Bliss might have worked better as a character if she was not related to the girls. Perhaps if the professor gave the Powerpuff formula to another professor friend of his who had always wanted to start a family, and if Bliss had more of a normal appearance and the same powers as the girls, the story might have been a bit more plausible.

Not only did Bliss ruin Bunny’s place as the 4th PPG, it also ruins Mojo Jojo’s origin story as the Professor’s original assistant that “helped” created the PPG’s in the first place and what turned him into who he is.
The one time they had the chance to reintroduce Bunny in her stable form they had to ruin it. The mere existence of Bliss ruins the ENTIRE plot of the original cartoon. A lot of things don’t make sense about her. Aside from her weird backstory we can’t ignore her weird design. Like why did they choose her to have weird hips and blue hair? The answer is simply for merchandise. Bliss is not a positive addition to the actual story whatsoever. I hope if they do reboot the PPG in the future (which I heard that it’s already in production) they forget completely about Bliss. Just so they can redeem the show again.
I can completely understand this take, I do genuinely love the idea of a forth power puff girl so I would have no problem with it being bunny or someone new completely. As long as Craig is attached to whatever new incarnation of the Powerpuff girls we get then I’d be fine with it and trust whatever he decides to do. It would have been interesting if Bliss was created by Dick, Professor's ex friend who tried to create power puff girls for profit and Dick because his name pretty much and quite the villian, maybe Bliss could go through a Redemption arc and not want to work for Dick anymore, yeah i know Redemption arcs have been done lots of times by now, but i do think that might be a bit more interesting then what we got. Personally I really really REALLY didn't like Bliss being the fourth Powerpuff girls, her backstory was stupid and contradicts the original so much and it really bugs me that the show runners never specified wether or not this was an alternate universe or a continuation (I'm choosing to believe it's an alternate universe) HOWEVER I think Bliss's character can be salvaged should she return in feature Powerpuff girls media, I think she should be given a DIFFERENT backstory and a NEW design, nothing to drastic just little Tweeks, like maybe instead of the Professor Bliss was made by an entirely different scientist maybe someone trying to one up the professor instead of it being the other way around? Just putting some ideas out there because there are so many better ways to introduce Bliss as a character and on that note while I do find the concept of an unstable Powerpuff girl interesting, she has absolutely zero personalty.... I definitely agree that the 2016 team didn’t really do much to make her a well thought out character and she deserved better writers to flesh her out instead of making her feel like a gimmick. @@Childishju oh i loved the anime i used to watch it religiously and yeah i have a lot of strong opinions about Bliss, the concept isn't bad, I just think the execution was half assed especially since both the original series and the Powerpuff comics had additional members, I'm honestly thinking about just writing a fanfiction and flesh out Bliss's character myself, i just have so many ideas and the more I think about it the more I feel the reboot missed the mark

I remember hearing someone say bliss was a fan character or like some Mary sue. I can see it tbh. I like the idea of bliss, but the execution and the whole character as a whole was kinda upsetting. It’s like she was made to be “different” and not in like a good quirky way.
I had an idea. Blisstina was the so-called fourth powerpuff girl yet she had nothing to do with the OG show. Bunny on the other hand was the original fourth ppg and she died in the episode she was made. They have commons and differences. Bunny is seen to be unstable and clumsy as bliss is seen to be also unstable but graceful. Bunny is the newest powerpuff girl member as bliss is the oldest. In my opinion, if bunny had a second chance due to fate or good luck, she could meet bliss and become good friends with her. Hear me out, bliss would be the perfect friend for bunny. She’s experienced and mature as bunny has disabilities. Bliss has similar issues as bunny because she as well has uncontrollable powers. Bliss honestly would have been an understanding and motherly older sister figure to bunny and she would have guided bunny into being a powerpuff girl. Another thing is that bliss is stereotypically perfect while bunny being stereotypically imperfect. And since they both share the same imperfections, they could help eachother grow throughout their own spin-off. If they had a spin-off, I’m thinking it would be called “the purple puff girls” or “Bliss and Bunny”. They could meet by bunny respawning to Townsville and bumping into bliss during a flying accident and that’s where they meet. In conclusion I think the filmmakers could’ve gave bunny a chance as she meets bliss. It would’ve worked this way. They would’ve made a healthy friendship and became an iconic duo. I don’t like the concept of bliss. She seems like a serious replacement for bunny but in my opinion, if they had them meet up then the concept would’ve worked out. Let’s just hope they make that spin-off. Not to mention, they are both the most powerful powerpuff girls. They’re both made out of all the perfect girl elements as the ppg came out as three individuals. Bunny and bliss are made out of all elements.

