Elin I have the same style battery in my 4A, and I also didn’t like how close the battery clamp was to the terminals. So what I did was move the clamp to the top of the battery. I placed it over the plastic battery handle. It worked great. The handle even helps the clamp from shifting.👍

Elin you're either not giving Rusty enough exercise or he's being fed too much. Labrador's and Retrievers are prone to getting fat pretty quickly if they eat too much and don't get enough exercise, remember they're gun dogs they need to get a lot of exercise.
