I had an IS 300 AWD. Great road handling, great air conditioning system, composed ride and you could have some fun with it. Biggest let downs; you have to get gas every five minutes due to a small tank, the infotainment system and navigation system are dated and always behind new developments, no apple car play, the tires suck up nails like they are designed for it, the chairs were too tight, the safety systems were way too finicky, emergency braking for things on the side of the road and curbs.

I don’t understand why Lexus came up with all these engine options? The mileage is barely different between the Turbo 4 and the V6 in the 350. Who is really going spring for a sport sedan and want a doggy engine for a 1 to 2 mpg improvement? Just offer the V6 like they did in 2015 and call it a day.
TheDoltonboy I think the price is much cheaper for the 300. I have a 2019 300 and I remember it was a pretty significant price diff between it and the 350. I agree with you tho the AWD engine option is unnecessary
The first and second generation IS Lexus was purely Lexus. The third generation is 70% Toyota bin parts 30% Lexus body. I own one 2015 version ... including the previous generations
The model has not truly changed since the introduction of this generation back in 2013. The 2016 introduced the is300 and 2017 began to integrate Toyota safety sense as a standard along with current styling. Save yourself money if you are looking an is300 and look into earlier year models. These models also allow for easier tuning (aka is 350) and come with all features mentioned in this video. It is kinda sad to see that this car still doesn't come with an up to date entertainment system and features that rival other manufacturers such as Lincoln or BMW. All that said, you are still getting good reliability. The platform is good but it can be modified with minimal effort to meet today's competition.
I was considering going with a camry xse from an IS 350 fsport, I test drove it and....nope, I couldn't get over the overall feeling of downgrade and inferior quality. Ended up getting a GS 350 fsport instead that had more luxury and options than the IS I had lol
Wtf. What changes? I have a 2015 IS and it looks the fucking same. I'm confused. Maybe the steering wheel controls are different? THE FUCKING RIMS ARE THE SAME! Jesus christ I'll just tell people my car is a 2020 now instead of it actually being a 2015.

Ronald David Ok fair enough, that’s a respectable car. I’m considering getting an is350 or something because my boosted 86 is becoming a pain to daily and I need that luxury.
Tyler N should’ve never bought an 86. Those things are lawnmowers but at least you boosted it. Is350 are ok but if you can save more money get yourself an F you’ll never forget it
