This was a real installation we came across, not made up. Yes, it was hard to believe.

Pretty obvious that this was a temporary setup just being used to test the sensor. Those wires wouldn’t survive the first weekly mowing. Ridiculous to use this as an example of an actual installation

It was how some company installed it a few years ago and left it and we were called in to find out why things weren't working. It actually was a real installation. Wires seemed to survive those 2 years at least.
