Can I ask a question, I was wondering how the UV printing holds up outside, in weather, moisture or extreme heat. Are there special inks you use if you know it will be outside? Or do you need to apply a clear protective film of some sort over it. Thanks!
Is the ink transparent? Example: printing 2 of those signs you made. Let's call one A and the other B. If I put the printed surfaces of A and B against each together, and I look through A, would I see the ink on B? Or if I have blue(A) and red(B) ink surfaces touching, will they create a purple? Also, how does it look from the reverse side of the ink?
The ink is not transparent Tim - though we do have a clear ink that we use for finishing sometimes, but I don't think that's what you're asking. The inks form a colorful, solid graphic, you can see through the acrylic to back because it's actually reverse printed on the back of that acrylic. If you were looking at the back of the graphic you would see mostly white ink
@@ColDesiColman Would the opposite be possible, having a layer of color, then white on top? So if you were looking at the back, you would see the image, but the printed surface would be white.
Hi there! great video! I've got a UV printer but when used on acrylic it peels off... i've tried everything but it just does not stick, could you please help me, thank you in advance!
Hi Mario, a lot depends on the ink set, but you probably need to use a "promoter", which is a kind of pretreatment that you wipe on before you print. Contact your manufacturer for their recommendations.
I would recommend finding another company if you are looking for a UV Printer. I regret buying my iUV 600s, way too much wasted time as this thing has endless connection problems and Unknown errors. pretty sure they ship these things with a gremlin inside.

I wish they would reply to your question. This is what I need to know as well.
Is it single pass mode?
how to set Xy posing in uv print ....when i print design not centre printing on materila
Hmm, that doesn't sound like a compress uv printer issue - but the way we center most simply is actually printing an outline on the bed first

How thick can it print? There are some printers on the market that can print tactile-thickness (.032"+).
Hey Aversas - head for the website and chat about that - let's make sure you're application is in line with what the printer can do
How much it cost ?
Thanks !

Did you buy it from Coldesi? I have never had a connection problem. Not even once. Did you ask for tech support?
