Omg thank you!!!Y attention span doesn’t allow me to watch some of these videos on UA-cam because they spend 10 minutes prefacing the video. Also you are beautiful! Definitely following. This was helpful. I do everything else but I don’t wrap my hair. Thank you
Love this look on you! I just wanted to share that I use a few drops of hyaluronic acid to moisturize my locs. I apply it after misting them evenly with my spray bottle (water + a few drops of any essential oil). I think a lot of people sleep on this tbh. It makes your hair feel and look SUPER healthy and hydrated. It’s similar to what it’s like when you use coconut oil, but without weighing it down or making it greasy. Hyaluronic acid is also water soluble so there’s no worry about excessive buildup. Hope this suggestion helps someone :)🖤
In order to keep my starter locs moist I steam my hair after moisturizing it and go to sleep with a plastic bag on my head. Since its the winter time I also go outside with a plastic cap on(with a headwrap on top), and just take everything off when I get to my destination. It keeps my hair moist. I do that for 3 days and on the 4th day I remoisturize my hair and/or wash it if it's dirty
This!!! This is what I was looking for it makes a huge difference! I have locs down to my 🍑let me miss a day of not drinking enough water my hair will definitely show it lol
My locs went through a brittle phase, so I went back to my tried and true hair mayonnaise. My hair loves protein. I mix a bit of the mayonnaise with my conditioner
I heard that you shouldn't wash your hair if you're far away from a retwist, how do i keep my parts and not tangle my hair when washing between retwists?
Thank you for sharing. All valuable information. I am embracing my grays, so coloring is not a factor. I also drink close to a gallon of water everyday. Keep these videos coming.
Spraying my hair with anything does nothing. That includes rosewater. Spray and then oil does nothing. I can't wash it a lot either. Yet it's flourishing. When did dry hair become so taboo?
Okay so I screwed my locs UP. Dyed them 50 billion times & now they’re brittle and the dye is probably eating at them and allat so how do I restore them?

I wish my hair every 2weeks or every other Sunday's is that bad. I'm 1yr and 3mths and i want to color my hair ombre is it safe to lighten with dark and lovely blonde or bleaching b4 i get the color I want over it
I used the same conditioner before getting my locs, I didn't change my routine only limited the creams and butter. I shampoo my hair every two weeks with a clarifying shampoo followed by a moisturizer shampoo, (to put the moisture back that the clarifying shampoo strips). I mist my locs daily with, Aleo Vera juice, Rosemary water, a water base leave-in conditioner, and essential oils.
How do you combat the dryness around areas where your glasses reside? Around my ears where the arms of my glasses sit I have chronic dryness. I have come to just dealing with it. But it is an annoyance
@@jusme2266 omg same with me!!! My edges where my glasses arms are, I feel like their thinning. I feel like if I didn’t wear glasses my hair would be able to be in contact with water, sunlight and stimulation much more.

My understanding is that conditioner, oil, & ALL hair products cause buildup, gunk, & dried flakes to get TRAPPED in your locs & Once that stuff gets TRAPPED in your locs, you CANNOT get it out👎🏽 Anyone who can, please address these concerns. Thanks🙏🏽🙏🏽
All products CAN cause build up. Based on how frequently or how thoroughly you wash, you can absolutely get rid of it. There are also ways to deep clean your locs as well.
My advice is to stick to water based or water soluble products that will dissolve entirely when washed. I wash weekly with a clarifying shampoo (diluted with water) and then a moisturising shampoo (also diluted) and then spray daily with rose/rosemary water and deep condition every 2 weeks with raw aloe vera gel. I retwist whenever I feel like it with homemade flaxseed gel. No oil (which stops actual moisture aka water from penetrating the hair follicle, dries out the scalp and attracts lint) or products.

I love this. I just dyed my locs recently at the hair salon. I use moisturizer conditioner, oils on my locs and batana oil on my roots
Look@that short pony tail.Who is this.I know your loving the break from all that length.Beautiful!
Lmaooo I’m completely stalling on taking the braids out bc it’s gonna be kinda long again 😭😭 thanks sis!
I heard if you keep on watering your hair every day u really drying your hair more what you think about that?
Great advice… ❤Your locs are absolutely gorgeous on you and I love your beauty mole
Purchased your rose water and refill
Conditioner soften my locs.. do you recommend a conditioner
I personally prefer silk over Satin . I got me some 100% silk pillow cases
Where did you find them?
@ Amazon prime unfortunately
I heard that you shouldn't wash your hair if you're far away from a retwist, how do i keep my parts and not tangle my hair when washing between retwists?
After a wash…while wet, pull your hair apart from the roots…just check your roots periodically

When should I wash my hair after getting starter Locs
can you do a video on moisturizing dyed locs. i use henna to dye my locs and to hide my grays so oiling can be counterproductive
would appreciate it
Can i use an aloe plant as a moisturizer for my locs?
Thank you so much for your help for dry locks. I really needed help with this❤❤❤
Spraying my hair with anything does nothing. That includes rosewater. Spray and then oil does nothing. I can't wash it a lot either. Yet it's flourishing. When did dry hair become so taboo?
Most people with dry hair experience breakage. And it doesn’t feel good for dry hair to be touching your skin either.
If your hair is not breaking or thinning thenit's probably not too dry
Water love increase your water intake
You’re probably using a product that your hair doesn’t agree with. You have to find something that fits your hair
Okay so I screwed my locs UP. Dyed them 50 billion times & now they’re brittle and the dye is probably eating at them and allat so how do I restore them?
So how often are you supposed to wash your hair?

Hi Keisha!
What is your recommended monthly hair routine? How often to use shampoo, conditioner, leave-in, etc.
I can’t recommend a monthly routine bc there are so many factors; density, porosity, texture, climate, environment, lifestyle, etc. You have to learn your hair by trying things.
What's a good conditioner for your locs
Do you sell products to the UK? Also, do you do products for those of us on a tight budget?
Simple and to the point. Thanks
How often should I wash my hair
I’m curious did you every talk about thinning locs
I’m sure I have. Do you have any particular questions about thinning?
Nevermind you answer the question in this video

I’ve never heard of that before. Have you considered maybe you’re sensitive to the material of your glasses?
I’ve had it with all types of frames, wire or plastic.

@@jusme2266 that’s strange. I wear glasses 90% of the time but don’t experience this. I’m wondering if your glasses are too tight.
Great points 👉 🤗👑💕
Thank you ❤
Not for me !!!!! Dries my hair out😳
Why hairdresser saying don’t wash your hair?
I also found I wasn't drinking enough water.
Should you use a conditioner on your locs everyday?
i thought wetting your locs makes it nappy tho
The one thing i fully disagree with is protecting ourselves from any natural element.
you so pretty
Aww thanks!
I got to start using WATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Keisha which brand would you recommend for hot oil treatment’s?
Mine. I use the Horsetail Leaf Growth Oil for hot oil treatments on my shop.
