@@morguwu3297 nope, it was made specifically for critical role. But since matt uses so much The Witcher music in the episodes, i wouldn't be surprised if the artist tried to imitate that same vibe.
I heard this and immediately thought of all my past campaigns. Imagine the camera chasing into a forest and centering on a lone dusty book, the book slowly opens (cue violins) as a single black line of ink flows over the page chasing to the music. It branches off into other lines each spiraling in and around each other. The camera changes to various close ups of the page, seeing an arm, a sword, a shield, until visible characters, each unique, somehow showing their varying stories through a single moment, different yet somehow connected are revealed. Finally (at crescendo) the camera zooms out to reveal a created coat of arms showing each character, fitting into the whole, entirely created of ink and lines, until the ink line quickly darts off as the page flips to a blank one and starts again.
Thank you for making this loop! I also really love Critical Role and the composer of this song and I found myself just putting the art reel from a random episode on in the background just so I could listen to this music continuously, this makes it way easier!
For anyone else looking for more stuff like this, I recently listened to Total War Warhammer 3's soundtrack. Especially the tracks dedicated to Kislev impart a lot of the same cold, triumphant and mountaineous vibes as this wonderful piece here. The Witcher 3 was mentioned before but I will also plug its soundtrack too in this comment.
Hey everyone! Thanks for listening and enjoying the music! We actually play our own D&D game, and we just officially launched our first episode on Spotify! You can check it out here - open.spotify.com/show/4jXurnOXDOD1NePhtV9ZiT?si=ca1448b2e51744af
Can anyone tell me what that deep note is played on? Is it double bass? The whole instrumental choice for this track is on point but that bass line takes my breath away, every time.
I believe it is actually just a cello. In the original video you can see him playing it. (maybe actually recording it?) ua-cam.com/video/WEQC2HyhgTc/v-deo.html
When the dust of deliciousness finally hits
We played this at the end of our last session in which we wrapped up an intense battle. Song is just too epic
That's why I made it! I wanted to be able to play it on Discord during my battles. It's so great!
Yea, kinda miss the old one as break music. Because while this song is badass, doesn't fit too well for the art break.
@@frogthetoad6773 Fits much better. At least in my opinion. Epic music for epic art!
This sounds so much like Witcher 3 music, I’m surprised it’s not
ITS NOT??? I THOUGHT IT WAS FOR SO LONG

But this is far better imo (I'm not saying the Witcher 3's music is bad)
@@JacobGrim most are a more epic take on traditional folk music of course. That's what makes it rub our brains the right way.

Loes van der Meer Thanks! I just listen to it sometimes too
I use this song to study because I associate it with excitement and it makes studying a lot better
This song and this comment has helped me a lot recently.
Thanks! Also using this for D&D, for when things go really south!
Double H It’s the music I use to open up combat. Gives it real gravitas
@@robheath22 Feels more like exploration music to me! Guess I need to try it during a battle!
@@robheath22 great use to pump up mode in lol champ pick

@@robheath22 hell yeah. May your games be ever thrilling
I jump into this video at least once on days where I don't have Crit Role or Talks to watch. Makes it feel like when they go on break
You've probably been visiting this video a lot lately...
For a second i was hoping it is the "welcome to Xhorhasic park" part looped xd
POV: You fell asleep watching Campaign 2 and the episode you were on just ended.
Thank you so much! Now I can finally go to sleep ❤
Seems like what I need to use as a fitting ending song for my wildemount campaign.
Currently playing this during my group’s break for dinner lol
lol most epic dinner music ever
... And welcome back.
This song hits all the right tones 😌
Always gotta play this before we start our session
Great for get hype

I can't not hear Sam doing the "AaaaaaaaaaAAAaaaaaaAAAAAAAH" bits
This is still the version I play during the fanart break, I can't get myself to like the new one ♡
and there’s the finale of campaign 2 :(
This sounds like a song for a climactic battle or a high stakes travel scene
