Hey there! Don't give up, you will definitely get better. Try to look at videos that give more general building and decoration advice and try to apply that stuff to your build. It also helped me in the passed to basically just copy a build from youtube, and then living in it for a bit, and then start adapting things to my own liking (like add a balcony, remove some walls, or add a room, whatever, you know?). Just keep experimenting a lot with building, and you'll notice you WILL improve. Just soak up tips of thought processes of builders as well as the actual tricks they use to create certain things. Scripting tends to add more natural flow while getting the points you want to discuss taken care of. As you've shown, it's possible to write in natural speech patterns and entertainment that doesn't rely on spur of the moment. I find that separating a script into segments to record in one day helps a lot with redoing things. You can do many takes for each part and choose which to do. Tip: a granny smith apple and a glass of fresh water can help you balance and remove mouth noises during recording. The pH of the apple's juices helps with the stickiness in your mouth most of the time. I struggle with a cheap mic, so I use this whenever I need to. Also, your production, while simple in style, must take ages. I commend you for taking the time. What programs do you use? I'm at a loss for where to even start to make my own designs for inclusion during editing. No idea what to search or look for on the internet to learn.
Well said! @@Immanis_Vir Yeah I cant do a script without a glass of water. I feel that. I would recommend this or adobe premiere once you've tried out a cheaper program and have gotten used to the basics(trimming, default transitions, basic text, etc.) and have decided that editing is something you want to get into. This is the most magnificent castle I’ve seen in Valheim. You really have a gift, and I appreciate the research! I’m not sure why people get so bent out of shape about mods and copying and pasting. It’s still YOUR design, and those mega builds would take sooo much longer without using the copy paste feature. Who has time for that? I love the build. It’s so detailed! I’m going to have to watch the video again a few times just to be able to take it all in. 🧡

I have to admit I was *slightly* disappointed by the copy-pasting, but I'm honestly so blown away by what you're able to achieve regardless. Also I think this is the most detailed building I've ever seen in Valheim.
youre obviously using a world edit like mod for the copy paste functions but is there also a mod that removes the structural limitaions in valheim? never seen stone got so far without collapsing
Is it even possible to copy the seed and paste it as if it’s your own? Or what mod does it take to do that copy paste structure thing? Sorry I’m asking a lot that just looks so freaking awesome
That's sick! Dont know much about the modding scene yet @@9byte I was looking for inspiration or vanilla survival but this might be too challenging for me! haha

These are cool, But i feel It loses a lot of what makes is awesome when you use commands to place things & don't build them organically... It's still cool, don't get me wrong, but it loses something...
You must be using a mod that makes it so you don't haveto support your structures. you are 20 stone blocks high with no support. This is beyond unrealistic for vanilla players.

Whats the mod you use to copy hole sections of buildings?
Infinity hammer mod. Help in my discord on mods and the mods that you should be using with this.
I have to admit I was *slightly* disappointed by the copy-pasting, but I'm honestly so blown away by what you're able to achieve regardless.
Also I think this is the most detailed building I've ever seen in Valheim.
Thanks
so cool , where can I get green stones from?
how do you copy paste entire buildings and not just singular blocks ? awesome job btw
Thanks. Infinity hammer mod. Help in my discord if you need it
You should stagger your blocks.😋
youre obviously using a world edit like mod for the copy paste functions but is there also a mod that removes the structural limitaions in valheim? never seen stone got so far without collapsing
How do you copy paste your builds? Do you use a mod or is there a dev command for that?
i would like a video on how to farm mats for a castle of this size please :)
Step 1 left click step 2 repeat
Very nice work! How do those copypaste commands work though? mods?
Is it even possible to copy the seed and paste it as if it’s your own? Or what mod does it take to do that copy paste structure thing? Sorry I’m asking a lot that just looks so freaking awesome
Do you play with mods in these builds?
YES mod list in description.
if you decide to try out mods we can answer any questions you have in my discord

off the edge of the world. Need mods to do it. Join my discord for help if you need it.
Does this build hold up in vanilla or would the integrity not work
The whole build is built with infinite health pieces that will last forever with or without mods. 👍
That's sick! Dont know much about the modding scene yet @@9byte I was looking for inspiration or vanilla survival but this might be too challenging for me! haha
I see. My village build tutorial series might help you then. @@TheSoCanadian Feel free to join the discord and ask any Valheim questions you want and I also have resources for learning and getting started there.

you lost me half way across, but this looks so fucking hot...
a lot of the things there i have no clue how they are built
These are cool, But i feel It loses a lot of what makes is awesome when you use commands to place things & don't build them organically... It's still cool, don't get me wrong, but it loses something...
this is modded right?
I want to like the video, but it already has 69 likes. I'm sure you understand. 0 dislikes though, eyyyyy
Don't say the M word if you don't want Shad to show up... particularly if they aren't functional...
How to build in Valheim:
Learn to build in real life then download mods because you can’t.
You must be using a mod that makes it so you don't haveto support your structures. you are 20 stone blocks high with no support.
This is beyond unrealistic for vanilla players.
Bastions, waste of rocks in survival.
