Honestly the Hybrid presence kind of proved itself here. Multiple incidents resulted in stopped cars that easily could have stalled and would have required a full course yellow without the Hybrid system, but because they had it this race, they were all able to get going and continue keeping the race green. That alone makes the new Hybrid era okay in my book.
Congratulations, Power is the fastest demolition driver in north america, no doubt. When he drives well (for him) he takes out 2-3 strong competitors, receiving little to no penalty. It is nearing 2 decades of his crap driving, degrading the series.

Less skilled drivers and slower spec cars do lead to more interesting racing naturally. I follow both and enjoy both. It doesnt have to be everyones favorite, just enjoy what you like and dont hate.

Man, inreally wish indycar used team colors for cars and time delta on thr left. Im trying to get more into indy car and hqve no idea who are team mates and who aren't. Is there a specififc reason they donit this way? Seems unnecessarily confusing.
They do that because that's how every other American motorsport does it. Team colors aren't consistent because sponsorship changes on cars weekly, and the only motorsport that ever uses individual time deltas is F1. At least almost every team keeps their number fonts consistent across their entries.

What a surprise Crashtino Succucci gets involved in yet another crash making it almost every single race this season, admittedly this one wasn't his fault but he got airborne because of how fast he came around the corner and spotters had enough time to tell him about it. The other cars seemed to slow a little but he went into it full throttle and looking at the reply if Pato wasn't there the Succucci probably would have grazed the wall with the left side of his car anyway. What a moron!
Dont know why penske still keeps Power in duty. race 2 newton luckily, and ONLY bcs Luck, last victory, but many races before just got attention by appearing agrevated, and doing dumb things. So many times blamed to cause a collision. THIS dude should not be on any track anymore. He just get acceptable ranks by hitting rivals off track. Quite good in recall how he once attempting assault to Dixon. Verbal and almost physical. Even beside this little weak man would have no chance - physically. He definately needs to get the red card! I remember Power taking out Montoya in the last race of the season, think 2015. Again his teammate. That was even worse as Montoya was on course to take the title. Power crashed into him and cost him the championship. Dixon won it because Power is a bit of a maniac on the track. Always been quick but not exactly too bright upstairs

It was said that an advantage was that they can start themselves, but so could the old car if starters were allowed. Is this still a spec series where everyone runs the same chassis?? One of the best things about Indycar is the mix of different types of tracks they run. Super speedways, Short track ovals, road courses and street courses all drive differently and you have to be good at all 4 to win consistently in this series.
It was so great not to have Lee Diffey in the commentary box again, thank you so much, it is so much more enjoyable to watch with out Lee Diffey screaming at us like an 80's rocky jockey screaming ridiculous immature embarrassing things at us. What a joy, keep it up.

1:40 for the incident that dropped Canapino out of leaders circle contention, which led to him getting replaced.
Well for a few minutes we had 4 Anzacs in the top six with McLaughlin, Dixon, Power and Armstrong.
