One of the things I was most anxious about was how they could possibly top “Welcome to Wildemount”. I was sure I would be disappointed. Hearing this in theaters completely soothed my fears.
Tal'Dorei Theme: "Explore, uncover, and behold the beauty of this world! See what it has to offer, and realize that it is worth saving!" Wildemount Theme: "The world is a dangerous place, especially for those who wander carelessly. It will rip into you with all it has, so return the favor ten fold!" Marquet Theme: "Cruelty. Anguish. Fear. Dread... You will experience these things as many do, but do not falter. No matter how many times you fall, stand up and KEEP. ON. FIGHTING!"
i am so excited for campiagn three , and so glad its in marquet , cause am middle eastern and matt already started including more middle eastern things into exandria like the Simurgh creature the wilders were riding , its a persian mythical animal ,and this soundtrack is dope
you know how welcome to wildemount is now just the mighty nein's theme? I mean, whenever I hear it I'm instantly transported back to the thrill of watching it for the first time. It might be a little different this time bc they don't do the art reel during break, but I can't wait for this to become the new party's theme, not just marquet's.
Update: one player went to go open a chest in the middle of combat and found out it was a mimic. One thing led to another and the mimic knocked him unconscious after depleting his hp pool and then he ended up failing all three death saves. (there were two chests, one was a mimic, the other wasn't) Another player knocked a rot troll down to 0 health and ran over to cast revivify so it turned out good for them. Rot troll of course came back to life but that didn't last long. Man, meat grinder's are fun. I'm also working on making a one shot for my fam on thanksgiving. My lil bro is gonna be a gnome sorcerer with wild magic LUL. I'm honestly having fun being a DM. Havn't been one for long but I'm getting the hang of things now. One of these days I'll be a player.
I find it funny how Campaign 3 is in Marquet, a desert region full of mystery and wonder......and how I finished watching(for the third time) Dune which takes place on a desert planet. I feel like Matt knew this would be a theme for 2021 lol
I think Deserts are great environments for story telling, because not only do you have man vs. man conflicts, but you also have man vs. nature a lot more than you might with plains and forests. I just started doing my very first campaign and knew that a desert would be the best place to go, not only because of the environmental dangers, but also because there are so many great real world cultures to draw from, such as the Old West, the Arabian desert, the Egyptians, or even something Indian. There is so much variety and possibility that I'm honestly more people don't do desert stuff more often.
this soundtrack is amaazing, glad they are exploring more of the middle eastern themes and i cannot wait to watch how matt handles it. Love from Saudi Arabia been playing D&D since 2017.
Aw man, I miss the fan art reel. I don't really dig the official art, so I always skip it despite the dope music (and I don't watch live, because it's the middle of the night where I live)
Okay, but I need some help, I love this song, but I can’t seem to find it on Spotify, is it not on Spotify or is it just hard to find? Can someone help me out?
I tried to find them when I uploaded this. Do you know who composed this (other than critical role who I have credited for now)? Any help would be appreciated! Smiley day to you!
I'm legitimately impressed with how they managed to so vividly capture the feeling of a Middle Eastern fantasy epic adventure without using ANY native instrumentation to strategically avoid angering any SJWs. This campaign is gonna have a lot of difficulty tiptoing around cultural identity issues, but if anyone can pull it off, the CritRole crew can. I'm looking forward to it. Also saving this to favorites. Banger music is banger.

Very cool dude
Giving up my ticket to see episode one in theaters was incredibly hard to do
@@Obelisk492 How did you get tickets in the first place? Did they advertise it on their website or their socials?
Not gonna lie, Welcome to Wildemount is still numero uno for me. I can listen to it a lot longer than this one.
I think the reason it succeeds is because it doesn’t try to “Top” WtW. It does its own thing and has its own unique energy.