The Powerpuff girl nobody asked for. I dislike how she contradicts the PPG's back story and how her back story was too convoluted. I wish the girls made a new Powerpuff girl similar to how they made Bunny. I also dislike how she isn't funny. When adding a character to a comedy show, they should ask how this character could be funny. Bubbles being a scardey cat can be funny, Buttercup speaking her mind can be funny, and Blossom being the straight man can be funny.
So there was a funny thing that happened to me regarding this, 2 weeks before the Power of Four special aired I had a dream one night that was about me watching a lost episode of the 2016 Powerpuff Girls reboot which actually did feature a 4th girl who looked almost exactly like Bliss! She was tall like her and had the purple color. Only differences were that she was white and had long black hair. All I could really remember that happened in it was that all 4 of them were fighting Mojo and that was really it. I do actually really like the concept of Bliss, I seem to have a liking for 'prototype characters' like Cyber, aka Experiment 000 from the Stitch! Anime. But I agree with everyone on how it could've been done better, like instead Bliss is one of the experiments that worked but was still emotionally unstable. I do think she'd need a design tweak, at most make her a different color like magenta or so(that way she isn't purple like Bunny was). The same story beats could be used although maybe the Professor goes into a slump before getting Jojo which somehow re-inspires him to make the girls(he will never escape the truth he was the cause for the PPGs).
Bliss was literally an obvious woke self insert that has all of the marry sue traits in the book. First fourth Powerpuff Girl: Bunny Second fourth Powerpuff Girl: Bullet These two characters served the purpose of being one-offs (sorta, Bullet later returned), and by the time the episode was over it was clear why: the Powerpuff Girls work just fine as a trio. A fourth member brings disbalance to the dynamics of the original sisters, so there's no need for a permanent addition. I think Bliss was a terrible idea; a slap on the face to the shows iconic origin story. And that really annoys me, because the sole reason to add Bliss was "let's try and boost the raitings! let's make it look like we care about diversity, while we mess further with this beloved cartoon!"

