Not sure about carnatic. But in Hindustani Yaman and Yaman Kalyan is different. In Yaman, Ma is Teevra whereas in Yaman Kalyan Ma is shuddha.

No, it's not. Yaman and Yaman Kalyani are not the same as Kalyani. In Carnatic, it's called Yamuna Kalyani, similar to but different from Kalyani.
