I love how you stated that people complain about the price of eggs going up, but will spend crazy amounts of money on a cup of coffee. It makes me think of those people who don’t want to eat meat because they’re afraid of cholesterol and heart disease, but continue to smoke. I guess it’s all about priorities.

Coffee is my last drug to go, and one of the hardest. I love it, but hate it. I've quit cigarettes when I was 21, stopped smoking cigars when I was 38, and stopped carb and sugar cravings when I was 45. But coffee? That is a whole other monster. A massive psychiatric drug that is extremely addictive. I have tried to quit 10 times in the last 10 years but still need to drink that garbage in the morning. It makes me more stressed, gives me some panics and makes me tired. But I am hooked. Hopfully I will come back here in months time and give you a success story. God bless you.

I had to cut out coffee 3 years ago due to developing panic attacks and IBS-D. I drank 4-5 shots of espresso, (Americano's) every day but the beans were part robusto and arabica (Italy brand)so they were very strong. I don't know what happened but one day boom, panic. It was awful. I can drink decaf organic swiss water processed espresso now if I want to but I don't need it. I LOVE not needing coffee to get going in the morning! I used to HAVE to drink it or my day couldn't begin!! Freedom! Thanks Maria!!!

Coffee always made me more talkative and actually changed my mood. That never really bothered me, it was actually a good, fun thing. I eat really clean carnivore and noticed that coffee was making me anxious. That's why I had to lay it down. I heard about the potential blockage of mineral absorption and the acid that potentially hurts the stomach and gut biome. That was troubling me also. I finally just quit about 6 weeks ago. Boy, do I miss it. Especially when my big Italian family is over on a Sunday and espresso is served. But I'm not going back. Do I feel better? I don't think I feel any change at all, yet. If I need something warm, I boil water and put a bit of butter in it with some Redmond's real salt. Literally 1/2 tsp butter, to 16 oz hot water. It's soothing. It's not every day.. but it works for me. Thanks for sharing all that you do!

Years ago I used to drink coffee all day long on weekdays and often had headaches on the weekends, which was the result of drinking less. Much more recently I had one or two cups of double espresso with HWC in the am, however, after getting some food poisoning, coffee really caused severe digestive issues so I gave it up about 2 years ago and don’t use HWC anymore either.
I drink warmed homemade bone broth now. I’m glad you’ve made the comparison with eggs and coffee. Even if you make your own coffee it still more expensive than eggs. Eggs are still the most nutrient dense food for our buck.

I gave up coffee for 6 weeks last November but the fatigue and depression got the better of me. I started again but joined the gym and started walking every day and worked on my mindset. I’ve been gradually coming off it with caffeine pills and now down to 2 cups of white tea a day. Coffee gave me heart palpitations and anxiety and digestive symptoms. Even Swiss water decaf gave me gut issues. Also taking LThianine and SAMe has helped my mood. Feeling accomplished 😅. Thanks for the video ❤

How would you be able to help me with personal advice about sleep. I can fall asleep ( around 9.30 pm ) but I always wake up later. Usually at 12.30 and then i do breathing exercises or listen to an audio book and fall back asleep until 2.30 or 3am when I wake again. In one of your videos you mention that you could recommend supplements for this ?I would be so grateful for a personal consult about this. How can I go about this? Also …. I live in South Africa so a lot of things are not available here . Amazon is the only reliable source but is horrendously expensive. Do you think you could recommend something available here ? But my Fasted insulin is always low, less than 2.5 I’m wearing the CGM to refine my lifestyle. My dexa scan shows as high as bone density can be.
