Whenever I'm feeling a little overwhelmed with life... I just turn on Sam the Cooking Guy and life gets instantly better.... Thank you guys for everything you do! Always fun!!!
I made this yesterday using Sam's recipe here and it is delicious, creamy sauce with soft onions and the sun dried tomatoes. I didn't have fresh basic so I used my dried leaves cultivated from my garden. I would definitely make this again for company. Thanks Sam for all you do with your channel.
Sam, the energy, affection and anticipation of your intros always puts a smile on my face and jets me happily into the content. Thanks. And we're "here for you" too, guys!
Here's an idea of what to make. Every day sides. most of us are pressed for time in the evening and just go straight to boxed sides with some pan seared chicken or similar. I'd love to see what kind of easy sides you could dream up. One in particular I know you could do better is chicken flavored Rice-A-Roni. It's my son's favorite right now and I would like to see how you could make something like that better.
Dude you’re the best cooking channel i’ve ever watched! i’m currently in the hospital and was needing some youtube to watch and found your channel to my delight! refreshingly unscripted, candid, funny AF 😂, and just straight up awesome and delish! Cheers, Sam.
I use the sun dried tomato oil to marinate my chicken and I also add white wine to deglaze the pan after sautéing onions and garlic. All the other ingredients look great! I add the chicken to a bed of pasta and this is a very decadent pasta dish and the leftovers are also amazing.
Started making this a couple of months ago with an ample addition of fresh Parmesan- not sure I’d want to omit that but your recipe looks great and your humor never disappoints! We enjoy it with salmon and I’ve also tried a chicken variation on a slider bun with melted cheeses. Great flavor combos!
Whatever I'm making, I play your videos so it feels like we're cooking together. I'm making your Saucy Pasty while I watch this video. Thank you for helping to simplify my cooking and being great company in the kitchen, you and your boys.
Been watching you for years, was looking for something to make tonight and forgot about this video. Wife and kids loved it just didn’t overdue the pepper flakes. Additions were as followed and everyone’s plates were clean. Breasts instead of thighs. Chopped celery added in with onions. Fire roasted tomatoes instead of sun dried. Wife made a nice sourdough so I made it with 1.5x chicken broth and all seasonings besides pepper flakes. From Wisconsin so we 3x the cheese. And of course was plated on top of some rigatoni. Love you Sam. This week making the slow cooker braised short ribs.
I’ve looked at it…then I did a Tuscan chicken, switched chicken for smoked salmon, used cream, salt, pepper, garlic powder, real minced garlic, added sliced olives (I’m not a mushroom fan), chopped chives, sun dried tomatoes, grated cheese….beautiful ❤
Very similar to something that I've cooked for years. Except that I didn't use thyme, added more basil.. and a very secret weapon, top with goat cheese. Either way, I'm going to try this variation. Thank you.
I made this tonight and it was absolutely amazing! Keto friendly so that was a plus! I had it over a bed of quinoa. Yummy! My husband was a fan.. We love your channel!
Dear Chef Sam, Again, thank you for adding the recipe to your recipe page. You have no idea how frustrating. it is not to have a full recipe to follow. unlike some of your other UA-cam colleagues, you take care of us. Your Fan, Jack
Wife told me about the marry me chicken recipe a few weeks ago. I was hesitant to make it but she bought all the ingredients so I didn't really have a choice. Ended up making it and loving it, one of the best meals I've made at home!
Will be making this soon. But I made your Chinese Lettuce Wraps this last weekend and nailed it... Thank you a bunch... There were no left overs, so I'll be making it at least once a month. Keep them wanting MORE.
A gussied up chicken piccata. In the south we call this a smother or in NOLA an etouffee. What ever you call it it's delicious over rice, mashed potatoes or pasta.
next time you need to use sun dried tomatoes try putting them in your blender/ food processor. That way you get the wonderful taste w/out the nasty texture of the sun dried tomatoes! Luv your vids.
This looks pretty simple and went together fast. Sun dried tomatoes seemed to be in everything back in the 90s. I didn't think they were still a "thing". . I heard that with rendering meats like bacon and pancetta it's best to start with a cold pan and gradually let it heat up. But then I thought, what about all those diners that just toss bacon on a hot griddle? Maybe they're not concerned with rendering as opposed to just frying the meat?
Sam, you always bring the fun with your videos, thx for that. Now I will always refer to this as F me chicken! I love how you are teaching so many young people to cook and by the huge amounts of comments, they are loving it. There is some major good karma for you in that action, Sam.
