Cybertruck Off-Road Hell's Gate

- Tesla’s efforts to promote the Cybertruck as a legitimate off-road vehicle continue with a new video showcasing the all-electric pickup truck taking on Hell’s Gate at Hell’s Revenge in Moab, Utah. As can be seen in the video, the Cybertruck was able to climb out of Hell’s Gate without breaking a sweat.
Similar to Tesla’s other promotional videos, the Cybertruck’s Hell’s Gate climb at Hell’s Revenge was presented without much fanfare. It simply depicted the all-electric pickup truck, which appeared to be stock, taking on the steep, rocky trail proficiently. When it reached the top of Hell’s Gate, the Cybertruck was met by Tesla’s two Baja Cybertruck prototypes, which have already completed the climb.
Tesla Cybertruck Lead Engineer Wes Morill noted in a post on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, that the Cybertruck featured in the promotional video was a tri-motor Cyberbeast. The two Baja Cybertrucks that were already at the top of the climb, on the other hand, were dual-motor versions of the all-electric pickup truck. As noted by the Tesla engineer, the Cyberbeast makes off-roading pretty easy. - Авто та транспорт
Iv seen matts off road recovery go up this countless times. The other people just dont know what they are doing hence why they flip because they rush it and think they know what they are doing
Derr I've watched a professional off-road recovery specialist do this and I can say without a doubt it's not hard...
@@forgotenhatred never said it wasn’t difficult. Other people just rush it and have to have the “biggest balls” in the friend group hence why they total their rig.
So we got a call!
Lol watching it out phone and then even on the side of the slick rock is completely different then navigating behind the wheel
Trail mater went up it backwards in an old 80s truck lol
I'm still not buying that shit
Yeah never
@@SurprisedCobra-zz2do or even a ttv6
Not to mention the Cybertruck has not been crash tested and does not have a safety rating
Nobody is asking you to?
You will give up gas cars and drive electric cars, its a mandate!
Ive seen guys go up hells gate in bone stock ww2 jeeps like alot of others said its all about the driver
If I remember correctly a guy did it once in dodge neon
A ww2 jeep is great off road.
@@edub1170 a NEON?? WHAT THE FUCK, I NEED TO SEE THAT VIDEO
True, but coupled of skilled drivers with a funny vehicle will never make it either. You need a combination of both to reach the top otherwise i bet you won't live long enough to find out if this is true or not. This proves enough that cybertruck could join other trucks capable of conquering the hills.
@@putinslittlehacker4793better than most now it weights like 2500lbs when a stock jeep new is 4100
Notice he said skilled drivers it’s not the car it’s the driver
oh yeah use a stock pickup with the same driver
Cybertruck is a stock pickup...
My 01 tacoma could do this with ease.
Noshit, your truck is probably 4 thousand pounds lighter @drewfoster1493
Cool
@@yoyodavid exactly why electric trucks don't make sense. More curb weight means less payload (the whole point of buying a truck).
Even the Old beetle can traverse that💀
As the owner of a beetle I’d do it 40 sec or less
bro whisltin diesel drove a 1989 toyota hilux that was beat to shit and had no coolan watch it its called toyota hilux durability test 2 or it might be 3 i cant remember

I noticed it showed more of other people failures than showing the truck actually making all the way through the course.
I’ve watched Whistlindiesel take a Hilux up that hill
You make it sound like the hilux was bad
@@LeoMkII it's not that, but apparently it's more about driver skill than anything. Some other commenter said that there's a video around of a guy driving a Dodge Neon up there. A FUCKING DODGE NEON.😂
and the hilux is 30 years old with barely 90hp imagine that!
@@whotf888it was his first time I Believe. He did it in much less then 1min, and proceeded to do it again, then after that he tried backwards and almost did it.

Now let's see a snowy driveway...
All about the driver anyway.
Wait for the test of The Legend WhistlinDiesel
Any 4wd/awd with lockers or similar can make that. But my question is how did it have enough battery to get out there and back 😂
There’s charging stations in the middle of Moab just for that. The 4xE wranglers use em.
330 miles in a cybertruck 🔥... Pissn u off more? Lol 😂
Cybertruck in the desert, cant rust if it dont rain.
Correction: it's not off-roading. It's hill climbing.
Cybertruck can't off-road. It'll stuck itself in the mud.😂
Off-Roading mean off the road. How could you fucked up English soo bad
correction: its utter garbage and why hasnt anyone drove its cybertruck up there?! why the manufacturer???????????????
Guess you didn't see the video of them driving the Baja 1000 route. Or do you not consider THAT off road either? Lol

Rory Irish drove Trailmater up Hells Gate _backwards._ And if you don't know Trailmater, it's an off road tow truck worth looking up. Although its a real truck, not an EV.
Well this EV which apparently isn't a real truck did Hells Gate and did it pretty quick and effortless. So it gets the job done.

