magical shoujo in the anime. I mean it’s cute but they had to tone down the violence bc it’s not very polite to punch baddies…I think?
I’d watch this over the reboot. But the OG will be better bc little girls beating the sh!t outta bad guys is just funny.
I don’t remember it being aired on boomerang but I’ll definitely look into it. And yeah I like the anime but the OG Powerpuff girls will always be the best. I’m glad Craig is bringing the show back, hopefully it’ll be just as good and just as violent lmao
@@Childishju really? He’s bringing it back??? No joke?
