How this literally came up when I was just observing my relationship with money and I relate to this so much. I'm late to the video but thank you for this.❤
This video is old but I relate so much to you. I also did not have a healthy exposure to money growing up. My dad’s finances were very scattered and created feelings of instability. Now that I am grown I feel like I need to be in constant control of my money. I have a good savings but I feel like what do I do now. I spent most of my youth studying and saving that I didn’t have all these experiences my friends and others have had. I was gonna go back to school but now I’m not sure if it’s worth it and whether I should just be happy with what I have and enjoy life instead of always trying to upgrade myself. Subscribed. Looking forward to your upcoming videos
Bless your lovely soul ❤ I’m 25 living with my parents and somewhat relate to what you said. What’s inspire me most about your speech is us making a move if we want to change. I want to have my own apartment or house too but I havent got a single plan for it 😢. Gotta do it now! Also I want to share that maybe spending money with your good friend is a really good way to feel happy. I made some new friend at work and it really helps when you have a blast drinking beers or eating out or whatever. Set that money aside for social events help me control my budget while enjoying life 😊
Something similar happens to me, I work really hard to make more money and never feel like I have enough saved even though like half my paycheck is saved and I don't even know what else to buy with the extra money.
Everything you mentioned is exactly why I'm leaving the country and moving to Asia. I've been planning it for the past 3 years. I'm outta here in year 2025. Now you gotta get back into working better in IT again. That was your armor. You need to focus on that more. Its not your fault you're struggling to save money. Just need to make more. Thats just by design. America is going through a heavy inflation period right now. So your money is losing value each year. Making you poor. If I was you I'd either move to a cheaper state or just leave the country. Overseas is way cheaper to live. Before you get stuck here in a hole and lose your mobility. Because Its only gotta get worse. It's cool to see that you're becoming more aware though.
I’ve most recently just thought about that. It’s true it seems like we all have and see that American Dream but in reality we aren’t seeing the truth behind it and don’t realize what we really want!