@@themustangboy8472 Yes and it went very smooth. If you can do something quick and smooth at the same time, it doesn't get any better.
You are all just trying to find reasons to bash this Cyber truck. I am sure it isn't perfect, but it is doing pretty well including this kind of offroading
*Truck:* "A pickup truck or pickup is a light-duty truck that has an enclosed cabin, and a back end made up of a cargo bed that is enclosed by three low walls with no roof (this cargo bed back end sometimes consists of a tailgate and removable covering)."
By that definition, the Cybertruck is a real truck and Trailmater is not.
Still didnt show the cybertruck completing ig 😂
The official Tesla video shows.
I just saw one of these on fire from off roading. The funny thing is these are all new cars.
Seen one smoking on the side of the highway
"Look guys, I told you my car wasn't a giant waste of money!"
Everything going up hell's gate is a giant waste of money aka fun
A crown Victoria did hell’s gate, this means nothing 😂
What would mean "something" to you? You'll keep on crapping on this truck, even if it does something awesome. It's physically impossible to impress people like you, because you aren't willing to have an open mind.

unless i see the full unedited clip i wont believe a word elon says hes been lying for 10 years where is the 500 mile range cybertruck huh

anyone who gives a dime to MUSK deserves the truck they get
Let me guess, you’re upset he allows free speech on Twitter?
They can take where ever they want if it gets there with batteries we don’t want it.
We all know that G-Wagon holds the record blown tire or not 😂
Yes after that they used a diesel generator to power it up again
You have no clue about electric motors? offroading in EVs is very efficient. Unless of course it is in sand, that is a different story
I bet the guy in that yellow Jeep saw his life flash before his eyes.
And then the steering knuckle breaks from lateral force applied, teslas are fragile.
Teslas are specifically built for idiots.

Probably got the best rock climb driver there’s ever been in there
That cause the cyber truck has such a low point of gravity a long with being very heavy
It's heavy and has torque, people are pointing out online where the cyber truck got stuck on slight mud/snow inclines. I didn't think anyone was doubting it can climb steep dry Moab rock. Take it through the devil's hot tub.
I went up it in my 2005 Jeep Cherokee on 37s I rushed and broke my driveshaft put a new one in Aired tires down alot and just crawled up it going slow. It was alot of fun ❤❤
Even the g wagon went faster than the cybertruck
Yo the pedestrian disintegrator 5000 can go up small hills now! 🤯
Fragile ego check ✅
The low center of gravity really helps it on this

Is the video also fake just like the Porsche vid?
How many times did they have to charge it 😂

My Friend’s CT already bricked due to rain/puddles. Tesla’s service so far has been horrendous, it’s been a nightmare, dude was so excited to get it too. I feel bad for him.

Turn radio off and AC before you climb, and you will still prob burn 85% of the battery. Don't ever take those things away from a charger
its where the place Whistlin Diesel took his very old hilux, turtured brutally before hell gate but still made it out.
As long as they entered the pissing contest take it mud bogging for a hilarious 30 second video. I mean, that's truck stuff, right?
Would love to see it handle some Australian tracks. Can’t say I’d ever buy one anyways but it’d be fun to watch
All about hiring the right driver
Devils Hot Tub is the real test
I watched a Porsche suv do this with ease the other day
The low center of gravity is def a huge advantage + super precise individual power distribution you get with 4motor EVs
Where’s the video? I didn’t see the truck perform one climb successfully.
Imagine paying 120k for off roading 💀
What u don’t see is the tow wires 😂
It’s Elmo burning for me😂
The point of this is just to show it’s fit for this climb.. Yes a skilled driver is needed, they’re just showing the cyber truck can handle this with a skilled driver.

Just saw a donut video saying otherwise. Tesla should admit that the Cybertruck is a pavement princess
It looks hard but it’s actually really easy, it’s got plenty of grip and isn’t too hard overall as long as you have common sense

Some guys sent an R6 motorcycle up it too
But I also don’t wanna blow up while driving peacefully down the road

That’s low center of gravity of the battery will help balancing.
Now let's see if it can drive through snowy, muddy road.
this isn't impressive at all. It's been done in crown vics, ASTRO vans and many other vehicles that aren't ment for offroading.
