IndyCar Honda Indy Toronto experiences Lap 1 caution after multi-car wreck | Motorsports on NBC

NBC had an entire broadcast window open on USA with the Nascar race being postponed, but instead of that they fill it with SVU reruns. There's no excuse for that, especially since they showed the first restart during the Nascar rain delay coverage.
They want you personal data...lol
STREAMING IS A SCAM that only suckers pay for. 🖕NBC
Nascar rain out why not show this race ?
You guys do not care about your fan base, F1 and NASCAR is available to anyone everywhere. Why do you hide this series behind a pay wall? Its wrong.
It's ridiculous that this is not aired on cable..have to have a paid subscription to watch. 😢
Agreed. Good field, good drivers and races. It's a shame.
Actually for me this way is easier to watch. I pay less than $6 a month for Peacock. Far less than paying for cable (well over $80 in my market) if the race was on NBCSN. Now if it was just standard NBC, i'd be with you. Otherwise I love this Peacock streaming option
Yeah Indy is phasing out cable. I only pay $1.99/month for Peacock through my internet provider. And the broadcast had limited interruption. Cable is a scam.
Get rid of your paid subscription to your cable company. Outdated prices and policies. Streaming far easier, can switch what platforms you want month to month, far less than your cable package.
Ridiculous. Shame on NBC. I pay way too much for my satellite subscription to be fleeced for a single event because they want to look avant- with their streaming. While we’re on the subject I won’t be attending the show at Laguna Seca again until I am assured there will be big screens. The first year of the return we sat in the grandstand and saw the race on television and the action in the pits. The next 2 years I missed the race by attending the event. Shameful. When the AMGEN bicycle race finished in Modesto we had big screens downtown and the event was free. $100 ticket and 5 hours in the car and they can’t set up a television?
Already pay for cable and nbc wants more to watch races. Screw them. Will never pay to watch.
Why was this not aired on NBC as we were told??
You weren't told that. They made it very clear this race would be peacock exclusive.
Smart move by Graham Rahal! Big shoutout to him!
Wish I could watch it
Peacock??
Man I wish I could’ve seen it
what's your excuse? it's 2023. you can find anything you want on the internet in 5 minutes including free livestreams of every sport in the world with just a bit of googling. don't be lazy. clearly you have internet access so quit your whinging
I've seen it happen right in front of me, they were following the safety car for a while, and when it left them to go for a free run, they bumped into each other. It was a mess, but once it got cleared, the race went real loud and fast, the thrill I had experienced in this Indycar race was totally amazing as it was my first time seeing a live crash :)
Yeah it was my first time at a Indy car race as well, I find it weird how they keep counting the laps under caution, the first 10 laps were under caution which really shortens up the actual racing.
It’s cool to see but it’s hard to follow. It’s not like a circle track unless you have seats at the end of the straight away or right at the line it’s a bit boring honestly
This is total bs that this isn't on regular cable
Indy cars are much more colorful than the F1 cars
Yes, very colourful, like F1 was also many years ago. F1 is boringly colorless like street cars.
@@marisgertans2438 Quite the opposite. They use very little paint unlike a street car.
@@jameshoffa7085 Didn't Williams remove as much paint as possible to shed wait last year?
F1 has always been a bit......... boring when it comes to colorful cars.
@@marisgertans2438bro it's called history, will you imagine a ferrari dressed like a clown car
A Lap #1 crash in IndyCar is almost a tradition by now. Usually, it's lap 1/turn 1.
Screw NBC for not showing Indycar except behind paywall.
Am I wrong for assuming Grosjean was involved before clicking the video?
Not in that wreck. But he crashed later.
Only one solution, boycott Peacock!
😮😮😮
Traffic jam already
Indycar should bring back a few more ovals like New Hampshire, Nashville superspeedway, Richmond, Milwaukee mile, and Kansas! I think a Indycar race at Montreal circuit Gilles Villeneuve would be good!
Ovals are SO boring
No that would be terrible
No that would be terrible
American racing has always been about ovals and especially short ovals. Circuits have always been a Euro tradition.
Unfortunately Euro style is winning
@@jameshoffa7085then go back to Formula 1
Well there’s a first for everything 0:54
1:14 😂😂
JINX!!
Ha, look like NASCAR drivers at Chicago..
Ofc this is not on tv sports are dying
race against time, time trial race much better
It's July? Not June, good bye indy car, no more watching
Yeah, we could not watch it because NBC wanted to show a bunch of girly men riding A BIKE !!!!
Pro they all say. More of a clown show.
Cringe worthy at the end with Lungard and what is very obviously his boyfriend in post race
That’s actually his friend. Not BF. Could be wrong. Who knows, and it shouldn’t matter.
I hope it’s not a problem to you.
Agreed. 🤮
@@torpedo58 what’s the problem?
@@IanTheMotorsportsMan_YT I don't like seeing that crap. Cry me a river, Sport.
@@torpedo58 bro thinks people aren't allowed to be happy for winning a race 💀💀💀
