G’day Matty. Sorry for the late reply. Been snowed under here. Yes that Daintree live centre is really good. Happy with the drill chuck too. Thanks for watching buddy. Cheers mate 🍻
G’day Ralfy. Always nice to hear from you mate. Yes we are all doing well thanks for asking. Finally seeing the tail end of winter over here, it’s been a long cold and wet one here in Melbourne. Trust you are all well. Cheers buddy 👍🍻
Hi Aaron, thanks for the shout out 😀👍. Nice chucks you've got there. I need a decent one for my mill, still running the crappy mt3 3-16mm keyed one that came with the mill. I'm often drilling for M3, so it's a pain as I have to use my mt2 drill chuck with a 2-3 sleeve and change the drawbar every time 🙄
Hi Olly. Oh it’s my pleasure mate. I got your stickers up on the board now. Sadly I’ve run out of room now, probably should have a bought a bigger board 😂. Yes, very happy with those new tools. Money well spent. Cheers mate 🍻
Hey Aaron. Love the new Live Centre. Daintree, definitely make a Nice tool. Based up in your old stomping ground in Queensland. New Keyless Drill Chuck always come in handy 👍 Gone are the days of needing a Chuck Key that Never seemed to fit the Drill Chuck you were using 🙄😂 I never know what happens the Chuck Key that came with the Chuck ?? Maybe in the same place those tiny screws seem to go when working on something 🤔😂 Nothing wrong with Taiwanese, Tools and Machinery. They are considered as the best quality. Looks like another good day out shopping 🙂👍 Great to see you again. Hopefully I can get around to making some more videos again one day ??? Peter 👍
G’day Peter. Sorry for the late reply. Yes very happy with the Daintree live centre. It would best suit a CNC, but works a treat on the old Colchester. I’m also impressed with that Taiwanese keyless drill chuck. I’m with you on “keyed chucks” pain in the backside they are. Can’t wait to see and hear about your new purchase that is coming. Loved to se a video if you get time mate. Cheers 🍻
@@AaronEngineering Hey Aaron. Great to see you buying up on more Tools 👌 Something satisfying about Man Shopping 🛍 🙂 The Live Centre is definitely a good purchase. When you have the Right tools for the job, it definitely makes a difference. Currently super busy in my shop. With a mix of ongoing and plenty of Turning Work. I could definitely do with a CNC Lathe at the moment 😒 Manual is okay. Just taking toooo long to complete the parts ??? I start to get behind which is pushing other jobs back. A little stressful. Because I don't like to let people down and promising without delivering is not a great place to be. When the new long overdue machine finally arrives. This will make a Huge difference to my life in general.
Just discovered your channel mate. Good stuff. I have a low klm 1963 Mk1 Student colchester with follow and steady rest, 4 jaw, drive plate, capstan and heaps of tooling in Brisbane
Hello Steve. It's very nice to meet you mate. Thanks for checking out my channel. I've been a bit quiet over the last month of so, but plan to do some more videos soon. Your lathe sounds like a very nice piece of kit. Especially with the capstan. Would love to see a video of it in action Steve. Cheers mate, Aaron.
Thanks for the vid Aaron. I have the same problem with the bloody snails, little f***ers! It might be busy but I hope you are really enjoying the new job.
G’day Mouse. Yes those bloody snails are a pain in the arse. I want to use some snail bait, but afraid it might poison my little dogs. So I’ll just have to put up with them for now. Cheers mate 🍻
@@AaronEngineering Can you fit a beer can in the letterbox? Snails love it - a half full can (top cut off) they will climb in and drown. Check it whenever you check the mail. Won't kill the dog either though it might develop a taste for it haha.
G’day Mark. Thanks mate, I’ve been a bit quiet on the video front lately. I need to extract the digit 👉 and get busy again. Hope you’re well buddy. Have you been flying lately? Cheers 🍻
Good to see you back. I figured you have been wide open at your new job with no time for much else. I knew Australia had some dangerous snakes and spiders, but I didnt know you had mail snails too. Should I put some poison in the next package I send you?
G’day Tom. Yes those bloody snails 🐌. I would bait them, but too worried that my little dogs will eat it and get poisoned. Yes been under the pump at work. I hope it will settle down soon 🤞. Great to hear from you Tom. Trust you and the family are well mate cheers 🍻
@@AaronEngineering Well we are doing pretty good here. The temps are getting cooler and the leaves are changing colors. Been dragging me feet on your package. Sorry about that. It will go out tomorrow so look for it in about a month. 🙂
What's with the cardboard? That's what your face is for!! You'll need a beard to fully enjoy the smell of burning hair. :) That threading attachment is pretty dang slick!! Great video buddy!! :)
Hi Chris how are you? Hope that rain has settled down up your way and it didn’t wash you out. I think Matty might be selling one of his mills soon. You should email him if you’re after one. Unfortunately no free ones available at the moment 😆. Cheers mate 🍻. Aaron
G’day BC. I have 4 Sony “mirrorless” cameras. I use an Sony a7 for narration work, a Sony a6 on a mag base for lathe chuck work. A Sony AS200v action cam for inside CNC machine work and an older NEX VG30 dedicated video camera for nice zoom in shots. No 4K stuff unfortunately, but all cameras are full HD. Usually shoot at 25-30fps. This might make for good video actually 😉
Gday Aaron, nice new tooling and awesome gifts, I got my eye on a Daintree centre too, awesome job on the bolts mate, cheers
