Yah, very good move. No one is doing this stuff. it allows us to understand how a lake is best fished in a single day and to get multiple perspectives, many times it's just a single anglers perspective.

Nice to see two styles side by side w/results. My fishing partner loves his shallow targets and I do it all but prefer more the off shore structure. Great video.

Awesome video. I like to see videos like this that give 2 examples of places on the same lake, same time. My hardest choice on a new lake is should I go shallow or off shore. This is great!

When lakes flood most bass go shallow. When lakes drop or lower they pull out off shore. Notable exceptions are deep winter and brutal summer. There is always fish both shallow and deep. But easy way to know what to do is the lake lowering or rising.

It seems that Randy was around fish but could have executed better. He probably would've had better results with moving baits.
I'm a die hard shallow guy that fishes mostly resiviors. When the water is up just a little flipping is the way to go, however, when it's up that high you need something that can get up in there. A heavier spinner bait or even a square bill (if you're willing to take that risk) is more effective. The fish rarely stage on the very outer edge of the cover when the water is that high, plus you can cover more water.

I wander if upgrading hook size would have helped as well. But very well may have diminished the action of the bait..

Did I hear you say in the beginning of the video Table Rock was 17ft high?.because Table Rock is actually only 7 ft above normal summer pool right now.its at 924.35 and the highest it got this year was 14 ft above summer pool but last time it was at that height was 2-3 weeks ago.they're dropping it about a foot every couple of days
