my hair texture is coarse but naturally 3b. ive been using this for a year now, only needed sessions 2-3 times to touch up new growth, and i LOVE it. my stylist only does 3-4 passes with the flat iron so i maintain some waviness at a 2b/c. my hair is so much more manageable and beautiful. it looks so much longer and shinier, and this had kept it healthy!
I'm not sure which one to choose in terms of being healthier for the hair. Design essentials or Avalon.I heard design essentials is less harsh because you only need 2 passes. Which one do you suggest if you want to keep your hair healthy and manageable and why?
I'm a natural stylist who is focuses on healthy hair for my clients. I just don't know about blowdrying, then passing a flat iron a total of 10xs...and what's the ingredients? Seems like gloves would not be needed for amino acids. I'm somewhat interested, but as you can see I have a lot of questions. Only want to do what's best for my clients. Thanks.
I love this product I moved from California to Atlanta Georgia and I cannot find a stylist that uses this product. I am so disappointed. This product is awesome.
I was wondering the samething. At this point I'm convinced they left the Dilator instructions out to make up go get our hair done by a professional in a salon.
I did this treatment and it has to be one of the worst decisions I have made. My curl pattern loosened and my hair is thinner since doing the Avlon texture release.
I have natural red hair I don’t like to do my hair often I normally do straight hair in the fall/winter into spring and natural twist in the summer I’m in Texas and I wash cars so this worked great staying straight buttttt it’s been 5 months I have new growth but my treated hair is still straight. after watching this video it seems he failed to mention to do natural styling I would need the cream he said it washes out overtime and to shampoo every week he would also get upset if I didn’t shampoo because it was more work for him but he charges 250-300 for application and he doesn’t do natural hair 🙄
I hope this isn’t just keratin treatment being sold to us using different language. Does she the hair totally revert to pre-treatment status? Please do show videos, cause I’ve heard about people noticing a difference between new growth and texture-release treated hair.
Tha worked really well for me, made my hair curlier and more manageable but my hair is VERY thick I would not recommend this for anyone who doesn't have very thick hair or whose hair is thin.

That's a lot of heat that has to be applied to the hair though. Can you rewash and still get the few months of straight hair by repeat drying and straightening?
@@TheAnonyy hey so I have actually had this treatment done once in the salon. My opinion it's worth it for winter. Less frizz in damp weather usually my frizzes up in minutes but this helped. When you wash your hair it goes back to afro. So really it's been worth it for less frizz when styling hair with flat iron but I wear my hair natural mostly so I didnt feel the need to do it again. Maybe once a year for winter but I'm not in a rush. I do think it alters your curl patter slightly. My hair is not so curly anymore but maybe thats due to length and age haha
Yes it did help with frizz for months after washing and straightening again. But I guess it depends how often you wash your hair will determine how long you see the benefits for
In my opinion, as a licensed professional, omit the flat iron process, and just blow it out straight and just rewet it. The heat is what drives the system into the hair strands.
What’s does the texture release solution do? Does it change ph? My hair is very sensitive to ph and will become super frizzy is it’s changes too much and will never be glossy again
@@comelitelesch9140 You are so wrong. The hair will revert to it's initial curl pattern after a few months. It's the clients choice to have the system re-applied if desired. Stop giving out false information.

If it only loosens your curl pattern permanently my hair would be straight.
+Kelli Graham Hello My name is Nikki Wilson and Im a Hairstylist in Texas, and I use the Texture Release in my salon, so to answer your question. 1) Your hair will only revert back to its natural curl pattern when you shampoo it, the amino acid oils gradually wear out of you hair like a color rinse over time. the system allows you to wear your hair straight without the problems some naturals face like reversion due to body heat temperature or the humidity of the weather. And as for your loose curl pattern I understand what you are saying if its already loose it may not have room to revert back to its natural state. I suggest you have a professional stylist to examine your curl and give you recommendations of what to do.. Also I would recommend using LRC Natural haircare line.. unlike the Avalon system its a line of products designed to help naturals who don't want the commitment of a straightening system the choice of wearing your hair straight and also lasts through the humid weather. Keep it natural stylist sis! A wash and press or silk press with good products is good enough.