But That's shame that the PowerPuff girls (2016) got cancelled in june 2019 after just only 3 seasons. I Have A Long WHAT IF Story suggestion on HOW Blisstina could properly be explained and introduced. honestly If Bliss was treated as a "Unstable Prototype" Of the Completed Powerpuff Girls, it could be worked in. I think Having the Professor and his rival work together on Blisstina only for the two realize there was a "Fundamental" and Crucial Flaw with utilizing Chemical "W" as the source. As well as an actual explaination as to WHY Professor Utonium was so obssessive with creating the perfect little girl, it could be revealed that the rival a woman could be the professors wife, and that the two were actually creating "New Life" BECAUSE of an accident that left his wife barren, and caused the death of their previous children together. Grief stricken the two could set out to make new children who wouldn't die due to environmental issues or failed health etc. which would explain the "Perfect Little Girl Formula" in the process, as well as the motive behind it. Heroes are born from Tragedy and Loss the Powerpuff Girls honestly shouldn't be an exception to this. Blisstina could be the "Remains" or even a "Clone" of the Professors former daughter used as a "Base" for the Perfect Little Girl Formula that utilized Chemical W however the experiment both Worked but Failed at the same time as Blisstina's powers would prove Unstable, Not wanting to lose their daughter a Second time she could've been placed in a Deep Cryogenic Sleep Chamber and left in the care of his wife to find a way to stabalize Bliss's condition. The Powerpuff Girls Existence could simply be as the professor stated an "ACCIDENT" but an Accident Due to the Research on trying to cure Blisstina's condition and help her control her dangerous powers which could be taking a toll on either psyche or health in some way. We all know the professor values the girls and that he can be very irrisponsible having a wife that balances his screw ups would make sense. The girls always needed a mother figure but were never given one and having an explaination as to WHY she's been absent the entire time BECAUSE she was dillgently TRYING to save their daughter it would make sense. As to why she wasn't around when the girls were created that could be left up to the professor stating that the girls performance tests and experimental data plays a key role to saving Bliss. But that the girls are also indeed deserving of being loved which would explain WHY he decided to be their father. We know the Professor does work in his lab but not once was it explained WHAT he does correct? Having him send daily test data and performance information to his wife could actually explain that plot hole. He loves the girls but still wants to save Bliss to the best of his abilities as he is still her father also. Their mother's his wife's absence is properly explained by her consistently trying to stabilize Bliss's uncontrollable condition. As to what her opinion is about the Girls she thinks of them as both important "Samples" to save her child but also her children at the end of the day. She is still a mother after all and regardless how the children came into existence she would at least ask if they are well and whatnot.. Sugar Spice & Everything Nice was never Fully Explained what if Everything Nice was actually DNA from the Wife a sort of Metaphor for the Professor's Beloved not a Literal pile of "Everything Nice" but what he loves about his Wife and Daughter? This would make sense about A lot of aspects concerning the Chemical X formula. The Accident could've been caused by an argument or an outside intervention leading up to the Tragedy that leads to Bliss's untimely and in many ways cruel fate. The Other 22 failed attempted "Perfect Little Girl Program" could've been funded by a corporation or the military which would explain WHY the Professor has a lab in the first place and that the technology is being used to aide medical programs such as introducing Rapid healing or even limb regeneration by utilizing the formulas etc. As for the fates of the other 22 "Sisters" simply put they like "Bunny" who would be explained suffered the same fate as the other 22 of being utterly Unstable and thus conbusted, broke down at the atomic level, or rapidly aged into dust with Blisstina and the Power puff Girls being the only Living Successes of the experiment. The Perfect little Boy Formula could've also been given to the company or military as a form of compensation for the experiments expenses and that the Perfect Little Girl Formula was the "Payment" of their contract in exchange for the "Perfect Little Boy Formula" which would also explain the existence and link to the Rowdy Rough Boys as well as their obvious weaknesses.As for how Blisstina and Bubbles meet it could be another accident due to "FATE" Bubbles could land in the basement of their "Mother's Lab" and accidently trigger the Cryo Sleep pod holding Bliss to awaken.. this could lead to a series of events as the other girls would be showing signs of "Deteriation" as with the other 22 "Failed Sisters" eventually the Professor and his wife could figure out that by "SHARING" the Unstable power between all four girls it would actually stabalize ALL of their conditions at the same time thus explaining WHY Blisstina is Needed, and that the Girls are also there to aide their new Big Sister etc. Power of Friendship and Family moment but with some logic and reasoning behind it. This new "Sharing Power" could also act as the base form of a new power the show would be centered around and properly explain WHY it's such an interesting power dynamic as it's both POWER and what's Keeping the Girls "Safe & Whole" Only by Being a Team and a Family will they be "Complete" as it were. What is everyone's thoughts on this as a background overhaul of the Powerpuff girl Blisstina?

Yeahs it’s pretty much been what I’ve been saying for a while now, the creators wanted to do something new to spice up a already failing cartoon but they didn’t put enough effort in to actually make the show better. They didn’t think bliss through, they just wanted to use the gimmick of a fourth Powerpuff girl to promote their show. I still appreciate their efforts but They should have taken notes from how the original handled bunny. Which I’ve also made a video about.

Bliss reminds me of what happens when a lot of young people make OC's for pre existing shows and post them online. They do this over the top design and make them the strongest to try to make them stand out amongst the original cast. They want their character to be seen and to have influence in the story but they stand out so much they end up being out of place. I also think this is seen with how they made her the first born PPG. They wanted to be able to say she was the original, just trying to force the importance and relevance of the character into the lore of the show.
Bliss would be neat if she was just somebody's OC made to have fun and be self-indulgent, but for a canon character in the official show? She just doesn't work.
I remeber Bliss being introduced years ago but I didn’t get to look into her story! I think she’s adorable and I’m going back to check them out and I’m 38 lol but the original voice overs with Tara strong and EG Dailey and Cathy Cavadini who have been out for decades! First off thank you so much for the kind words man they mean a lot. I did have a script and struggled a bit getting some of the words out but I know I’ll get better with time. Giving her this overpowered Mary sue thing and then utilizing it to make a beautiful story about her maintaining her powers and building on a decent and good character arc for her yeah that show was nostalgic to me despite how much hate it got.