Hey Sam, just had surgery this past year and I gotta lay off the fat and salt. Can you just mention (and try) some low sodium low fat options? One I use is plain greek yogurt instead of heavy cream. Thanks
You should try Chicken pot pie inside a pumpkin. Hollow out the pumpkin. Fill it and put the pie dough covering the hole in the pumpkin. Something I did for the family a while ago and it’s the season for it!!!!
I stumbled across this basic recipe as "Tuscan Salmon" when I first saw it. It was a little different, but I have made it with chicken as well as salmon. It is a fabulous flavor combination to be sure.
I once made a potato soup that made my boyfriend propose. I said yes, but later broke off the engagement. Thank god - he turned into Ned Flanders. Dodged a bullet on that one!
He nailed this recipe it is absolutely delicious. Using boneless thighs is key. Breasts are too lean the thighs are always tender and juicy. I didn’t have sun dried tomatoes so I used a can of diced tomatoes came out great. Would also be very good with some mushrooms. Great recipe.
I made a very similar dish to this for my wife 5 years ago when I asked her to marry me. My version is more of a blackened cajun style chicken with andouille sausage.
Okay, I made this and it was delicious. However, I think the next time I do I'm going to blend the sauce before adding the cheese and the basil, and then add the chicken back in. We like a lot of veggies in my house but, it was just very... chunky? I did dice everything because I didn't think it would cook down enough otherwise, ending up with a bit of a salsa. While it wasn't bad, by any means, if I can't define some different textures in the dish then I think smooth would be better. I served it will raviolis' and a thicker sauce would lend well to a pasta too, I think. Love your videos, man. Thanks for sharing!
Hey guys, Matt Allen here, welcome back to Tactical Bassin. Today we're gonna make some marry me chicken, try throwing it up shallow and if that works we're gonna move back deep for those fired up fall bass. Come along.
Sam, I am cracking up. So enjoy your new recipe title and your sardonic wit! Request time: really want to see what you do with tortilla Espanola. I lived in Spain as a teenager and learned how to make this from the sweetest housekeeper named Toni who was employed by my family. Watching her cook true Spanish food woke up the cook inside me. Thanks to Toni for my love of cooking a tortilla Espanola to this day.
Sup Sam SUGGESTION: A new play on a crab cake like new from your mind🫣 lol, make a sun dried tomato pesto and add it to a sauce, ragu, Bolognese.. I tried this, was ok, second time used the pesto mentioned, added Calabrian chilies and was better lol. Tyvm tc
So I made this last night....sorta. Used Tony Chachere Creole on the chicken itself and substituted chipotles in adobo sauce for the sun dried tomatoes. Wasn't too bad. Never had any version before to compare it to, though.
I understand cooking; it's like art, and every cook is an artist in their own right. I just can't seem to appreciate this guy's particular style. It's as if I'm into oil painting and he's into spray painting. To each their own. I guess. algorithm brought me here. -_-
Freaking amazing looking...tomorrow nite for me. I know it sounds boring, but would love to see your take on classic salads. I just know you could SAM-IZE em into something FANTASTIC!!!
Please do octopus, maybe a grilled or also a braised method. Best thing from the ocean if you do it right but so many people are scared of cooking it wrong.
Love this! Simple and really tasty! Don’t stop with these easy but classic dinner dishes - it’s getting on to cooler weather and many of us in the Northeast no longer grill so….. Anyway - would love to see your spin on a classic Southern dish - Hoppin’ John.
Oh yeah! Hopping John is killah, although I have lived in the south all my life and was in my 40's before I ever heard of it and tasted that great stuff. Love it!
I'd like to see you make Red Pozole (very different than the Kale Pozole you made once. It has the Hominy as well as dried Ancho and New Mexican Peppers (or Guajillo) along with Pork.
I’d try to make this. I would take it a step further, reduce the sauce, top the whole thing with a little cheese and pop it under a broiler. Add some crusty bread and then mmmmmmmm!
Sam so funny! My first date with my wife (18 years now) I made chicken. And well. You nailed it on the head! Who woulda thought she would stick around.
hey Sam could you do a bread dipping sauce video from around the world where one country might use olive oil balsamic and another soy sesame etc so people can make a snacking night for alcohol and other stuff
I'm already married, and I seriously doubt I'll receive the 'eff benefit from my wife. But I'm making this for myself anyway! Love this channel - I've made may great dishes from your recipes Sam. Love your humor!

