Now, in response to your comment, I so agree with you. It's always about ones preference. Hence I preferred to spend the same amount and buy a device that doesn't look like all the phones I've used since 2017 and yet has value for money.

That's exactly what happened with me. The MacBook is a great product and total value for money but the iphone is simply overrated for a common man.
