As a woman, if I'm alone in a mixed bathroom and a man enters that bathroom, I feel alert and uncomfortable. A simple push into a stall is a risk. I don't want men or people who look like men (I don't know!!! And I don't want to need to ask) to enter the toilet that I'm using!

Havent you got anything better to talk about. Its very easy. Many small cafes and establishments have one toilet for everyone. It has one toilet and a locked door. Everyone can use it. Perfect. Having special toilets does not reduce violent sexual offences. If it does then I would like to see the evidence. Trans people should be allowed to use the toilet they identify with their gender. I really dont think it offends many people and again I would ask for evidence of the number of people disturbed by or concerned about this issue

How do you expect a single woman to feel if she enters a large shopping centre toilets, and finds herself sharing with 3 six foot transwomen?

So, you're comfortable with men sharing toilets and changing rooms with women and girls? Forget the 'trans' aspect. How is anyone supposed to tell if a bloke self-identifies as 'trans' anyway?

Years ago the numbers of transsexuals was miniscule; today there are many many more, and they don't even have to have had surgery or even present as female.
You know as well as all of us Robbie love that trans Identified males NEVER FULLY PASS. We always know and therefore we would always know if they were using female toilets where they do not belong. And it would make a great deal of females uncomfortable

Since trans women are men, I think you can simplify your question to why men in women's bathrooms are a problem. And I can see why women would feel unsafe with men in their bathrooms, even though most men are harmless, a small group of them are predators. You can also this with the prisons' populations, where an disproportionate number (per capita) of trans women are in prison for sex-related offenses.
