The comment section is the best part of You tube. The content may vary greatly. But the comments are the best most raw information. Often adding details to a story. Sometimes better then the censored news report.

I’m virtually bed ridden. UA-cam is such a big part of my existence. I love connecting with content creators, and would support when I could…until I found out they take 50% of things like super thanks. So we, as consumers, think we’re helping the people we want to support, then UA-cam takes half of everything we’re giving to those people. In essence, when we think we’re being nice, and sending someone, say, $50. They only get $25, and YT says thank you so much.

He suddenly developed a stuttering problem when she asked him about using UA-cam videos for AI. This guy is a terrible liar. When she asks him at the end of the video how he stays so calm all the time, his stuttering problem went away and he stated smiling agian.
They should just straight up allow the AI to be trained on their videos, that would solve the problem. Because you can't really make an AGI without UA-cam quickly, but with UA-cam there's so much data you could upgrade AI extremely and it would know pretty much everything about the world.
This one along with Google's Sundar on AI only prove that media trained CEOs give boring interviews. They barely answer anything. Everything seems vague and normative. I hardly gain valuable information. That's a shame because some of Emily's questions are provoking and interesting.

youtube is the only platform from any tech company where i dont want anything to takeover in the future. one of things that makes it so unique to everyone else, is its rich history. seeing videos say '18-20yrs ago' and seeing comments as old along side it, literally takes you back to a different time of the internet, there's nothing that can ever touch that.

I feel like when someone says "Shields up" Neal Mohan steps in. He's really an expert on dodging questions and giving generic answers you can only agree on. This is fine that is his job here. But I would liked to get to know a bit more about how he thinks, what drives his decision making, why he specifically became the new ceo, and why they really wanted to hold on to him.
Straight Up. This new UA-cam CEO.....is the BOSS. After he took over. Everything became better. I started making more $$$$. The platform as a WHOLE.............Improved BIG TIME. Ive noticed a shift on UA-cam since Mohan took over in a positive sign, my hope is to continue to create more balance and most importantly not be dictated by sponsors and advertisers which is not easy but doable, being able to let the audience decide for themselves and not push a narrative that is detrimental in the end.

Sundar Pichai overcame that a long time ago but the other ones need to learn how to be more comfortable in an interview. Emily seems to be one of the best interviewers' of all time.
I think you weren't paying attention. He only gave very few answers relevant to questions. There was too much of word salad here. Everything about this show is great except for the answers of the guests.

I hope you bring back your partnership with western union because its very convenient for creators from 3rd world countries or far flung areas. Some banks don't recognize UA-cam. They also need documents, IDs, proof, maintaining balance, fees despite occasional glitches. Its very cumbersome for small creators.
What I heard on AI: We have altered contracts with some creators to allow their data to be scraped without paying them directly to see if the market will respond favorably to our parent company's wholistic business model. Openai leadership is under an NDA until we can strategically monetize.
Ya that felt incredibly wrong, so I googled it: 3.7 million new videos are uploaded to UA-cam every day, which is about 271,330 hours of video content.
I believe its time to change the perspective of people the way they intract with the devices and consume content by streamlining and optimising the process .

Excellent conversation The premium content is burried out in the backyard of the server and unless end user don't do an explicit search it doesn't popup and user endup watching the dumb content that is served on the homepage .The idea of sharing the content sharing their opinion and creating awareness about the products and services is missing When we talk about ecosystem or inclusive growth it mean a fair opportunity presented to all content creators and individual to provide them exposure on the platform in order to reach to mass audiences instead of focusing on ad revenue only .categorise sorting and then recommended suggestions can be accomplished in a better way . In short organization is what expected for a seamless user experience.

Lot are of the Indian Tech CEOs are from engineering background, and most of the best programers are introverts, which makes public speaking hard.

There's another service I think YT can venture into: premium video hosting like Vimeo, Wistia. YT already have the tech, capacity and expertise.
