There’s no grommet’s for cables because those cars didn’t come with cables. The 5speed cars had linkage under the car from the trans to the bottom of the shifter
you definitely should get the lock out for the shifter box so you dont money shift it and they have the little stopper plates that bolt on to prevent the shifter cables from stretching
the ecu uses the wideband signal as a reference, THAT is why tuners want it plugged in through the ecu, so it can help monitor and protect the motor with kill safes. yeah YOU the human can look at the gauge. bt the ecu cant unless tied together ;)

Your supposed to use the base plate for the shifter to bolt to dj it gose over the factory lip that u grinded down u didn't have to do that the base plate bolts to the 2 factory shifter holes then the shfiter bolts down on the plate 😂🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
