Having just won her fifth global 500m title in Kolomna (and done a lowland sub-75 again!), Lee Sang-hwa is not far off from becoming the 500m GOAT. Should she win the next two titles in her home country (2017 SD Worlds and Pyeongchang 2018), IMO she will earn that status. On another subject, the Dutch dominance of the speed skating programme in Sochi was such that they made the podium in every single event - hell, not even their Achilles heel (this very event as it happens) could deny them a top-3 finish. [P.S. It's a shame the variety of 'as-broadcast' Sochi 2014 footage made available for public viewing post-Games is nowhere near what was made available for London 2012...]
