You know what you can say if you finished last in an Olympic race?
That you finished an Olympic race. That is better than nearly anyone else can say.

How could the commentator not have mentioned Tina Maze as a favourite here? Baffled....

To me looks even better than some men races. Really a marvellous performance to watch! The terrain, the curves, the jumps - everything’s comes together and on point.

Can you put this gorgeous event without commentators. Thank you!

I like it more without a narrator like the 2010 Vancouver Olympics where all you hear are the natural sounds on the competition, like the sound of the snow as the skier passes by , the crow cheering, the helicopter filming, the athletes preparing themselves. A complete different story without the narrator ...as if you were there.

      More vivid and more relaxing.
      Thank you!!

Gisin was soooooooooooo lucky that Miss Maze made a mistake right in one of the last turns... Still, great race...both...
DOES ANYBODY HAS THE ˝GHOST COMPARISON˝ OF MAZE AND GISIN?!?!
I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to see it and find out how they were changing their respective positions, you know-especially where Tina lost 0.38 seconds... Great race, BOTH...!!! TOO BAD they are both retired now...

Well, Gisin could have been faster in the first sections, did some mistakes there. Maze lost the time in the turn to the right before the last bigger jump (at 1:22 in their runs). Gisin raced it perfectly while Maze (and all the others) didn't catch is as well as her. Really carving through and still not too wide in line. She took a lot of tempo to the last seconds and found the perfect line in a good position there (as Maze too, but she didn't have as much tempo because of the turn at 1:22)

I wished it would be like the 2008 and 2010 Olympics when we just watch the events without commentary. Sure some may disagree but sometimes I like to watch and listen to the environment there.

Who are the play-by-play and color commentators? Sounds like a British play-by-play announcer and North American color commentator, but I'm not sure about their names.

I hope Lotte Smiseth Sejersted will take part in the next Olympics. She is (was?) a very exciting racer. Didn't see her at the last World Championships, though...

Wow. Great to see the entire race, again. Artistry as well as athleticism. I still don't understand why two golds, a silver, and a bronze weren't awarded. Why should identical fastest times eliminate silver/second place? Gut had the second best time, and got bronze.

This is Great announcing. Unlike American announcers who try to portray people as hero's and such, these 2 just describe what is happening. I can't bear to listen to american announcers for anything.
