Bro install the greddy exhaust from the muffler back towards the header then have spoon cut and weld to fit that is a solid exhaust and will probably sound great

Heads up on the alternator debacle, the battery light on the dashboard completes the circuit to “excite” the field in the alternator. If you don’t have the battery light lighting, it won’t kick on.
at the start if you ran a clutch type pulley like in german cars on the alternator i think it would of been enough for it to run like it was routed before but since you didnt run clutch pulley on it thats why it didnt and needs more contact