Agree, some acid like lemon or wine to kick it up a notch.
Whenever I watch these videos I can’t help but imagine how amazing it must be to have him as a dad

Hubby just made this for me… delicious! You have got him cooking “different “ recipes. 🎉❤you rock Sam. You are always welcome in Texas!
Sam, after all these years you still manage to keep me smiling. Love your attitude brother! Keep it up buddy. Thank you.
STCG never fails! Made this tonight and it was a hit. And hubs agrees, not proposal worthy but most def the other.
I was looking for an I want a divorce chicken recipe.🤣🤣🤣
I’ll send you my ex-wife’s cookbook. You’re sure to find a recipe or two that can help you 😂

Yes, puree the sundried tomatoes. It makes the sauce delicious and you avoid the weird chewy texture.
Pancetta is genius. "F++k Me" chicken is hilarious. Well done.
Wife told me about the marry me chicken recipe a few weeks ago. I was hesitant to make it but she bought all the ingredients so I didn't really have a choice. Ended up making it and loving it, one of the best meals I've made at home!

AAAAH sundried tomatoes texture is great!!! what
Italian flag chicken. Which is basically chicken marinaded in Italian dressing but still good. Mozzarella cheese and roasted red peppers 😋
Great new ideas, I make this kind of dish for myself and my wife about every other week so variation is good. Thanks!
rouladen and spaetzle! One of my favorite childhood dishes my grandma would make and I never see any of the popular UA-camrs make it.
Made this last night for dinner. Another chicken dinner winner. The wife said, she'd marry me again. Thanks Sam!
Sam, you always bring the fun with your videos, thx for that. Now I will always refer to this as F me chicken! I love how you are teaching so many young people

Your additions f$$$$$$ rock! I tried it last night! I never liked sun roasted tomatoes before now! Thanks Chef ❤
i really like the way you tell about what you do while you're doing it. Finally a guy with some humor :-). Thanks.
SAM!!! I think you guys should make Chicken Pollo Rosa Maria (Carrabba's). It's fantastic! Love this channel and I watch every single episode! Thanks!
You should try Chicken pot pie inside a pumpkin. Hollow out the pumpkin. Fill it and put the pie dough covering the hole in the pumpkin. Something I did for the family a while ago and it’s the season for it!!!!
Have you ever tried more wild meat meals, Bison, Dear, Elk. Nothing better than a Bison burger. Eel Sushi? Etc
This is a favorite go-to recipe. Love it over creamy cheese rice or with risotto.
I stumbled across this basic recipe as "Tuscan Salmon" when I first saw it. It was a little different, but I have made it with chicken as well as salmon. It is a fabulous flavor combination to be sure.
I made some merry me chicken a month ago but instead of bacon I used kale, which worked very well
What were you trying to marry, a rabbit?
I made it and it was a hit, I used 50% asiago and 50% parm. Also replaced flour with arrowroot to make it GF.
I just had the most unexpected and delightful surprise, when I happened upon the clip where you told Kathie Lee & Hoda to shut up for a minute.
I once made a potato soup that made my boyfriend propose. I said yes, but later broke off the engagement. Thank god - he turned into Ned Flanders. Dodged a bullet on that one!

Should've saved the parm for last. Cause the oils separated, but it looks delicious!! 😍
I made a very similar dish to this for my wife 5 years ago when I asked her to marry me. My version is more of a blackened cajun style chicken with andouille sausage.
I made a chicken dish similar to this except I used coconut milk instead of cream and added slices of red bell pepper with a onion❤
😂😂😂 I am in love with Sam. I love sarcastically funny men.

Freaking amazing looking...tomorrow nite for me. I know it sounds boring, but would love to see your take on classic salads. I just know you could SAM-IZE em into something FANTASTIC!!!
I make this all the time. The only thing that i think makes it marry me in addition to how you cooked it, diced red bell pepper.

Question would this be good on top of fettuccine?
I’d try to make this. I would take it a step further, reduce the sauce, top the whole thing with a little cheese and pop it under a broiler. Add some crusty bread and then mmmmmmmm!
It's very reminiscent of Indian Butter Chicken. Different spices obviously, but close to the same style of cooking. Looks tasty!
Sam so funny! My first date with my wife (18 years now) I made chicken. And well. You nailed it on the head! Who woulda thought she would stick around.
Love it, I’m going to have to try out this recipe! Thanks guys!!
You could have called it "Get Lucky Chicken" or "Date Night Chicken" or even " Aphrodisiac Chicken", but then you wouldn't be Sam😂
Thank you for your amazing presentations!
This looks awesome! I still haven't gotten over how good the lasagna grilled cheese was from a few months ago! You make great food! Thank you!
Great recipe and love the channel. Has anyone tried to make Etouffee? That would be an intesting recipe to see done on this channel.
Love all of your recipes. Can you do a smoked brunswick stew recipe? Cold weather is on the way and need a delicious comfort food!
hey Sam could you do a bread dipping sauce video from around the world where one country might use olive oil balsamic and another soy sesame etc so people can make a snacking night for alcohol and other stuff
Other MMC recipes do not have pancetta. But trust Sam (and I), do not omit this. It takes it to the next level. So good.
I'm already married, and I seriously doubt I'll receive the 'eff benefit from my wife.

Finally made this tonight. We really enjoyed it but agreed that it was hours long couch nake out session worthy at best. lol Next time I make it Im adding lime or lemon zest and italian flat leaf parsley.
My first time tuning into your channel and I enjoyed your “method” of instruction! I’m going to make your FY chicken! 😊
no, it's FM chicken! :)
@@davidlindgren7605😂
❤great ending😂
Question please:: what would you suggest as a side with this chicken?
Drooling early !!!! Not a fan of the sun dried tomatoes either, I thunk I'd substitute pimentoes for color.
Made it! With the leftovers, I made Honeymoon Pasta!😃
Oh, yeah, I'm gonna be cooking that! Been married 35 years so NEED the f-me chicken now!
Thank you Sam for that. Awesome recipe! My girls absolutely loved it!
Thanks guys will try this 😊
