Morning Peter. Thanks for checking out my latest video. Yes had another procedure on Friday. Got the bad veins stripped from my left leg. Very fkn sore mate at the moment and can't even dress myself. Cheers mate, Aaron.
@AaronEngineering Painful moments I can totally relate to. Lower back pain has been with me since my late 20s. I can be doing something simple like sweeping the floor. Bending down to take away the rubbish. Then, out of action for anything from a few days to over a week ??? Thankfully, my days of sliding down the road after crashing my 🏍 are in the past. Well, it hasn't happened for a few years at least. I'm sure I would hear about it from someone if it happened again 😁 Thankfully, I have my child 👰♂ to look after me when I have the occasional back problems. But, I might be struggling to get any sympathy IF I came off my 🏍 again 😬 Now that you're out of action. You might have time to drop by this UA-cam channel I heard about. Apparently, it's a pretty good channel to watch. I think it's called WELDMACHINE 🤔 😅 Take it easy. And I'm sure we will see your 😃 face back on UA-cam soon. All the best. Peter 👍
G'day Max. I'm doing ok mate. Just a bit sore in the right leg, but very sore in the left. Should take a couple weeks to heal from the laser and vein stripping. It will take longer to heal my pocket though $$$$ ha ha ha. Cheers, Aaron.
Hi Mark it’s so nice to hear from you, thanks for well wishes. I had laser surgery on massive varicose veins and then got both legs stripped. Very bloody sore TBH. Thanks for watching mate. Cheers 🍻
G’day Terry. Thanks for contributing mate. I agree with you. It’s an excellent project for the home hobby machinist to make. Our apprentices make it in their 2nd year to tick off the milling unit. Cheers 🍻 mate. Aaron
Hello Aaron, All the talk about surgery and "Half Nut" made my eyes water - lol... I hope the operation went well... Nice project, enjoyable viewing, thank you. Take care. Paul,,
Thank you Paul. Feel free to download the PDF plans and give it a crack. It’s a neat little project. Thanks for well wishes. I had laser treatment and large varicose veins stripped. Very sore ATM. Us men need to take more care of our health. Cheers 🍻
G'day Manny. Thanks for the well wishes mate. I had the procedure performed on Friday. Very sore at them moment and just trying to take it easy. Cheers, Aaron.
Excellent project Aaron. But more importantly outstanding video presentation. Easy to watch/understand without all the useless chatter and filler many other channels use. Good luck with your surgery and see you when your back on your feet. Cheers!
Hi Denny. Thank you for the kind & positive feedback. I made and filmed this project share with you guys and also our students to assist them when making it. Nice re-entry footage you captured of starship too mate. Cheers, Aaron.
G'day Tom. I shipped it up to them on Friday morning. They received it on Monday morning. I believe it's at the show now. I won't be able to make this year, as I've had the bad veins stripped on both my legs. I'm hobbling around at the moment. Cheers, Aaron.
G'day Aaron. Another great tutorial, making the plates, bolt with hex head. Let's be honest for Mr. Average a hex collect will do a great job. Don't have a Surface Grinder, so a Flycutter will have to suffice. Overall a really Smart Looking Unit. Hope all went well with the Surgery.
Hell Ted 👋. Thank you for following along with this build project. The little vice (vise) came out good in the end. Hopefully it contributes to the UA-cam machinist community. Additionally the video work well as a reference point for the apprentices I teach. Thanks for the well wishes. I’m slowly on the mend, but very sore still. Cheers 🍻
Nice work Aaron.
Hopefully some of your recovery time after surgery can be spent out in your shop👍👍

@@AaronEngineering Oh wow. They don't strip them over here any more. They do laser treatments. Hopefully you will be up and walking around soon.
