Out of curiosity do things like hydrogel or hydrocolloid bandages help with your self-injuring tics? Mostly for friction protection, or do your tics pull them off since it’s a sensory stimulation? I also wonder if compression garments might help since they’re harder to remove and would prevent friction or scratch damage.

if you had a self injury tic and someone sees it and is very frequent, is ok to trying to stop you or it just let it stop over time?
