I'm looking forward to next season for sure! Liam, welcome again and please come visit again 😊 I had wondered if the drill size affected the auger. Mine is a small one but 20V, fun but aggravating eh?
Respectfully, did the cemetary allow you to plant the bulbs? In my experience, the cemtaries are very strict about anything interfering with the lawn mowers. Maintenance runs over anything and everything that's in the lawn. We're only allowed to place items on the headstone. Just don't want you to be disappointed when they mow the flowers before they have bloomed.
The new part of the cemetery has more rules. The old part doesn’t get quite the attention of the new. There are already bulbs nearby. We won’t have any say in when they mow; so depending on the grass, they may get mowed early some years.
What a lovely way to honor her memory. My mom loves daffodils also, tho she calls them Easter lillies. I planted some for her this past spring and I hope to divide them soon.❤❤❤
How is that to work when the cemetery crew comes around to cut grass? Will they just mow them over while they're in full bloom? Oh I hope not! I wonder if making an actual bed they could mow around would be a better option? Fill it with spring daffodils and summer perennials.
Most cemeteries you do. In the old section of ours, people have been planting for years, and they haven't been as strict -- however, they don't want anything planted that might interfere lawn care.
Absolutely love Liam’s guest appearances ❤ Can’t wait till spring to see all your hard work come to fruition 😁
Such a loving tribute to Pat
I love that you guys did this. If my son did something like this for me I’d be so proud looking down on him. ❤
Now all I can hear is 🎶 you spin me right 'round baby right 'round 🎶
😄

Do you have to get permission from cemetery to plant flowers?
