I use that product (po4 rx), but id suggest using the hanna ulr when you're dealing with trace amounts (.05 or less ppm) of po4. Its a vastly superior instrument than trying to deciper a color chart from white and barely off white. Happy Reefing!

Yeah I have the Hanna Alk tester and love it! I have been thinking about the phosphate tester from Hannah as well!

The problem with using pho’s rx is that it mimics calcium so your calcium readings will be higher than actual calcium and coral skeleton absorbs it causing skeletons to crumble over time I wouldn’t advise using this

Hi....I quit using a while ago....but I personally never had a issue with false calcium readings on my Hanna digital, or Salfert. I haven't heard of that from other reefers eaither, nor did I have coral issues. It is good info if someone were to use it on a routine basis though. I use NOPOX daily so no issues with phosphates any more. 😀

      @@WRASSEREEFCHANNEL what's your method now?

@@Sammy31Dee Hi....I use Red Sea NOPOX now. Works great if you follow the directions. 10ml once a day. Keeps phosphates and nitrates low and stable.
