Thank you for the video. Very useful tips! I have very crowded and very crooked teeth and have just found out (at the age of 61) that they can be straightened with Invisalign. I have had the consultation, scans etc and now have had the Invisalign plan sent to me. I am now waiting for confirmation of the cost before I decide whether to go ahead. Do you think 61 is too old to start this kind of treatment? I do also have some quite large fillings in the back teeth and one crown.
A really interesting and informative video, Thanks! I'm getting invisalign in two weeks to correct a crossbite and crowding. The correction to my V shape arch is amazing. I've had problems breathing through my nose for as long as I can remember and what you were explaining was really interesting, I had no idea that could change your teeth.

Hello, I have several questions. the first: what is the difference between Invisalign light Invisalign full? if you can not move some teeth is it good to pass a fixed dental device?
Thanks for the questions! Invisalign Light is when simply the front teeth are moved. This is generally done when someone only wants the appearance of their front teeth changed and would rather not move everything else. Invisalign Full is the movement of all teeth. I normally recommend Invisalign Full because often the entirety of your oral health is better when all of your teeth are moved into better positions (i.e. less wear over time/gum recession etc.). Invisalign is actually really great for someone who has dental implants or bridges because we can control where the force is applied on the teeth so can make sure those teeth aren't pushed on. As for regular orthodontic braces, I am less sure how you avoid applying force on fixed teeth because that is not in my wheelhouse.
Thank you for the video it was very informative. Im on tray 9 of 40. Struggling a bit but im sticking with it.The Invisalign diet is getting to me. I've lost 25 lbs in 4 months so far😬
@@peggybowndentistry1791 It's going well!! Im on tray 29 of 40. Corona virus has changed it up a bit. Now i have my appointments thru zoom, and my aligners get mailed to me. I have a virtual adjustment coming up soon. Then i should be finished hopefully by October.

I can be a bit impatient when it comes to taking my aligners out. But the treatment still worked! :P