Funnily, Bliss was th whole reason i decided to watch the reboot, I only watched the episodes about her, n pretty much never returned to the reboot, but honestly i like her i just wish her origins was done better, she could've been like Bunny with how the girls wanted someone else to save the town for them while they slacked off.
You ever watch the episode of the Simpsons where they add a new character to itchy and scratchy in an attempt to boost there ratings. That’s how I see bliss kind of the poochy of this show no one really cared about. I didn’t need a new character it needed better quality episodes like they were in the 90s.

I feel like Bliss is one of those characters that only appears in a few episodes of a cartoon that has so much potential and the writers just didn't do anything with, like Danielle/Dani Phantom from Danny Phantom. Like her being a prototype PowerPuff is admittedly kind of cool. Not to mention i think it would have been cool to see how what kind of dynamics she would have with each of her sisters. Just give her a better design (and maybe even acknowledge Bunny) and i think she could have worked. But, no. The writers literally pulled a Poochie and just sent into space, only showing up in two, maybe three, other episodes before the show ended. The writers were aware one of the reasons the Green Power Ranger was so popular was because we got to see more of him after his introduction, right? If they were trying to copy the sixth ranger plotline, they ignored one of the best things about those kinds of characters is actually SEEING MORE OF THEM! Not just introducing them and immediately shoving them to the side.

I hate how the only reason why people in these comments hate Bliss is just bc they are butt hurt that they didnt show Bunny instead. The problem with Bliss isn’t that she’s not Bunny. The problem is that her backstory makes zero sense and retcons everything about the lore,as well as the fact that she doesn’t really have much in personality. Sure, I felt bad for Bliss, but I wasn’t all that invested either
Yeah she came back for multiple episodes until it was canceled, song is signal in the sky Powerpuff girls. It was a song Cartoon Network would play on the channel a lot back then during the original run.
I would have preferred if A.) Bliss had a more natural design like the main girls who have semi-realistic color schemes. Bliss should have Red, Brown, or Black hair and Orange color scheme instead of neon blue and purple which has already been mentioned as disrespectful of Bunny and the disabled people she represents. B.) Should have been Mojo JoJo's child since Mojo was replaced as the professor's son by the PowerPuff Girls. It makes sense as a revenge story. She could then be overpowered due to Mojo messing with the formula to make her into a weapon. Mojo compliments the origin girls often, and there was an episode where Mojo spent time with Bubbles and got close to her and I got the impression he'd be a better dad than he lets on.
Literally everything you’re saying would have been a better way to go. Having her be mojos child could have been really interesting but I don’t think they thought far enough. The reason I dislike bliss is because bliss was not only added in an ancanon way to the show that already established no previous sisters, but also they took the color purple away from bunny :( what was great about the old show is that it was simple minded, each girl had her own hair color that is REAL and not a made up hair color like teal, and that each girl had her own clothing color. light red or pink for blossom, green for buttercup, and blue for bubbles, along with the evil girl with the yellow and bunny with the purple. If they wanted to add bliss they should have made her, her own person not by just making her black but by making her have a real hair color and style, instead of what can only be achieved with a wig or a hair dye and chemicals. Especially would have been great if she rocked coily hair because none of the girl have coily hair so it would be a unique hair trait. She should also have her own theme color, she could have had teal as her clothing color instead of her hair color because not only is it unique its also a very favorite by girls color and would have added so much more personality to bliss. And lastly , although im not the most ticked by it but the way they drew bliss literally the same as the other girls but with longer legs to express that shes older is just weird looking, they should have either made her the same height because then it would be literally a match and equal to the girls, or made her more like the teenage powerpuff episode to feel more canon and proper to the series. I dislike bliss, they did her dirty, she could have been someone but they decided to mix her up with silly ideas and previously claimed designs. shes the fifth powerpuff not the fourth , shes not purple themed shes teal, and she should be more appealing to look at and less fantasy and more relatable for little girls

The reason this is bad writing is because it was already established in the original that proffessor was not a father previously other than his pet monkey. There are plenty other hair colors, Do you think black, gignger, blond are the only options? what about auburn? brown? dark brown? platnum? Albino? did you know black albino also exist? giving her a fake hair color makes it feel more like a wig. I think most people wouldnt mind if she had black or dark brown hair just to make it more relatable, since the point was for the girls to look counterparts to real girls. Giving her the purple from bunny feels lazy, They could have made her that teal color her hair color is instead of making it a fantasy hair, it would have been not only unique but also a beautiful feminine personal color. There is a reason that most bliss art are redesigns of her. All the girls can exist in the same universe, we just want Bliss to be written better, and have a more relatble design.
I hate that Blisstina's story completely ignores Bunny! It honestly kinda felt like bad fanfiction in general, if I'm being honest, and as much as I hate the term "Mary Sue," that fits Bliss to a T. The only part I actually appreciated was having Him, a character who's always been very devil inspired, turning into a snake as he tries to convince Bliss to join him. I'm not Christian, but that biblical imagery was actually pretty clever.
Bliss is a interesting character how she a lost power puff girl because of her power being crazy and she work so hard for her power. Power puff girl reboot is not that good of writing and characters like they have a good idea but not at good to make a story.

