- I have finally finished the King version of the Ghostbusters Firehouse, it is based off of Lego set #75827 which retired in 2018. The set was purchased from Youmko and retails for around $150 cdn. Join us as we take a deep dive into the replica set.

I LOVE the street light. It’s so simple yet so cool!! Also I cannot get enough of the pink slime on the sidewalk that dripped down!!! 🤣🤣 how awesome! Absolutely detailed set and great review!! I was looking forward to this video! 😊

I just got one myself. I have to admit, when I saw all the non-numbered bags, I am just a bit intimidated by it
I was too. I used lots of containers to sort as much as I could and it got easier as I went. It was definitely worth it 😊. Thank you for sharing.

Hey!
The extra head is for the Tully character. It goes with the silver coloured dome element (in your extra pieces) - it’s for when he’s being “tested” by one of the Ghostbusters. You’ve inadvertently given the extra head to the first Ghostbuster 7:22 as it has a printed chinstrap which holds on Tullys brain scanning devise (the dome element).
I love this set, and, for me, it’s every bit as good as the LEGO original!

Great review. I've purchased this, as well as several other modulars of retired official sets and I love them all. It costs a little more, but I eliminated the base plate problem by putting it on a MILS plate using old 2x bricks and various plates (you tile over all of them so the color doesn't matter). It makes it much easier to move around as well.
Alternative bricks for retired sets is the way. I have been toying with idea of the Mils Plates, especially with the alt bricks. Your right, it may be worth the investment. Thanks for the support and encouragement.
Lovely set, the detailed interior is a highlight imo.

I have the original day 1 build from Lego and it does the same thing with catching the baseplate when opening.

My (Chinese) Ghostbuster's Firehouse was missing a lot of pieces which was the same with the Police Station. Parts appeared to just be filled in bags without any order on both of these kits. However, I just finished the Downtown Diner, (also a Chinese) unlike the other two, I only needed 2 small pieces that I had parts of and ALL the numbered bags corresponded to the LEGO manual parts/build bags. Sadly, I don't remember which Chinese company I bought them from. Great video and build.
I remember you mentioning your issue with this and the Police Station so am glad to hear the Diner was better. I Love the Diner so much!
I have had pretty good experience with the King versions of replica sets, if that helps.

Well, I couldn't stand it, I had to get this set so I logged on to the Youmko site to get it. However, one of the first sets that came up when I did that was "Welcome to Apocalypseburg" set for $61.74 American! *sigh* $41.99 shipping though? OUCH. That said, the original set sold for $300 and in the secondary market it now goes for around $700, so I went ahead and did it. The Ghostbusters set can wait I'm afraid.
You will not regret Apocalypseburg. That looks like such an amazing build. The size of it is really impressive. I would have made the same decision. Enjoy😊
