France and Italy have been stealing all the resources in Africa for 400 years. They lobby any right wing corrupt dictator to avoid protectionist and socialist policies in Africa which would lead to their Independence and economic development.
@@noesherco2996 You can use road ss26 + d1090 + n90 but only if you have a truck with a total weight of up to 16 tons. But even in this case it is advisable to go through the Mont Blanc tunnel for an easier way.
Hello. The mountain route is only good for tourist trips. If you are a driver and your company sends you through mountain routes (we mean for this particular route) it is good to know that they are abusing your profession.
Price for trucks, it is very much cheaper for cars :) There is a new railway Lyon-Turin under construction until 2035 (with a tunnel under the Alps as well). It will give more solutions to send people and objects to Italy. Also, the Alps mountains are a quite difficult area, top railways are difficult to use and were even destroyed last years after floods. The tunnel of the Mont Blanc is very long, so not surprised by the price. The infrastructure behind it is important. The fire risk inside, the digging which was a difficult project because of the nature or the stone etc.
380€ is pretty cheap if you consider the infrastructure behind it. It's still heavily subsidized. Moreover, merchandise should travel by train not by the inefficient and polluting trucks...
The train line Lyon-Turin with a tunnel under the Alpes mountains is under construction until 2035. Today, Railways on top of the Alps mountains are quite difficult to use and you cannot ship everything with these railways. Last year, floods destroyed part of those railways and they cannot be used anymore. The Lyon-Milan railway with TGV (high speed train) and tunnel under the Alps will give a new way to send people and objects to Italy. Ecologists are opposed to the tunnel, but their arguments are weak.

spanish has nothing to do here. The signs are in Italian and French as that's where the tunnel is and English so any foreigner understands. Spanish is spoken by only 50M people in Europe

I've done this EXPENSIVE tunnel once by passenger car! NEVER AGAIN !!! The tunnel stinks!! You best close your windows and ventilation inlet before entering the tunnel !! The only advantage of this tunnel is that it declines a little, from Italy to France! So you accelerate to 80 km/h, put it in neutral (if possible!) and when you come out of the tunnel at Chamonix you're still going 80 km/h But it's far more beautiful (and cheaper) to drive via Aosta/Col du Grand Bernard/Martigny/ Col du Forclaz/ Chamonix, unless you're in a hurry, of course !!

I done that route with a Luton before brexit. You get tunnel vision after a while.
True. I drove French side to Italian in a car and found it very difficult to concentrate.

Almost all have automatic gearboxes. I guess if you want you can order a manual, but I don't know which brand offers it.