Bliss might have worked better as a character if she was not related to the girls. Perhaps if the professor gave the Powerpuff formula to another professor friend of his who had always wanted to start a family, and if Bliss had more of a normal appearance and the same powers as the girls, the story might have been a bit more plausible.

The one time they had the chance to reintroduce Bunny in her stable form they had to ruin it. The mere existence of Bliss ruins the ENTIRE plot of the original cartoon. A lot of things don’t make sense about her. Aside from her weird backstory we can’t ignore her weird design. Like why did they choose her to have weird hips and blue hair? The answer is simply for merchandise. Bliss is not a positive addition to the actual story whatsoever. I hope if they do reboot the PPG in the future (which I heard that it’s already in production) they forget completely about Bliss. Just so they can redeem the show again.
I can completely understand this take, I do genuinely love the idea of a forth power puff girl so I would have no problem with it being bunny or someone new completely. Personally I really really REALLY didn't like Bliss being the fourth Powerpuff girls, her backstory was stupid and contradicts the original so much and it really bugs me that the show runners never specified wether or not this was an alternate universe or a continuation (I'm choosing to believe it's an alternate universe) HOWEVER I think Bliss's character can be salvaged should she return in feature Powerpuff girls media, I think she should be given a DIFFERENT backstory and a NEW design, nothing to drastic just little Tweeks, like maybe instead of the Professor Bliss was made by an entirely different scientist maybe someone trying to one up the professor instead of it being the other way around? Just putting some ideas out there because there are so many better ways to introduce Bliss as a character and on that note while I do find the concept of an unstable Powerpuff girl interesting, she has absolutely zero personalty.... @@Childishju oh i loved the anime i used to watch it religiously and yeah i have a lot of strong opinions about Bliss, the concept isn't bad, I just think the execution was half assed especially since both the original series and the Powerpuff comics had additional members, I'm honestly thinking about just writing a fanfiction and flesh out Bliss's character myself, i just have so many ideas and the more I think about it the more I feel the reboot missed the mark

I remember hearing someone say bliss was a fan character or like some Mary sue. I can see it tbh. I like the idea of bliss, but the execution and the whole character as a whole was kinda upsetting. It’s like she was made to be “different” and not in like a good quirky way.

I had an idea. Blisstina was the so-called fourth powerpuff girl yet she had nothing to do with the OG show. Bunny on the other hand was the original fourth ppg and she died in the episode she was made.
They have commons and differences. Bunny is seen to be unstable and clumsy as bliss is seen to be also unstable but graceful.
Bunny is the newest powerpuff girl member as bliss is the oldest.
In my opinion, if bunny had a second chance due to fate or good luck, she could meet bliss and become good friends with her.
Hear me out, bliss would be the perfect friend for bunny. She’s experienced and mature as bunny has disabilities. Bliss has similar issues as bunny because she as well has uncontrollable powers. Bliss honestly would have been an understanding and motherly older sister figure to bunny and she would have guided bunny into being a powerpuff girl.
Another thing is that bliss is stereotypically perfect while bunny being stereotypically imperfect. And since they both share the same imperfections, they could help eachother grow throughout their own spin-off. If they had a spin-off, I’m thinking it would be called “the purple puff girls” or “Bliss and Bunny”. They could meet by bunny respawning to Townsville and bumping into bliss during a flying accident and that’s where they meet.
In conclusion I think the filmmakers could’ve gave bunny a chance as she meets bliss. It would’ve worked this way. They would’ve made a healthy friendship and became an iconic duo.
I don’t like the concept of bliss. She seems like a serious replacement for bunny but in my opinion, if they had them meet up then the concept would’ve worked out.
Let’s just hope they make that spin-off.

