Nicely done, with one caveat: comparing brightness by watching standard HDR material is beyond the point. Since tone curve in HDR is not relative but absolute, most HDR content should look the same up to about the 700-1000 values which are ususally small highlight, the Sun etc. Since the peak brightness for both is rather close, this mostly goes by undetected by regular viewing.

there never going to be a big difference from yr to yr, it never is. It's about small improvements and making it better every yr.But the C2 does look better then the C1. The picture is more clear, brighter and dam those colors pop!
Brightness between C1 and C2 is very minimal. Better to get a C1 on sale. Have to go with a G2 if you want to see a more noticeable improvement. But paying much $ for again not a major improvement.

@@BatTech well one doesn't have to pay a high price if u can wait till black Friday and it's not just the brightness but also colors are better and shadow detail improvement with better motion is worth getting. Makes no sense to not get an improved tv just because the older one is cheaper

No it definitely has the new panel. It's brighter and the colours are better. I go into this on my C1 vs c2 video that I'm currently editing. The C1 is almost definitely the better deal right now but for people who are sensitive to motion issues, the C2 is worth it, maybe wait 9 months if you want a better deal though.

c2 in the uk , lg only warranty period 1 year , thats not long on expensive tv . i bought an lg oled 6 years ago and it came with 5 years ? are they not as reliable now ?

Who thought it was a good idea to make the stand a reflective silver? The tv light bouncing off that thing is so distracting. You think they could have at least made it black. WTF?

I currently have a c1 that every now and again loads my series x like its an x360, the ratio is all off and i have to either switch of the tv and if that doesnt work, reboot the xbox, sometimes sound wont play and I need to turn the tv off and on for sound to come though. have you come across this issue with the c1 or c2 yourself?
Don't waste your money buy the C1 it has a lot more premium parts that's why theres a 7 kilo difference, the C1 is far more premium, how can it feel more premium if it's got cheaper parts smaller stand, HDTV knows a hell off a lot more than yourself so I would go with he's recommendation
Haha I haven’t said to go for this over the C1. But even Vincent would tell you this tv is better. Just not worth the extra right now. Also weight doesn’t mean quality 😂
If you are going to use a soundbar. Just raise the stand with some wood under it. It will be hidden anyway!

About motion. The black frame insertion on the C2 is capped at 60hz. While on the C1can hit 120hz with BFI.

To me, the red on the C2 looked over saturated, having said that, all the colours on the C2 look over saturated. No bugs, does pic in pic work?

Not that much, we are normally talking about minuscule differences. It’s only N issue for people who want it to be as true a picture as possible.

Stick to a RGB OLED. Closest thing is the Sony a95k qd oled.
