In this review, I showcase the new 2018 Honda CR-V in the EX model. The CR-V comes as a 2WD or AWD option. On the EX you get heated seats, power seats, apple car play, android auto, blind spot indicators, and Honda Sensing just to name a few. This CR-V now comes standard with a 1.5T engine with a CVT transmission.

Nice review. I'm picking up a 2018 CR-V tomorrow morning. This helps me get started on knowing the controls and their locations.

Very Important things to know about remote start that I learned hard way:
A maximum of two remote starts or
a start with an extension are
allowed between ignition cycles.
The ignition must be turned on and
then back off to use remote start
again
For a 10-minute extension, after
30 seconds repeat Steps 1 and 2
while the engine is still running. The
remote start can be extended once.
When the remote start is extended,
the second 10 minutes will be
added.
For example, if the engine has been
running for 10 minutes, and
10 minutes are added, the engine
will run for a total of 20 minutes.
Just bought a 2018 crv Touring and I love it. It has everything and more ~ Drives and Rides so much better then the 2015 Chev Equinox I traded in and a lot more power.... Beautiful Honda :)

The background noise is due to Bridgestone tires that is installed in the factory. They are very noisy in the highway,the tires have much more noise than my Firestone USA winter tires. i have the CRV 2017 and really like it.

Does this model have active grill shutters? I know the2017 does, so i figured this feature would carry over. Also honda did away with lane
What is the background noise? Sounds windy, like a fan or an open window.
you should talk about engine and transmission, those 2 are the heart and soul of anhy vehicle
Would love to seea comparison between crv and murano they are both 5 passenger, 2 ton crossovers with cvts. They are not often compared despite being very similar. Thanks!
Hey, could you tell me where the OBD 2 port is located for the 2018 CRV-EXL model? I can’t seem to find it to hook up my t-Mobile drive sync hotspot.
Good video, great information but it's time for a lav mic. That will cut out all the car noise and make you far easier to hear. Other than that, good job.

I am a huge crv fan! Can you explore the traffic sign reader technology. I hear the car will recognize speed limits and warn or adjtst speed accordjngly. Awesome. Also, vtec is pretty impressive on its own, but add a turbo and the wctive grill shutters that make the car super slippery. I cant see how it only hits7. 5seconds from 0-60 based on car and driver's track run( yn regular drive mode. Dont understand why reviewers dont test these runs in sport mode by default. I am guessing it would hit closer to 7. 0 in sport mode with its light chasis. I just want it to be faster than the murano'. Please test. Love your channel.

I was thinking about getting 2018 CRV, but one thing I haven't been able to find out is, is there anything you can get to be able to hook up Aux audio to the car?
I don't believe so unless you can find a usb to aux adapter

I see a bunch of video on a 2018 CRV EX-L with the infotainment center. They are displaying the Compass directions on the top part of the display screen I have a 2018 with navigation and have not figured out how to display the N,S.E W coordinates on the monitor. Does anyone know how this is done?

The engine leaks，you should check the engine oil level ,because the gasoline sucked and mixed with engine oil.
So what happen here? The original video included a test drive and all the comments said that vehicle is objectionably too loud.
So then the test drive is removed from the video?
Hmm. A bit embarrassing it seems.
Honda's seem consistently loud, better then they have been historically but they still have a gap here. The CRV seems to be evidence of this continuing problem.
This video was shot without a mic. The audio on the test drive was admittedly terrible quality, therefore. I deleted the test drive portion. If you would like a better test drive with better audio I have posted a new CR-V test drive on another channel called "Hennessy Honda Of Woodstock". Thanks for watching!
I'm surprised Honda let you release this video, I have the exact car and it doesent sound that loud , you may be scarring customers away. Trash this one and make a new one with the correct Mic
on the positive side you dont blast a lot of loud rap/hip-hop music that drowns out your voice.

My friend says it consume a lot of gas.
No, i drive it perfectly..29-30 miles per gallon in city and ~32-33 miles per gallon on highways. Always drive on eco mode. Never had any problems on performance or power