The Powerpuff girl nobody asked for. I dislike how she contradicts the PPG's back story and how her back story was too convoluted. I wish the girls made a new Powerpuff girl similar to how they made Bunny. I also dislike how she isn't funny. When adding a character to a comedy show, they should ask how this character could be funny. Bubbles being a scardey cat can be funny, Buttercup speaking her mind can be funny, and Blossom being the straight man can be funny.

So there was a funny thing that happened to me regarding this, 2 weeks before the Power of Four special aired I had a dream one night that was about me watching a lost episode of the 2016 Powerpuff Girls reboot which actually did feature a 4th girl who looked almost exactly like Bliss! She was tall like her and had the purple color. Only differences were that she was white and had long black hair. All I could really remember that happened in it was that all 4 of them were fighting Mojo and that was really it. Anyways I was so shocked when I saw the trailer for the Power of Four special seeing how I somehow predicted the future XD

I do actually really like the concept of Bliss, I seem to have a liking for 'prototype characters' like Cyber, aka Experiment 000 from the Stitch! Anime. But I agree with everyone on how it could've been done better, like instead Bliss is one of the experiments that worked but was still emotionally unstable. I do think she'd need a design tweak, at most make her a different color like magenta or so(that way she isn't purple like Bunny was). The same story beats could be used although maybe the Professor goes into a slump before getting Jojo which somehow re-inspires him to make the girls(he will never escape the truth he was the cause for the PPGs).
I absolutely 100% agree, with better writers we could have had something really special but I still appreciate what we got.

These two characters served the purpose of being one-offs (sorta, Bullet later returned), and by the time the episode was over it was clear why: the Powerpuff Girls work just fine as a trio. A fourth member brings disbalance to the dynamics of the original sisters, so there's no need for a permanent addition. I think Bliss was a terrible idea; a slap on the face to the shows iconic origin story. And that really annoys me, because the sole reason to add Bliss was "let's try and boost the raitings! let's make it look like we care about diversity, while we mess further with this beloved cartoon!"

I never forgot about her. In fact, I actually quite like her. Her being a unstable prototype just comes to show that the process of making the girls was no easy task. What really hurted her was how much she was spaced out. I mean, what is the point of introducing a new character, if you aren't even going to experiment with them?

