Adrian...Thank you very much for this SUPERB video! Greatly appreciated!! Can you please tell me what type of battery this rain sensor uses and how long I should expect the battery to last under normal use?
Thanks for the video. I just installed this system. When I tested it out, the X showed up on my sensor, but the sprinklers did not turn off. It seems like my WR2 is not communicating with my ESP-Me. Any suggestions?
We have this system in the house we just moved into and it's terrible. Whoever designed the interface for these is an idiot. The Rainbird system I had in the other house was much better and very easy to use. For some reason rain sensor doesn't seem to be working (even though it looks like it should be... I think.) and we now have a pond in our back yard after the last rain.
Thanks, my landscaper never finished setting mine up and this is super helpful
Life saver video. My new sensor never works. I just figured out I have to replace my battery and re-configure them.

I don’t believe it will stop a manual watering, just a scheduled watering. Perhaps you turned it on manually to test the sensor.
Nice job
Thanks!

MAGA MAN you might have a to clean the sensor I’m sure or you don’t have it in the right direction. My works great!
lol..
What's with the mom and little girl at the end? Kinda creepy...doesn't have anything to do with installing a rain sensor.