Wildemount Theme: "The world is a dangerous place, especially for those who wander carelessly. It will rip into you with all it has, so return the favor ten fold!"
Marquet Theme: "Cruelty. Anguish. Fear. Dread... You will experience these things as many do, but do not falter. No matter how many times you fall, stand up and KEEP. ON. FIGHTING!"
This is probably my favorite soundtrack from all 3 campaigns, can't stop listening to it.
It's definitely the best yet.

yeah, and I also hope their will be a flair of old universal mummy adventure movies too, that would be nice.

Hey, if you miss the art reel, then check out my other videos! Next one’s already in the pipeline!
Our boy Colm McGuinness knocking it out of the park again with this composition. 💜
Too bad they didn’t credit him in this description..
@@timelessadventurer that's cause this aint an official channel in any way.
2:07 the bass absolutely KILLS ME, such a good addition for that ominous twist
SAME…. then the lilting flute back to unsettling bass right after so good
Makes me think of some of the best flourishes done by Djawadi. Always love that addition to any composition.
You know.... I was really going to miss Welcome to Wildemount as the intro song, but goddamn this track is fire.
Using this amazing music to fuel me as I finish making a one shot for the weekend.

Bless you for getting this up so quickly
Add 1d4 to all saving throws and attack rolls made to put music on the internet.
I love how its dark in places, great vibe for a third theme.
I love the sharpening of blades sound effects in the beat
this soundtrack is amaazing, glad they are exploring more of the middle eastern themes and i cannot wait to watch how matt handles it. Love from Saudi Arabia been playing D&D since 2017.
Man, episode 3 was a blast, this campaign is already so good
Witcher 3 vibes are strong with this one
thank you SO much. I've had this stuck in my head since last night!
And there's already a 1 hour cut.... And bookmarked
You have just earned another subscriber my friend, I think I'll be coming back to this channel alot.
This. Track. Slaps. So. MUCH.
44:22 the music really picks up
I mean, this will totally become the theme of one of my npc
I could (and i will) listen this for hours. Amazing!
Every time I hear the opening theme all I can hear is Shinsuke Nakumura's entrance song
It's so weird when I see my favorite pastimes getting mixed together randomly.
It has a deep Karl Sanders vibe, which I love. Good work!
Love it. WIldemount theme still reigns supreme for me.
this song is so inspiring
Has a bit of an ominous edge to it
The music is huge for me. Nothing tops welcome to wildemount but man this is close.
😊thank you!
this is fucking awesome
Can anyone tell me when is this song available on iTunes? I can’t find it…😢
What's up with Crit Role themes being so good...
Is it monday morning yet?
Wait a seccoonn ... am I halucinating? or are those critical roll characters?
oh... I am soo sleepy I didn't know on what I am clicking :D :D :D
Who is the figure in the center supposed to be? All of the players are accounted for on both sides.. is it Matt?
It gives me serious Uncharted vibes. Not sure why? Mayhaps the "oriental" strings?
Aw man, I miss the fan art reel. I don't really dig the official art, so I always skip it despite the dope music (and I don't watch live, because it's the middle of the night where I live)
Could someone be kind enough to make a timestamp playlist of each song, please?
This is just a loop of the main theme 😅
Okay, but I need some help, I love this song, but I can’t seem to find it on Spotify, is it not on Spotify or is it just hard to find? Can someone help me out?
It’s not on Apple Music either
So reminiscent if the Witcher, especially the 3rd game
What is the name of this song. I can't find welcome to Marquet on iTunes
Some serious Diablo II vibes
Is it on iTunes yet?
This couldn’t be a better picture if they tried.
Maybe a better position for Fjord cause you can easily miss him.
@@andrewdowns3673 what? *looks* Oof.
Sounds a lot like the WItcher at the start
Please credit the original composer to this piece.

THE MEAT MAN COMETH
Alright, hear me out…
Best thing about this art is the inclusion of Molly/Kingsly… way too much art leave him out
Where is he? I don't see him in there.

Oh I thought that was Jester. No need to be a jerk about it.
I love this new theme so much, but with that violin all I can hear is Breath of the Wild