I Have A Long WHAT IF Story suggestion on HOW Blisstina could properly be explained and introduced.
honestly If Bliss was treated as a "Unstable Prototype" Of the Completed Powerpuff Girls, it could be worked in.
I think Having the Professor and his rival work together on Blisstina only for the two realize there was a "Fundamental" and Crucial Flaw with utilizing Chemical "W" as the source. As well as an actual explaination as to WHY Professor Utonium was so obssessive with creating the perfect little girl, it could be revealed that the rival a woman could be the professors wife, and that the two were actually creating "New Life" BECAUSE of an accident that left his wife barren, and caused the death of their previous children together. Grief stricken the two could set out to make new children who wouldn't die due to environmental issues or failed health etc. which would explain the "Perfect Little Girl Formula" in the process, as well as the motive behind it. Heroes are born from Tragedy and Loss the Powerpuff Girls honestly shouldn't be an exception to this. Blisstina could be the "Remains" or even a "Clone" of the Professors former daughter used as a "Base" for the Perfect Little Girl Formula that utilized Chemical W however the experiment both Worked but Failed at the same time as Blisstina's powers would prove Unstable, Not wanting to lose their daughter a Second time she could've been placed in a Deep Cryogenic Sleep Chamber and left in the care of his wife to find a way to stabalize Bliss's condition. The Powerpuff Girls Existence could simply be as the professor stated an "ACCIDENT" but an Accident Due to the Research on trying to cure Blisstina's condition and help her control her dangerous powers which could be taking a toll on either psyche or health in some way. We all know the professor values the girls and that he can be very irrisponsible having a wife that balances his screw ups would make sense. The girls always needed a mother figure but were never given one and having an explaination as to WHY she's been absent the entire time BECAUSE she was dillgently TRYING to save their daughter it would make sense. As to why she wasn't around when the girls were created that could be left up to the professor stating that the girls performance tests and experimental data plays a key role to saving Bliss. But that the girls are also indeed deserving of being loved which would explain WHY he decided to be their father. We know the Professor does work in his lab but not once was it explained WHAT he does correct? Having him send daily test data and performance information to his wife could actually explain that plot hole. He loves the girls but still wants to save Bliss to the best of his abilities as he is still her father also. Their mother's his wife's absence is properly explained by her consistently trying to stabilize Bliss's uncontrollable condition.
As to what her opinion is about the Girls she thinks of them as both important "Samples" to save her child but also her children at the end of the day. She is still a mother after all and regardless how the children came into existence she would at least ask if they are well and whatnot..
Sugar Spice & Everything Nice was never Fully Explained what if Everything Nice was actually DNA from the Wife a sort of Metaphor for the Professor's Beloved not a Literal pile of "Everything Nice" but what he loves about his Wife and Daughter? This would make sense about A lot of aspects concerning the Chemical X formula. The Accident could've been caused by an argument or an outside intervention leading up to the Tragedy that leads to Bliss's untimely and in many ways cruel fate. The Other 22 failed attempted "Perfect Little Girl Program" could've been funded by a corporation or the military which would explain WHY the Professor has a lab in the first place and that the technology is being used to aide medical programs such as introducing Rapid healing or even limb regeneration by utilizing the formulas etc. As for the fates of the other 22 "Sisters" simply put they like "Bunny" who would be explained suffered the same fate as the other 22 of being utterly Unstable and thus conbusted, broke down at the atomic level, or rapidly aged into dust with Blisstina and the Power puff Girls being the only Living Successes of the experiment. The Perfect little Boy Formula could've also been given to the company or military as a form of compensation for the experiments expenses and that the Perfect Little Girl Formula was the "Payment" of their contract in exchange for the "Perfect Little Boy Formula" which would also explain the existence and link to the Rowdy Rough Boys as well as their obvious weaknesses.As for how Blisstina and Bubbles meet it could be another accident due to "FATE" Bubbles could land in the basement of their "Mother's Lab" and accidently trigger the Cryo Sleep pod holding Bliss to awaken.. this could lead to a series of events as the other girls would be showing signs of "Deteriation" as with the other 22 "Failed Sisters" eventually the Professor and his wife could figure out that by "SHARING" the Unstable power between all four girls it would actually stabalize ALL of their conditions at the same time thus explaining WHY Blisstina is Needed, and that the Girls are also there to aide their new Big Sister etc. Power of Friendship and Family moment but with some logic and reasoning behind it. This new "Sharing Power" could also act as the base form of a new power the show would be centered around and properly explain WHY it's such an interesting power dynamic as it's both POWER and what's Keeping the Girls "Safe & Whole" Only by Being a Team and a Family will they be "Complete" as it were.

The idea of making her the remains of a previously failed daughter is fantastic. I absolutely love your ideas and I prefer them over the shows origin for her. Yeahs it’s pretty much been what I’ve been saying for a while now, the creators wanted to do something new to spice up a already failing cartoon but they didn’t put enough effort in to actually make the show better. They didn’t think bliss through, they just wanted to use the gimmick of a fourth Powerpuff girl to promote their show. I still appreciate their efforts but They should have taken notes from how the original handled bunny. Which I’ve also made a video about.

Bliss reminds me of what happens when a lot of young people make OC's for pre existing shows and post them online. They do this over the top design and make them the strongest to try to make them stand out amongst the original cast. They want their character to be seen and to have influence in the story but they stand out so much they end up being out of place. I also think this is seen with how they made her the first born PPG. They wanted to be able to say she was the original, just trying to force the importance and relevance of the character into the lore of the show.
Bliss would be neat if she was just somebody's OC made to have fun and be self-indulgent, but for a canon character in the official show? She just doesn't work.

I remeber Bliss being introduced years ago but I didn’t get to look into her story! I think she’s adorable and I’m going back to check them out and I’m 38 lol but the original voice overs with Tara strong and EG Dailey and Cathy Cavadini who have been out for decades! First off thank you so much for the kind words man they mean a lot. I did have a script and struggled a bit getting some of the words out but I know I’ll get better with time. Funnily, Bliss was th whole reason i decided to watch the reboot, I only watched the episodes about her, n pretty much never returned to the reboot, but honestly i like her i just wish her origins was done better, she could've been like Bunny with how the girls wanted someone else to save the town for them while they slacked off.

You ever watch the episode of the Simpsons where they add a new character to itchy and scratchy in an attempt to boost there ratings. That’s how I see bliss kind of the poochy of this show no one really cared about. I didn’t need a new character it needed better quality episodes like they were in the 90s.

