Inspector Pete is very busy in this video, bonsai and cat patrol, I hope he gets time and a half for his efforts! Great camera, editing and bonsai work in this video Scott, the lighting in the greenhouse is superb, makes for a great video. The cascade turned out really nice, it looks like it was made for the pot.
The 'Winn Zone' is certainly filling up. If you're the same as the rest of us when we see a tree it's, "One more tree won't hurt - I'll fit it in" until that overflow moment arrives. I can see an outhouse building arriving soon to house bags, pots etc. We've all been there !
Just watch the second part of your video again. You've really got a good thing going there I have been busy doing other things this year but next year I am getting stuck in and concentrate just on one hobby thank you for sharing your knowledge Scott. See you soon mate
Thanks Michael, its very easy to mixed up in several jobs and hobbies i know this first hand, i find myself excusing the responsibility of doing one thing to do another normally easier and then not even complete that - not any more, well hopefully not any more lol. See you soon Michael!
So close to 4K broski!!! Well deserved. Nice collection of sediments!!! I am a bit jelous. I am down to a huge bag of perlite and sone recycled potting mix. Time to get to a nursery. Cheers broski 😎🍺🍺Hi Pete!!!
Fantastic setup Scott. I’ve been nursing my jacaranda for about two years now but it seems to be in a state of suspended animation. Hopefully it will get its mojo back soon. Your soil mix looks ideal. Thanks, keep growing
Thanks Matt, hopefully I haven’t done too much at this time of year but we will see. I hope yours starts growing hopefully spring will bring it in to life next year.
A lot of potting for you to do. Lots of work. Mask good for all that dust on the sifting. From the outside from what I see, at least not cold out by you yet. At least the wind taking the dust away.
Your very own personal “bonsai zone” looks phenomenal! Looks like you’re almost ready to expand already 😄. I’m digging the new cameras and angles. The new mics did great at canceling the wind and still catching your voice.
Thank you - im happy with the area “the zone” and yes im already thinking how to make it bigger lol, hoping part 3 will have better camera action as well

Pete’s keeping me on me toes all the time lol, i just need to improve the angle of the go pro, maybe in part 3 it will be better.
Nice potting mix. Getting our hands dirty reminds us of being kids playing in the soil and not afraid of getting dirty. Cool.
Yes lets not be afraid to get our hands dirty - mine are always dirty lol

That new potting mixture really does a go job going into the roots for you and holds the tree well also. Great video Scott.
Thanks Tom, the worm castings are a really good addition i got them purely because of you so thank you.
@@LetsDoBonsai I know that the worm castings will help a lot for you. They do for me. Brrrrr. 37F/3C. Time for hot tea.

There’s so much to do but its pitch black when i get back now this time of year so im a bit limited but i will keep at it
Interesting, I may have to try to keep a jacaranda in a pot that small.

Hi Scott, where did you get that green watering can from? Great videos as all ways! Keep growing.
They’re all from Haws
Dont the egg shells make the soil to alkaline? BTW I am very jealous of your yard and green houses!
What soil do you us for your junipers?
At the moment im using the same mix for everything, i will see what these new Junipers are in and let you know