That’s actually a really good point, the episodes even ended the same lol with the new character being sent off to space: I completely agree, they didn’t need a new character, they needed a better show. I feel like Bliss is one of those characters that only appears in a few episodes of a cartoon that has so much potential and the writers just didn't do anything with, like Danielle/Dani Phantom from Danny Phantom. Like her being a prototype PowerPuff is admittedly kind of cool. Not to mention i think it would have been cool to see how what kind of dynamics she would have with each of her sisters. Just give her a better design (and maybe even acknowledge Bunny) and i think she could have worked.
But, no. The writers literally pulled a Poochie and just sent into space, only showing up in two, maybe three, other episodes before the show ended. The writers were aware one of the reasons the Green Power Ranger was so popular was because we got to see more of him after his introduction, right? If they were trying to copy the sixth ranger plotline, they ignored one of the best things about those kinds of characters is actually SEEING MORE OF THEM! Not just introducing them and immediately shoving them to the side.

I would have preferred if A.) Bliss had a more natural design like the main girls who have semi-realistic color schemes. Bliss should have Red, Brown, or Black hair and Orange color scheme instead of neon blue and purple which has already been mentioned as disrespectful of Bunny and the disabled people she represents. B.) Should have been Mojo JoJo's child since Mojo was replaced as the professor's son by the PowerPuff Girls. It makes sense as a revenge story. She could then be overpowered due to Mojo messing with the formula to make her into a weapon. Mojo compliments the origin girls often, and there was an episode where Mojo spent time with Bubbles and got close to her and I got the impression he'd be a better dad than he lets on.
Literally everything you’re saying would have been a better way to go. Having her be mojos child could have been really interesting but I don’t think they thought far enough. The reason I dislike bliss is because bliss was not only added in an ancanon way to the show that already established no previous sisters, but also they took the color purple away from bunny :( what was great about the old show is that it was simple minded, each girl had her own hair color that is REAL and not a made up hair color like teal, and that each girl had her own clothing color. light red or pink for blossom, green for buttercup, and blue for bubbles, along with the evil girl with the yellow and bunny with the purple. If they wanted to add bliss they should have made her, her own person not by just making her black but by making her have a real hair color and style, instead of what can only be achieved with a wig or a hair dye and chemicals. Especially would have been great if she rocked coily hair because none of the girl have coily hair so it would be a unique hair trait. She should also have her own theme color, she could have had teal as her clothing color instead of her hair color because not only is it unique its also a very favorite by girls color and would have added so much more personality to bliss. And lastly , although im not the most ticked by it but the way they drew bliss literally the same as the other girls but with longer legs to express that shes older is just weird looking, they should have either made her the same height because then it would be literally a match and equal to the girls, or made her more like the teenage powerpuff episode to feel more canon and proper to the series.
I dislike bliss, they did her dirty, she could have been someone but they decided to mix her up with silly ideas and previously claimed designs. shes the fifth powerpuff not the fourth , shes not purple themed shes teal, and she should be more appealing to look at and less fantasy and more relatable for little girls

There is no need to mention that she is a character of color. That just shows what kind of person you are that you made it about this. She is just badly written and designed , True that it happens that parets have previous children, (regardless of color) it was actaully established in the original with the roudy rough boys being adopted by him, but originally made by mojo.
The reason this is bad writing is because it was already established in the original that proffessor was not a father previously other than his pet monkey. He wasnt prepared to be a father, and he was a good father to the girls, with patients and love. Which is completely erased by what he did to bliss.
There are plenty other hair colors, Do you think black, gignger, blond are the only options? what about auburn? brown? dark brown? platnum? Albino? did you know black albino also exist? giving her a fake hair color makes it feel more like a wig. I think most people wouldnt mind if she had black or dark brown hair just to make it more relatable, since the point was for the girls to look counterparts to real girls.
Giving her the purple from bunny feels lazy, They could have made her that teal color her hair color is instead of making it a fantasy hair, it would have been not only unique but also a beautiful feminine personal color. There is a reason that most bliss art are redesigns of her.
All the girls can exist in the same universe, we just want Bliss to be written better, and have a more relatble design.

I hate that Blisstina's story completely ignores Bunny! It honestly kinda felt like bad fanfiction in general, if I'm being honest, and as much as I hate the term "Mary Sue," that fits Bliss to a T. The only part I actually appreciated was having Him, a character who's always been very devil inspired, turning into a snake as he tries to convince Bliss to join him. I'm not Christian, but that biblical imagery was actually pretty clever.
